| Keyblade Novice | I thought it would be a waste if I did not use this character... Name: Yin 'Fuwa' Wuiten Age: 21 Race: Elf. Sex: Male. Hair: Shoulder-length pitch-black hair. Eyes: Black. Weight: 150 lbs. Height: 6'8 feet tall. Weapon: N/A. Armor: N/A. Strengths: He is good at running and has enough great upper body strength that when he punches someone, there is a chance of them going skidding across the floor a few feet away from him or flying into a wall. Weakness: Petrified of Lightning outside of using it himself, deathly afraid of tornadoes, he is unable to see correctly without a special kind of glasses and even if he wears contacts his vision is halved, and unreasonable fear of insects. Skills/Magic: Raitei: This lightning spell is his strongest--it gives him the speed of a lightning bolt and whatever he touches would be charged with around a thousand volts of electricity. Kuro Tsunami: A wave of darkness washes over the opponent, although it is nothing short of an illusion designed to act as a distraction and petrify the opponent. Reflexion: This technique allows him to reflect basic magic spells back at the user. Sakura no Shi: His second strongest spell, a whirlwind of petals swirl around those who he designates it to be--these petals cut through flesh like razor sharp blades. Jinki: His fingertips can extend into lethal 2 1/2-foot long claws. Other: He utilizes chi expertly into his combat skills (martial arts). Appearance: As suggested by his height, he is rather tall as well as lanky which gives him a appearance that does not speak anything of his strength. His typical attire is a black body suit, black shoes, a long black coat, and a black hat. He occasionally wears glasses but prefers to wear contacts; he always has on a watch. His black hair is neatly brushed back a little but bangs hang in front of his deep black eyes. His skin is that of a very pale white color giving him the image of someone who is sickly and his ears are pointed, a sign of his heritage. Personality: Because of his background...he has two personalities. One of those personalities is a kind, compassionate man who is not afraid of stepping in people's business to save someone from danger. He offers advice to those he can and will be protective of those who he cares about; he is not afraid to give up his life for them. His other personality, while not necessarily 'evil' or 'bad' in a sense is the antithesis to his other personality. This personality being one of a analytical sense of a cold tactician during a war; if he is being mocked, he will be very defensive and will resort to harsh verbal retorts not befitting of his usual nature. He honestly could not care less about those around him and would ignore pleas for his assistance. He will be likened to having a realistic view about the world around him and will try to find logical answers to whatever questions may arise. He tends to be very sarcastic as well. When others approach him though, they may feel a strange chill... What he dislikes overall is anyone's apathetic view on situations without any sort of logical reason why; with both personalities he can be argumentative if given a chance to be to the point where it is nearly impossible to get him to concede in an argument. He also is a terrible loser. Biography: Contrary to his race, he was not born somewhere in some mystical forest but was actually born in Beijing where his parents tended him with utmost care. His parents wanted Yin to grow up to be one who held enough intelligence to get through the toughest college or university in the world. That's right, he was born on Earth; the parents did not hide their obvious elvish features such as their ears because no one really paid much attention to such a thing. His parents did, however, come from a forest that once existed in Hiroshima but his parents passed away and Yin had to be given up to a regular human family. Yin didn't mind--he was everything his parents wanted him to be; he was intelligent and withheld more common sense than many others did. As a child he did not make much friends because he was rather quiet and when others approached him they felt a chill that made them quite unsettled. Yin always would point out people's faults at the drop of a dime. "You're too judgmental." He said to a teacher in third grade upon such close observation of said teacher who then suddenly thought right after that comment that Yin should engage in conversation with the other children of his age. Yin however, made a comment, calling such involvement with others 'unnecessary' and 'burdensome' which made the mentor quite uncomfortable. Especially with the way the young child stared at him--it was like he was trying to read his mind. Such problems with social status and whatnot did not truly arise until he was a Freshman in high school; many others teased him of being a studious bookworm as well as about the way his ears looked. The latter comment usually earned the offender a cold stare. "There he is again. I swear, he is so pale he can pass for a ghost." "And those sharp ears--reminds you of a demon, doesn't it?" "I bet his family is undead." Yin had frowned as he found that such comments were not to be allowed to go unpunished, at least not today he would allow them to be. The black-haired elf decided that maybe the ignorant ****s needed to be reeducated in proper etiquette. In the hallway, he spun quickly on his right heel as he turned around to give the group a run for their money but right at that moment a hand found its way to his shoulder. He looked up to see a tall, short red-haired boy, who stood at exactly 6'9, he said, "Don't waste your time on them. Let's go, Yin." Yin had heard of the man before him--it was someone named Xue who was apparently a famous member of the school's soccer team. He was surprised that such an individual would come to his aid but his black eyes bore into the taller boy's eyes without mercy. It was a habit he was used to and as Xue finally noticed Yin looking at him like that he grinned, saying, "Is there something wrong? If I have something stuck on my face--" Yin made a face. "--No, you don't. Nothing is wrong." "Alright, let's go then!" Before Yin could say anything, the taller boy dragged him across the building to the next class; at that time he was only 5'5 and thought the other boy was a giant. He was glad that the other boy had came along at that time; otherwise, he might of got in trouble for hurting those gossiping group of boys who had nothing better to do in their time. It had been troublesome, but he was definitely able to deal with everything else when Xue came along. It was the first time someone outside of his mother and father helped him. Of course, as he graduated...he found the inside he had changed--even though he was going to go successfully to a great university like his parents wished. He no longer really pushed aside those who helped him and ignore those who were in desperate need of assistance; in fact it was the exact opposite. For the first time in a while, Yin smiled. "You should smile more often; you know what they say, 'a person's smile is like the beautiful rays of the sun'." "Be careful, if you even so much as glance at the sun, you will be severely impaired by those rays." Xue rolled his eyes at Yin's response. Yin smirked as his hand grabbed a hold of the doorknob of the door leading into his house, opening the door as well as taking a step inside when he heard the distinct sound of a gun going off. His body slumped against the floor as the man beside Xue was wearing a smile that belonged only to cruel people. "You...you're the one who took my place aren't you? Ever since you graduated and were the one who got into the place I wanted to be...Well, that doesn't matter now because you're dead I suppose." "How could you...?!" Xue launched himself at the friend who had accompanied the two to the home--but it was all in vain even as he started to beat the other down; the unnamed individual reached for a dagger inside his shirt and drove it into Xue's stomach. Before the red head could recover however, he was dead. The parents had immediately ran into the room, looking completely worried--which etched into fear and sadness. The cold killer did not waste his time in pulling the trigger. Eight shots before the parents could even react and they were dead. Lightning struck outside and as the brown-haired man turned his back on the once-happy home, he heard the sound of someone's painful groan; he turned around but screamed as claws tore into his face. Again and again the sound of gunshots went off as he tried to kill the 'monster' but it proved ineffective and when the gun was empty, his time ran out. -- Beep. Beep. Bee-- Yin then grabbed a hold of the clock to turn off the electrical clock...but ended up sapping the power out of the batteries and frowned; he still had to get used to using his spells. That was the 20th time this week he had done that and he wasn't proud about it; he decided to sleep because well, he would rather do so than work on that novel. After all...the deadline was weeks away. Right? Right? The elf scrambled out of bed upon looking at his agenda beside his bed--today is the deadline! -- Note: I am going to bed, I will get a post up at around 9 PM EST and at the latest, 12 AM EST. | Keyblade Novice | "What a lovely night it is tonight..." A black-haired young man withheld a soft smile as his voice was carried along the nightly breeze in the outskirts of Tokyo where there was many a cherry blossom tree. His orbs which represented pools of blackness due to their color gaze into the dark, clear sky that was littered with bright stars that presented their brilliant light from even just billions of miles away. The elf liked to go outside at this time of night due to the silence which accompanied the time of day--in the morning people were obnoxious and loud to the point of great annoyance. That was the time he slept because he found it too burdensome to deal with the way people acted in the world in the wee hours of the morning. He had completed his work and whatever he did after was none of anyone else's business as far as he was concerned. Finding solace at the park on the outskirts of Tokyo was something he did quite often after his late afternoon work; the black-clothed man wore a genuine smile that despite what happened in his life was hard to remove. Including whenever someone died. It was because of this not many people took him seriously unless he killed them then--then again, it would be too late wouldn't it? The person would already be dead and therefore unable to see how serious an individual he could be. On the flip side, he enjoyed talking with people, it was nice to meet nice acquaintances with others and get to know people so he knew when it was time to bring them their birthday present or when it was time to give them some chocolate. The feeling of seeing others smile in happiness due to his kind deeds was indescribable in the most part but it was a good feeling he supposed. However, he did not know anyone personally because he just never bothered to go to parties or bars or actually hang out in places which he considered not to be where he would exactly would want to be at the time. The black-haired man smiled as he glanced up at the moon. Then he took out a cigarette, lit it with a lighter, and began to smoke the cancer stick. Years ago, his best friend would scold him and (successfully) stop him from smoking due to something about 'destroying your health' or some words like that. It was a nice notion he supposed when he looked back on it but Yin now did not care about his so-called 'health' when he knew he would be find due to who exactly he is. Being an elf had its good points. When he walked through the park, he happened to bump into someone; his deep black eyes looked up... ". . ." -- *Note: ...>___> Are you not taking me seriously? | Team 29 on the line... | Tokyo. A city of majestic beauties. A city of countless wonders. An epicenter of creation, whose influence spread out into the entire world. A city of imagination, a city of fantasy. A place, whose name was known throughout the entire world… Damn, he hated it. Enegi was floating about three feet above ground level, totally invisible to the naked eye. His muscular arms were folded across his invisible chest, pressing the golden armbands that encircled his wrists harder against the surface of his skin. They would have shone mysteriously in the darkness of the night, but fortunately, they were cloaked by the invisibility that surrounded his entire form. Enegi’s face, which was still hidden by this invisibility, was twisted into a subtle frown. Human cities… They were nothing compared with the Kingdoms of Heaven… These pathetic mortals thought they were so good at everything. They thought they understood everything perfectly… Really, they just crawled around in the mud like worms, trying to build a living amidst the crap around them… Enegi expanded his chest, as if he was breathing heavily, and twisted his neck slightly. He had come here after destroying a former 'master.' It was annoying that the Gods themselves created him to serve these pathetic creations. Even after he had gone AWOL from the dimension where he was ordered to , Enegi still was bound by the magical laws that kept his powers in order... He was still subservient to the simplest of human desires...All this talk about rules and his own boundaries caused a small spark of anger to rise in his chest, and he clenched his invisible fists in anger as he stared out into the horizon of Tokyo. Enegi really needed to screw someone over now… Fortunately, it seemed like that opportunity presented itself. He felt something bump into him, and he glanced to his left to see a strange looking person An…. elf? Some kind of strange non-human at least. Good. He was tired of these stupid mortals ruling his existence. However, it was close enough. The laws might uphold still… Then again, he was a master at exploiting these laws. Instantly, the cigarette that the elf was smoking transformed into a stick of dynamite. The pale grey smoke shifted instantly into showering red sparks. The fuse was burning down quickly, and the crimson red stick would soon explode in a fireball of localized destruction… Eh, he wasn’t a human so he didn’t have to grant his wishes, but who knows? If the elf played his cards right, he might earn himself a wish. “Smoking may not be dangerous to your health,” stated the dynamite stick, the inanimate object vibrating slightly as it spoke aloud to the elf, “But it still annoys the hell out of me.” Last edited by Chariot of Fire; 03/03/08 at 09:12 PM. |

| Keyblade Novice | With a swift movement of his right hand, he took the dynamite stick out of his mouth and threw it far behind him in which it had exploded after landing in a stream nearby. He slightly adjusted his glasses with his index finger from his right hand--Yin was slightly displeased at the fact that the man had just wasted one of the few pleasures he still took out of life. But then again, it was not like he could light up another cancer stick--so he did with no amount of consideration for the other man before him as he deliberately blew smoke in the face of the individual in front of him. Yin had thought of apologizing but he did not feel like giving the other the honor of doing so once the large man nearly blew him up. Taking the cigarette out of his mouth with his right hand he smiled pleasantly at Enegi. So rude. I already have enough people trying to kill me. "Has your stay in your homeland dulled your sense of good manners?" Yin chuckled as he finished the comment; the smoke coming out from the cigarette appeared to be making the area more dense with the smoke and if there were any humans nearby they had already cleared the location due to it the park becoming more unbearable to be around increasing each second with the smoke. He could easily tell wherever the man came from, he was at least someone from the Middle East--then again he could be wrong but Yin knew what he saw. The writing of Ancient Arabic did not escaped his vigilant eye-sight--well vigilant as long he was wearing his glasses--and he instantly remembered his studies in perfecting almost every single language in the world....except Spanish. He couldn't speak Spanish worth a damn. As a writer he thought it would be necessary to do so anyway. He certainly thought the individual in front of him seemed like a tough opponent. "It's nice to meet you." There were pink petals resting beneath both of their feet as Fuwa took off his glasses, folding them into...nothingness; slowly his eye pigment began to turn a dark brown, into an amber color and then into bright red as their surroundings were surrounded by pink petals. The pure magic from this attack could be sensed almost a mile away as from outside of the whirlwind of pink petals, there were cherry blossom trees. Then, some of the petals turned inward to cut into the Djinn while the rest prevented him from escaping the narrow space inside of the whirlwind which became almost like a tornado. If said petals were to cut into his skin, they would indeed begin to drain his life-force. "Did you ever hear of the saying that underneath every Sakura tree there is a dead body which taints the pure white true color of the sakura petals into the pigment of pink from their blood?" Still clutched in his right hand was the cigarette as he lifted it to his lips before he took in another breath of it before blowing out smoke. |

| Team 29 on the line... | "Manners are overrated," stated the dynamite stick before it exploded harmlessly in the water. Droplets of the sapphire liquid shot high into the sky, before raining back upon the grass of Tokyo like the tears of a distraught goddess. Enegi still hung invisibly in the air in front of the strange elf-looking being, however, this quickly changed. He let himself be seen, allowing the blackness of his skin to breech the cold night air. He swelled in size, looming high above the elf like a growing balloon. His golden wristbands now shone liking the sun itself, radiating a soft golden glow like that of the angels. His hands were still folded across his chest, and his muscular form seemed to spell out POWER to all that gazed upon it. His chest, also very well built, seemed to quiver slightly as Enegi gazed down upon the elf, his eyes twitching slightly as he listened in on the elf’s speech. Oh, such legends… Stuff of human fantasy that they only barely saw the truth in. It was so hard to tell between the folklores that were true and the ones that were created simply out of human imagination. However, Enegi listened dutifully, a small trace of anger dropping out of his current rage. “Hey, I’ll give out manners just as soon as the Divine Laws of the Cosmos change,” he stated bluntly, uncrossing his arms and cracking his large black knuckles with a few distinct cracks, “And since that isn’t happening any time soon… “ Enegi simply twisted his back, acting as if he was loosening up a bit, glancing at the strange looking elf for a moment while waiting for the obvious retaliatory response that was coming. And come it did. A strange swarm of pink petals arose from the beautiful cherry blossoms around them. Typical humans. Trying to make up for their own ugliness and pitiful lives with the majesty nature offered them. However, it was rare that Enegi saw these simple works of nature swarming around him, surrounding him instantly like a hive of angry hornets. The pink flashes swished this way and that, and somehow, Enegi was not feeling that it would be beneficial to his health for them to touch him. Eh, we’d just have to fix that… As the petals flashed toward him, slashing inward at apparently random angles, Enegi spun his upper body in a swift circle, rotating his chest and arms like a tornado. He was a black blur as the pink petals shot toward him, and there was a sudden glowing white light, like a variety of small flashing explosions within the tornado of blackness that was Enegi’s body. Suddenly, the pink petals where no more… A flurry of white feathers showered the grass, and a storm of doves shot outward, fluttering lightly across the Tokyo grass. “Just like a John Woo movie!” replied Enegi laughing, the white doves swirling around him like a cyclone of large snowflakes, “I gotta hand it to the humans, they may suck dirt, but they can pull off some great stuff.” The white doves flew around a bit, before landing across the grass, landing on some of the cherry blossoms, pecking on the ground, covering the ground in a layer of white. Enegi stood as the sole black dot on a sea of purity, and he raised his hands, flicking his fingers a few times before coughing slightly. “Let’s see what you’re made of, elfy,” said Enegi finally, and each of the doves suddenly looked up, their small black eyes suddenly turning a gleaming crimson red. White feathers exploded outward, and in the place of the white doves stood hundreds of dark black bats. With a chorus of shrieks, the bats rose into the air, shooting toward the elf so fast that they looked like small black blurs in the air. Each of the small bats would explode on contact with the elf. Woohoo. |
