Here Comes Another Suggestions Thread!

This is a bit random, I guess, but I was thinking that it'd be fun to make something similar to what justme3 did with the Balamb Garden, but with a general Hogwarts or Kingdom Hearts. I wouldn't want this to be a replacement or anything, I'm just throwing it out there because I know that there are a lot of people who complained about not being able to participate in the BG (yah, I'm that lazy XD) because they hadn't played FFVIII (even though justme3 specifically said that they didn't have to have played the game, but whatever. Their loss, right?), and this would just give people more options. I mean, Harry Potter is HUGE and Kingdom Hearts is...well, self-explanitory. Personally, I'd participate in all three and I already am part of the Balamb Garden...

Now, I realize that these would require much work to create and keep up with, as justme3 has told us, but I would be happy to write at least one of the two. This is not to say that someone else isn't free to do so if they would like. I'd be cool with that, as well.

I also think that since there are so many KH and HP spinoffs that this would satisfy a large audience. Not that I think that the other RPs should be gotten rid of or put to a stop, just that these would be more broad and open versions. I could be wrong, though. Just an idea. And I certainly wouldn't want justme3 to feel like I or anyone else was stealing his idea, so I'd deffinitely want him to be okay with it before anything else gets started up. :D

xD The problem with both of those is probably the same as Balamb currently.

Despite the fact that many people enjoy Harry Potter, and thus would likely also enjoy a roleplay set in the the school that he attends, you have to take into account the fact that there'd be not a whole lot to do on the grounds, as well as the fact that it'd be necessary to have a number of staff that are in character at all times. The staff would have to be active because of the distribution of house points for almost everything people do, as well as trying to keep hogwarts interesting. Classes would also have to be a big part as well, as they are constantly taking place when the kids are at the school, and the fact that not a whole lot is known about the school as a whole also is a problem.

As for Kingdom Hearts, the problem there would have to be keybladers. Everybody would want to join being one, and everybody would want to travel to the most random worlds and pwn anybody there. The only way to deal with that would be to limit the worlds that they can go to with events, but even then having the whole roleplaying community enter that world looking for one or two villains probably wouldn't be that good for plot. Even if you only chose a certain amount of people, some would complain that it's too exclusive and flood your pm box(trust me, it's really annoying when people flood your pm box). The fact that most people would want to have a keyblade is a problem as well. =3

Anyways, I didn't say any of that because I don't like you, or I was pissed off or anything. In fact I have nothing but <3 4 j00.

plus, the Kingdom Hearts Idea is like Inferno. Why do that when you can play the Inferno? Just doesn't make sense.

Lol, alright. Like I said, they were just ideas.

For the KH one, I was actually kind of thinking along the lines of the old Exodus RPs I made (but didn't get to participate in, as they were totally flooded within days...-_-), where everyone was just exploring and having their own little plotlines while Sora was off doing his thing...so, I was deffinitely gonna be like, "NO KEYBLADES FO J00!" But then again, I wasn't thinking of the Inferno...that bit does make sense. I guess that since the Inferno doesn't really work for me that I just don't remember to think of it. XD

And the Hogwarts one...well, I'll be honest in saying that I hadn't thought about it too much, it was just a spur-of-the-moment sort of deal. I'm sure that it'd be a lot of work and it's probably just my "OMG, THE LAST BOOK COMES OUT IN TWO DAYS" speaking. I don't know. I've been in something like it before, where the whole site was dedicated to the RP, and it was really cool, but I know that a lot of work was put into it.

Anyways, like I said, I was just throwing ideas out there and I wasn't really going to act on them unless I got a lot of support, so...but you know, if YOU have ideas, please share them. <3

Well why not a Kingdom Hearts RP with Disney and Original-Made Worlds?

I've got..ok ONE original made-world..but it's nearly finished, with the history, etc. Let Sora run around to god knows where and tie some lose ends together for a plot, and have a small percent of the plot be done as you go along throughout the RP.

Eh I dunno, just throwing my five cents in there..if only I had a nickel..that was shiny..

How exactly does one go about posting an RP? Do we need to get permission from the mods or something or just post it, because I had an idea for a Silent Hill RP, got the idea from playing the third game and watching the movie... all in the same weekend

I knows this isn't a suggestion, but I just wanted to say something. You guys moved the rps back to normal, but some of the posts aren't back in the rp....So yeah, do we have to do that all over again...Or can you bring them back?

Definitely check the annoucements for that.

And, just so everyone knows: we can't do anything to fix it. I'm REALLY sorry that we can't and I wish there was something that could be done, but all of the RPs are going to have to figure out what got deleted on their own. [If anyone saved the page(s) that had posts deleted, then that'll be probably the greatest thing for something like that. If not, summaries work, too.]

Here's a Rp idea of mine... two people say they want it and I'm making it.

The world of humans now droughted by a endless winter, few survive. The world has become better enviroment wise but ten times worse industrialism wise. The few that have lived after this endless winter survive in small villages not unlike ones in the fifteenth century, but with slightly more advanced technology. One in every five hundred humans has special talents and are branded by the rest of the world as "Lyrics." These Lyrics have abilities originating from constellations such as Lupus, Cancer and even Telescopium. Lyrics are ridiculed by most humans as they are "Those damn monsters that caused Fimbulwinter." Althought this is completely false many humans tend to believe it. However the true monsters have began leaking through the outside world and getting closer and closer to towns everyday. They come in many forms, most as mutated animals or humans but some... some entirely demonic creatures that spawn from the humans that died in Fimbulwinter. These atacks aren't just random monsters though, not at all. The creatures are commanded by some invisible force. Some say monsters with brains, others undead and some even say it could be humans.

1- Fimbulwinter is the endless winter in norse mythology if you don't know.
2- I'll explain the types of monsters and Lyrics in the RP.
