Default KHI RP Clan System [1.1]

Clan Rankings

Please note that the system for ranking up is now different. Clans will need to spend points in order to rank up to the next level. EG: ClanA is a Club, and want to upgrade to a Group. They have 20 points. They must spend ten points to upgrade to Group, and will have ten points remaining.

If the number of members in the empire falls below 10, they revert to a nation. The Empire will earn 50 points a week automatically.



Points
Please note that all point-gains will be required to be reported to me. Unless they are reported, you will not get the points.
Note that uses for points other then ranking-up will be available

-Member creates an RP - 10 points
-Member joins an RP - 5 point
-RP owned by a clan member finishes* - 25 points
-RP owned by a clan member finishes* with more then three members of that clan active in it - 50 points
-Member defeats another member - 5 points
-Member defeats a non-member- 10 points
-Member wins a tournament - 50 points
-Member creates an inter-clan RP, more then three join - 10 points + 5 for each additional joiner.
-Inter-Clan RP finishes - 50 points
-A clan defeats another clan, refer to point chart*
-GFX Group/Artist creates banner or artwork for clan - 50 points
-Fanfiction writer/member not in clan creates fanfiction based specifically on members of the clan - 50 points

*Note 1 : To be deemed complete an RP must have more then 20 pages, and the majority of this must be IC.

*Note 2 : Clan point chart.

When a clan defeats an opposing clan, the points gained will depend on the level of the other clan relative to the winning clan. If the opposing clan is of the same level (Say, both are Nations) then the points gained will be 50. However, for each level higher the defeated clan is then the winning clan, the points gained will increase by 10. So, a Club defeating an Empire will give a grand total of 140 points...enough for several rank-ups! Of course, the difficulty of victory will increase with the points gained.

However, if the winning clan is of a higher level then the opposing clan, then the points gained will decrease by ten per rank. As such, a nation would recieve no benefit at all from defeating a club.



Clan Functions/Tactics

If one clan defeats another, and both are below the rank of clan, the winning clan automatically ranks-up to clan level, and assimilate the opposing clan.

If a member of the clan defeats the clan leader, in any circumstance, by any means, they assume the position of leader.

If a leader of a clan defeats the leader of an opposing clan, which has more then one leader, that opposing clan is split into two seperate clans. Members will be randomly reassigned between the two clans.



Point Shop
With the introduction of the point shop, no longer are points only used to rank-up your clan. Using your points, you may purchase upgrades, special tactics, and the like here. Items may be purchased only by the clan leader. Items may be used by anyone, but it's advisable to get permission to use them prior to doing so. All items stocked will be kept track of privatly.

Extra Member Slot - 25 Points
This item will allow you to recruit an extra member to your clan. The bonus is cumulative from multiple items, and applies to all clan ranks.

Rebirth - 10 points
Allows a clan member's dead character to be revived.
Note that even if your character has innate abilities that allow him/her to revive, your clan will still be required to pay the points.

Single-Use Only Items

Roadblock - 5 points
May only be used once a battle has begun. No additional enemies may join the battle.

Loyalty - 10 points
The leader of a clan may use this to call a single ally to their side, regardless of circumstances.

Superloyalty - 20 points
The leader of a clan may use this to call up to three allies to their side, regardless of circumstance.

Ambush - 25 points
Using the Ambush tactic, you are permitted to isolate an enemy clan member from his/her clan. All other enemy clan members in the currrent battle are removed, and no new members may join to assist the trapped member. Your clan may have as many members in the battle as you desire. Using this tactic, you can isolate and defeat the leader of an opposing clan easier.

Anti-Magic Field - 10 points
When used, this item will turn the current battle into a melee-only battle.

Gravital Inhibitor - 10 points
When used, this item prevents any and all melee techniques.

Limit Release - 20 points
When used, item will turn the current battle into a PC battle, and cancel the effects of Gravital Inhibitor and Anti-Magic Field.

Energy Trap - 5 points
Triggered when an enemy uses a magical technique. The technique is cancelled.

Dimension Trap - 5 points
Triggered when an enemy uses a physical tecnique. The technique is cancelled.

Timeshift - 10 points
Allows you to edit your own last post after the enemy has posted, preparing yourself to escape or avoid their attack, and possibly preventing death.

Pheonix Feather - 50 points
Revives you after death, mid-battle, allowing you to continue to fight your battle even if defeated.

Oversoul - 50 points
After using this item, the user's body is flooded with power, making them nigh-upon-godlike. However, the intense energy will decay their body at a rapid rate, and within 5 posts, their character will die. The enemy cannot defend physical attacks whilst you are using Oversoul.

Break Canceller - 25 points
Allows you to cancel the activation of an enemy point item.

Break Destruction - 25 points
Allow you to destroy one of an enemy clan's stocked items. You must specify which Item you wish to destroy. If they have none of that item stocked, your points are wasted. Covers single-use items only.

Equipment
Dark Light Crystal fragment - 150 points
A shard of Makyu's fabled Dark Light crystal, it allows the user to channel the spirits flowing to hell through their own body, providing a massive boost in power.

Soul Breaker - 150 points
A Soul Gem created by the Necromancer Zetsumi, it can unleash powerful necromantic enchantments, and also functions as a Pheonix Feather item that can be used multiple times, though only once per battle.

Pandora's Box - 150 points
When used, the Box allows the user to call upon the spirits of the seven deadly sins to assist them in battle. This will not manifest the sins themselves, merely give the character the ability to use their powers. Only one Sin can be intertrated with a character at once, but they can also be imbued to weapons, ect.


Platinum Heart - 150 points
A keyblade that allows the user to summon almost any Disney, FF, or anime character to their aid, or assume the abilities of said characters.



Quests
Quests will be issued to clans from the moment they register, either consequetivly, or on request. Quests can take the form of almost anything, and do not necessarily have to be related to RP.

Quests will yeild a variety of rewards depending on each individual quest. It can be anything from points to items, even to rank-ups. Rewards may be stated at the start of the quest, or they may be hidden. Remember, simply because a reward is hidden from you, does not mean it is a good one. It may well be something as simple as 5 points. Your clan will have to weigh up the risks versus rewards.

If you are being given quests consequetivly, you may withdraw from them without any penalty, but opting not to take a quest you've requested will carry a penalty of five points.

In addition to this, a large number of your quests will be private. Unless it is listed as a public quest, you should keep all details of the quest itself within your own clan. If a member of another clan can explain the goals of your quest to me, then that clan will then steal 20 point from your clan! Your quest will also be forfeit. As such, it's wise to try and find out about the quests of enemy clans.

Hmm... I think some of the rankings could be changed, like Institution... Syndicate sounds way cooler.

Also, what's the point of splitting clans with two or more leaders? They have to start all over again? Evil. xD

The point of that is that, this way, clans can knock their opponants back down a notch or two for a temporary advantage. Also, it encourages more clans of smaller numbers, instead of the all-encompassing empire and one or two rivals we currently have.

Will individual members have their own points, like with the class charter? Only leaders can purchase the one-use items, but can individual members purchase equipment for themselves? Or will that be introduced with KHIBRPG?

Every time I hear that designation, I shudder uncontrollably...
I really should come up with a better name for it.

Yeah, if -it- dosn't turn out like I'd hoped, I'll revamp the class charter and include personal items anyway.

Obviously they won't be near as powerful as the Relics listed in equip here, but the majority of them will be in the same vein.
