It was only two years ago that Sora and Riku defeated Xemnas, in the end defeating all of the Organization members. It was only when they returned home that trouble started once again. "Look." Kairi said, showing the two boys a message in a bottle. The emblem on it. "The king!?" Sora exclaimed as he snatched the bottle out of Kairi's grasp and pulled out the letter with a rush of excitement. The threesome gazed at the letter with excitement, each gaining different expressions as their eyes gazed at it even more. Sora - There's trouble brewin' once again and I need you to get on the train to Twilight Town as soon as you can. It looks like the Organization is gone for good yet... Signed, King Mickey Sora just stared blankily at the letter, going over the words with his deep blue eyes about four or five times before he took it in. "Looks like you're not done being the keyblade master yet," Riku stated through the silence while Sora let out a groan. "But why do I have to go?" What happened next, no one knows. Sora disappeared and King Mickey left Disney Castle just after he was gone. Maybe, it was just a plot. Even if it was, there was still no explaining as to why Roxas was back. Rep Power: 12 ![]() | (( Hehe... *evil grin* I told you I could make you... OHO, I'm gewd >D )) "But that, my dear children, is called cannibalism and is frowned upon in most societies." Name: Raynie "Lockedheart" Strife Age: 15 Gender: Female Side: Good Heart: Light Weapon: Promise Whisper. A pair of fingerless fighting gloves, one of many but one of her favorite to use. They're entirely black in color, all except for the silver broken heart design on each upper-knuckle. Homeworld: Traverse Town Appearance: Raynie has shoulder length dark brown hair with blonde tips and one streak Running along the right side of her head near her face. She has mako-blue eyes and a slight pale complexion, her body build is regular really. Except for the fact that she does have some muscle one both arms, though not very visible. She wears an outfit completely made out of a soft black material. a black tank top with a zipper running verticaly in front of it. Along with a pair of black baggy pants and a half matching apron around her waist. A pair of black combat boots, a wolf symbol, similar to her dad's, on both sides of the boots. On her left shoulder she wears a silver shoulder guard, a long black fabric cascading down from it, covering her entire left arm. She also wears black gloves and a silver chained necklace with a tear drop pendant hanging off of it. On both ears she has a piercing on each, a small silver hoop on her right, while her left was adorned with a tiger shaped stud. (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/25984490/ (( Click to see howher outfit looks like Warning: You steal that piccy... You die... D< )) Personality: She has a pretty upbeat attitude and very talkative, which can sometimes be annoying. Raynie can get real cocky in battle and hardheaded many times on and off battle. Her whole thing is acting tough and never showing her real emotions on the inside. Basically always wearing a 'mask' so as to not let others worry for her, also due to the fact she hates sympathy from anyone. Bio: Raynie was raised in the busy and almost forgotten city of Midgar. Despite it’s past, she loves being there, and even if there have been many hardships along the way in the main city of the Planet. She was taken into care by the Planet’s Hero, Cloud Strife and eventually Tifa Lockheart as well, though she thought of Cloud as more of a Father figure to her and Tifa as a best friend or Sister at most. But before she ever made a presence in Midgar, she originally spent her days, years, in the labs of the Shinra Electric Company. Naming itself an ‘electric company’ as a ploy to hide its true intentions. Herself and three more, all of which were silver-haired and looked almost identical if it wasn’t for their different facial appearances. Raynie was an experiment, having stayed the same age for years along with the other three men that she grew to know. But those memories were hardly there anymore, as if they were erased, starting a new life for her, masking the past with shattered images in her mind. The only one she could remember was the youngest of the three, shoulder-length silver hair and piercing Mako eyes, that she remembered would make her shudder or sent shivers down her spine everytime she gazed at them. Kadaj… Raynie soon pushed those fragment of memories away, all except for Kadaj whom she was determined to find one day. As she aged, her body did not, nobody, not even herself, knows her exact age really. But as long as she had that appearance, she stuck with it, her mentality and personality sticking to that of a fifteen year old, unintentionally. But no one else knew, except her. As she kept going on her days in Midgar, she soon learned how to fight with Tifa’s training… After of course some pleading and bowing, all out of humor as Raynie so put it. At the same time she built a rivalry with the ‘Great Ninja’ Yuffie Kisaragi, both of them going at each others necks everyday. Years passed, Raynie going off on her own now, disappearing for several days at a time before returning back to Midgar and to her adoptive Father after some Materia hunting or racing with Yuffie to see who could find the most Materia. Unfortunately, one day she never returned. She had gone off to the real Forgotten City of the Planet, straying off from her usual path and into the enigmatic path that laid before her. Anything after that, she couldn’t remember, waking up in a ‘topsy-turvy’ town… Traverse Town. She met up with the Gunblader and surprisingly and much to her luck, the ‘Great Ninja’ as well. Yet, she knew her, it seemed the Ninja did not know her back. Raynie disregarded it, eventually turning Traverse town into her makeshift home till she got back to Midgar. She stayed with Leon and Yuffie, helping them out here and there. Leaning about the Keyblade Master and the Keyblade itself as well, making her mission to find this Keyblader. Though she mostly took up the challenge to impress Leon due to her crush on him and out of finally putting down that stupid Ninja girl. Raynie was certainly one hell of a Alice stuck in ‘Wonderland’. | Vampire Fish | Name: Calista Koigokoro Age: 15 Gender: Female Heart: Dark Side: Neutral Weapon: Angel's Deception: A keyblade with the power to pull out the soul of it's victim, it is especially useful for controlling the Heartless. Personality: Calista is a peppy, hyper, pouty teenage girl with the tendency to become emotionally attached to the people around her. She can become slightly envious, though she puts other's well being before her own. The teenager is the epitome of innocence at first glance with her large eyes and long hair, but when you get close to her you will she she's the type who doesn't think before she acts, by pushing others out of the way to take the blow herself. Cal tends to keep her troubles bottled up inside of her, and her traumatizing memories locked up tight. Appearance: Calista used to have long brunette hair the color of chestnut, but recently her hair has taken a lavender color and become lighter and softer than usual. Her eyes which used to be russet pools of molten amber are now lilac orbs that sparkle in the light. Her odd hair and eye color make people blink in confusion, but she feels comfortable with the new features as if they were a missing piece of her. Cal is very sensitive about her short stature, and will flare up at anyone who mocks her height. She is petite and pretty, but she doesn't care about her looks, instead she only focuses on her goals and the people around her. She wears a black tanktop, black jeans with a chain hanging from the pocket bearing a crystillian feather. She wears platform black and white shoes on her feet, and is never seen without her necklace. This necklace, The Heart of Twilight, is a very important trinket to Calista for whatever reason. It is an unusually large garnet carved in to the shape of a heart, encircled with chained crystillian wings. Bio: Calista was found by Axel when she was a mere five year old child in the middle of a grassy feild. Apparently her 'father' had tried to kill her without a care. She cannot remember exactly where she came from, but knows that someone had tried to kill her. Axel had found her beside a blazing hot meteorite, but did not consider she was from another world. Axel took her to Castle Oblivion where he introduced her to Namine, the memory witch. She developed close ties with both Namine and Axel, but took to Axel as if he were her father. He was the only parental figure she knew, so she clinged to him like a baby. However, due to her 'abnormality' the members of Organization XIII treated her like garbage. Vexen conducted painful and traumatizing experiments on her, Zexion mentally tortured her, Marluxia and Lexeaus beat her, and Larxene used her sharp tongue to hurt her. Axel could not stand it anymore, so he smuggled her out of Castle Oblivion and left the Organization even though he was risking his life. Since then, Axel and Calista have traveled searching for some way to regain Calista's memories and kill the person that abandoned her and left her for death. On the contrary, Calista is never alone. A creature dyed in sin lives within her body and shares her conscious. Dark Calista, the Heartless within is a seperate being than Calista, but is evil, cruel, abusive, and loves nothing more than to cause Calista pain. Dark Calista is the reason that Cal was treated like a monster her whole life. When she takes over, she claims thousands of lives, even worlds. She is known as the 'Noctin Tilandir' The Child of Darkness. She is a bloodthirsty creature with immense power, and her phosphorus eyes have been claimed to steal part of a person's soul. Calista has the ability to control and summon Heartless from Kingdom Hearts. The Heartless treat her as one of their own, and see her as their kin. Her one of a kind Heartless, Hari, is Calista's gaurdian and never leaves her side. Lately, Calista has been receiving memory flashes of her past life. Images of two beings with wings, and her Heart of Twilight seems to tie in to the mix. She feels a certain flood of comfort whenever she clasps the garnet, but is still overly curious about her memories, and wants revenge more than anything. ((Should I write Axel's?)) |

Rep Power: 11 ![]() ![]() ![]() | You can write his if you want but it doesn't matter. -shrug- ...-randomly puts up bio- :X Name: Takushi Rena Age: 13 Gender: Female Heart: Twilight Side: Light Weapon: Platinum Heart keyblade; A basic looking keyblade that looks almost identical to the Kingdom Key. The blade is silver and the frame is blue, while a crown shaped chain hangs from the end of the weapon. Its sometimes called the "Key of Nobody", from what she can tell from hearing Nobodies talk, and it has the power to lock and unlock keyholes but seems to have serious consequences if it locks anything. It can talk in Rena's mind sometimes, acting as if its toying with her and trying to get her to take on tasks. What is this thing anyways? Personality: Even though she's simple-minded at times, Rena has a strong sense of justice yet she'll do anything for her friends or anyone she cares about, even if it means joining the wrong side. She's stubborn and when she pouts, she acts like a little kid. She can get angry easily, though, but normally keeps a smile on her face and tries to get everyone else to do the same. The tomboy is naive and curious, taking off running as soon as a thought pops into her mind which lands her into loads of trouble. Appearance: Rena wears a navy blue vest with a black hood and armor on her shoulders. White, navy blue tipped t-shirt sleeves connect with her vest and a sleeveless white shirt is worn underneath her vest. She wears a pair of black, fingerless gloves (Which look like Sora's KH1 gloves) and a royal blue belt hangs loosely around her waist. A chain connects to her baggy blue jeans and a pair of black, oversized tennis rest on her feet. The tomboy has messy brown hair with bangs that fall over her eyes so, most of the time, only one eye is visible. Her eyes are deep blue while her skin is somewhat pale. She's also kind of short, almost like a kid, so she has to look up at everyone. Bio: Most things known to Rena are basically just mysteries and when she asks questions, she never gets a straight answer. Rena is known as number zero to a few Organization members, for an enigmatic reason. Only they know why, and they aren't telling anything anytime soon. And there are hundreds of memories that she watches in her mind, no sure which ones are real and fake. A few of them make her curious, though. A set of memories where she wears clothes that looked like they were a boy's clothes, along with giant yellow shoes, and a pair of black cloaked figures who she considered friends or maybe even family. The tomboy's lived on Cucio Bay for as long as she could remember, waking up on the once sunny shores of the bayside town. But, it was only after her arrival that a strange thing happened: The town was literally turned into a grey, pale, empty city after kids played a deadly game of hide-and-seek. Though it was grainy, she remembered fire yet sometimes she remembered just plain darkness, shadows crawling out of the ground and hunting for prey. The only light was from the little balls of light that floated up towards the black sky and disappeared. That was the last and only day that the town was normal. The next day, there was just grey; the sand was grey, the buildings were grey, the sky was grey, and the sea was grey. The only people that remained were people who went and hid from the shadows except for Rena. She saw the whole nightmare and almost lost her heart because of it. The only thing she cried as her hands were pulled tightly over her head was, "I'm sorry... I don't have it... I promise..." That seemed like a distant dream now, when it was only three years ago. Rena survived around the town, snatching food and sleeping on the rooftops which she called home. She had no clue how to fight but she wielded a old metal pipe just in case she had to knock someone over the head. The night before the final attack on the town, a weird trial played in her sleep and she fought with a sword against shadows and sleek, silver creatures baring familiar symbols on their heads. Static-y memories played in her mind as well: ones with a boy and a girl on their island home. After every dream, a voice would ask 'Do you remember?' What she was supposed to remember, she could careless because there were too many weird things happening at the time. There was another attack by the shadows on Cucio Bay, where Rena gained a mysterious key shaped weapon and disappeared from her home. Though she hated the place, she misses it a lot. She'll do anything to get it back but first, she just has to find out where she is along with who "Sora" is. Theme Song: Treasured Memories by Yoko Shimomura Its short, I know. D: Alright-y... -rubs hands together- We'll start once we get... two or three more peoples. :0 Last edited by Takushi Rena; 04/29/06 at 08:36 AM. |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | (("There they are, standing in the road!" o.o Says teh Pickle. =D *munches cookie* Name: Dione "Hollow" Sebastion. Age: 19 Gender: Male Heart: Darkness Side: He fights for himself, making allies if he finds someone worthy. Element: N/a. Ranking: N/a. Weapon: The Soul Blade: Obsidian Flash. Truly a manifestation of the soul into a blade, Hollow's weapon was formed when he decided long ago to abandon the Keyblade offered to him. Despising all keyblades, he threw the power away almost immediately when it was given to him. When he did, a new blade, long, with a black hilt, silver blade, and two conjoined, sharp, ebony blades (one on each side, and slightly smaller than the silver one in the center), formed in his hand. It was wrapped with bandages, and chains dripped off of it when he swung it. A golden-yellow eye pulsed in the hilt, the eye of a heartless. Also, Hollow can secret a nasty poison from his hands. Though this feeds to his most noticeable weakness: Dehydration. Carrying a lot of water helps Hollow. Heartless are formed from his tears, and Nobodies are from his blood. The Soul Blade sucks out some energy, so Hollow MUST carry water to prevent dehydration. Had to have a weakness SOMEWHERE! XD Personality: Hollow is a detatched bystander who knows how to hold his own in battle. He has no problem with killing, and he usually doesn't show a change in emotion before he strikes. Still, he won't kill without a reason, but he enjoys it when he does. When he's not fighting, he keeps away from others. The boy is the silent type, not speaking unless spoken to--if he's bored, though, he might stir up a little trouble. Hollow is tired of persecution for what and who he is, though he tried to ignore it whenever it arose. If Hollow has another weakness, it's that he won't let himself love. The only things he has affection for are Heartless. He despises Nobodies, thinking of them as his biggest mistake. Appearance: http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...0/ace95615.jpg <--If that link doesn't work, just look at GoH's post below. Flam, this is the third time I've changed the stupid thing. Hollow's eyes are a piercing yellow, and his pale skin makes them look even brighter. His arms are long (pic's proprotions are off by a LOT, coloured by GuardianOfHearts, btw) and jagged. The black claws at the end resemble a Neoshadow's. He also has long, pointed, black ears, and his eye teeth are slightly more fanged than others'. He's tall and wears baggy clothes, mostly in shades of charcoal, dark gray, and pitch black (As not shown in pic). He usually has an expressionless face, though he always has room to glare at an annoying person. Hollow's hair is pitch black, he has dark rings under his eyes, and he tends to have bad posture. Bio: Hollow was born as a normal child, with no special traits. Orphaned in the Radient Garden, he was found by Ansem the Wise, and the blonde man took the boy in. Hollow's hair had been shockingly white, and his eyes had been an icy blue. When he was brought home with Ansem, he was just under a year old. Ansem had six assistants, and Xehanort wasn't pleased with Hollow. Needing a human test subject, the six stole Hollow from Ansem, telling him the boy was sick for awhile, though they were really conducting experiments on him. They succeeded in bringing out the darkness in the baby's heart, multiplying it until it was massive, destroying the light inside. Hollow's arms, ears, eyes, and hair changed. He became what he is now. Still, he was just a year old. When the six showed Ansem their work, they kept Hollow a secret. Expecting Ansem to be pleased with their work, they were shocked and angry when their superior told them to burn the research. They still obeyed Ansem. They burned everything--except Hollow. The assistants dropped Hollow off on Halloween Town, where he was accepted by the Villagers until he was four. The Assistants had told Ansem that Hollow ran away--he'd never believed it. Hollow was four when Ansem found him. They went back to the assistants, where Hollow's powers turned them into Nobodies. This was when Ansem discovered what the assistants already knew. Hollow could create Heartless through his tears. Nobodies were his blood. The assistants were angry, (big shocker) when they were turned into Nobodies--to get back at Hollow, they told him that Ansem was dying. Instantly, to try and save him, Hollow turned his adoptive father into a Nobody, too. Then, the assistants wiped his memories, throwing him back into Halloween Town. This time, Ansem didn't come back for him. Hollow was a teen when the Organization found him and took him to Castle Oblivion. There, he created Roxas and Namine, and Sora wiped out half of the Organization's members. Hollow hated Sora, though he wasn't sure why. Finally, Hollow escaped the Organization's control, the last time they tried to execute him. The people of Radient Garden had demanded his death. It had been a year after Sora had stepped into the rosepod to retrieve his memories. Radient Garden had been restored, Hollow escaped the execution, and he was free to create all the Heartless he wanted. Then, the last of the Organization was defeated by Sora. Hollow hated him for it. The Nobodies were Hollow's fault, so they were his burden to bear. He didn't want help from Sora. Then, Sora got his letter. Hollow knew the journey wasn't over. Now he's trying to piece the puzzle together, wondering what the future holds for him. I'm off for tonight, though. XP Sorruh, but it's REAL late over here.)) The handle is gold with rounded edges and a silver blade that ends in the outline of a heart. The keychain is an orichalcum swirled heart. This Keyblade cannot seal the core to any world, but rather works in the locking and unlocking of other's hearts. It can open up the Darkness within, or lead someone who has fallen into shadow back into the Light, among other things. It is overall very mysterious, and very dangerous. Ame herself does not know the extent of its boundaries, and she may never know. Personality: Ame is best defined as contradicting. Despite her childishly playful and endlessly optimistic nature, she is a serious thinker who will often ask others to stop and consider even if she herself impulsively rushes into things sometimes. She will not hesitate to help someone, but is far from naive, always wary and suspicious, if not in deed than in thought. Other than her slight daredevil tendancies, Ame's worst fault is always blaming herself, which can lead to dangerous actions on her part. Appearance: Ame's height is nothing to boast about, but she's quick if not imposing. Her hands and feet are small and deft, and she's stronger than she looks, though far from the most powerful around. Color at first seems to evade her; she is very pale and her most noticeable feature are her dark grey eyes, which on closer inspection hold hints of dark blue in them. To make up for her initial lack of color, she has very red hair, fairly long and slightly wavy. She wears a simple white shirt with three-quarter sleeves, pale blue pants, and a grey silk scarf tied around her waist. On her hands are darker blue fingerless gloves with silver markings. On her feet are worn-out teal sneakers and on her neck is a smaller black scarf. For trivia, her attire reflects the colors of her original home. Bio: Ame grew up in Dawn City, a beach-side metropolis that was the opposite of Twilight Town. Over a sea of dark grey-green waves, the sun always remained just below the horizon, never fully rising. The sky was a dim azure, usually cloudy and always with an eternal fringe of pale white light on the skyline. The city itself consisted of buildings made of dark blue glass and white brick, bording a white-sanded shore with glassy cobalt pebbles. {Credit to teh Pickle} Ame loved it there but always wanted to explore. Of course, there was no way of getting off the world without the aid of a gummi, which she did not have and could not pilot anyway. Her dream when she got old enough was to buy her way out or, as a last resort, build her own vessel and visit other worlds. But that dream was never to be fulfilled. One day, while walking down the beach, she saw the opening to a cave in the cliffs which she had never seen before. Puzzled and wary, her curiosity got the better of her and she ventured through. Inside, the cavern was lit with a faint cerulean illumination, which seemed to stem from an odd white-and-blue glass door at the end. It had no handled, no hinges of any kind. Even more intrigued than before, Ame proceeded to the door, not knowing that she had found Dawn City's Keyhole. Despite the fact that it was seamless, it nevertheless opened at her touch, pulling her through. The door closed behind her, and she was trapped in darkness. As she stepped forward, the darkness dissipated to reveal that she was standing on a platform of stained glass in the pattern of swirled hearts. In her hand appeared the shaft of bamboo she had always used to practice sparring with at home. She was forced to confront several Neo Shadows as they rose up from under her feet, swarming her. After she was done though, the glass shattered and she blanked out momentarily, arriving on another platform. This time, she faced a full-length mirror that hung suspended in mid-air, which, when she looked through it, showed the reflection of her heart burning in her chest. As she watched, the fire waxed and waned, before a shadowy Heartless hand covered the flame and extinguished it. Crying out, Ame reached toward the looking glass without even thinking and was shocked to see her hand slip through it like water. Unsure as to whether or not her heart had actually been stolen, she plunged through the glass entirely and ended up on yet another platform. Instead of a mirror, her heart now burned strongly, hovering in mid-air. She held it in her hand and the illusion disappeared, yet left a keychain in the shape of a silver swirled heart in her palm. Suddenly, the illuminating light was cut off as shadows swept up upon the platform. Emerging from the black was a Darkside. From the keychain Ame held, a Keyblade materialized in her hand, with a gold handle and a silver blade that ended in the outline of a heart. It was with this that she fought the Heartless, yet in the end, it defeated her. As darkness began to eclipse the entire area, she heard a voice telling her that she would "dive into the heart". It was then that she closed her eyes, believing that she would meet her end here. Yet when she awoke, she was lying in the middle of Traverse Town's Third District, keychain in hand. Dazed, confused, and petulantly annoyed, Ame pestered the citizens until she had all the information she needed- except, of course, how and why she had come here and how to get home. Having a little munny with her, she rented out the Blue Room in the Hotel, not expecting to stay there long. Yet weeks have passed and she still remains in the bustling town, earning her keep in the Hotel by paying with munny gained from defeated Heartless. Though slowly adjusting to life in Traverse Town, Ame keeps to herself, catching news by way of overhearing gossip- often about the enigmatic Organization and the lesser Nobodies. She spends a lot of her time watching the bright nighttime stars she had never before been able to see, wondering what the heck she is going to do with herself and the weirdo hunk of metal she has accepted as her mysterious weapon. Rep Power: 11 ![]() ![]() ![]() | [-ish tackled- ZOMG YAY! :0 ...KS came back. -glomps- :3 Um... I thinks we got enough peoples... -glances at PMs- ^^;; -crosses fingers- Please be long! ><;] The bright speaks of light twinkled brightly in the midnight blue sky, yet only one of which had gone out moments ago. The tomboy stared up at the sky, a frown nor a smile on her face as she watched the stars shimmer. It was only until that one star blinked out, as if it was a candle flame, that a frown curled onto her pale lips as she sat quietly on the steps. How long ago was that? Glancing at her fingers, Rena started to count which made her confused more than anything. "Ichi... ni... no, wait... one... two..." A cross between a groan and a whimper escaped her mouth and she rubbed her head with her gloved hands. 'Its not THAT hard to count, ya know!' she mentally bullied herself, letting out a sigh as soon as the words faded away. But, how long ago was it? Or what exactly happened there? There was a huge gust of wind and everything was sucked up into that giant black orb thing... And she was sucked up too! Plus, there was that 'keyblade' thing but, who knows where it was now; it couldn't have been her's, though. It was someone else's, it had to be! Rena shook her head lightly in her attempt to keep random pieces of hair out of her face before looking up at the sky once again. If she had been glancing around at her surroundings, there would be lots of bricks: the stairs were bricks, the walls were bricks, maybe even the lamp posts were bricks! Only a few lamp posts lingered around this part of the town but, behind the entryway were two shops. One of those shops read "Accessory Shop" in big, bold neon letters while the other had a sign down by it's front door, graffiti pictures covering a wall by the back door. A sort of cafe sat down below, near that item shop's front door, but the only problem was the fact that it was empty except for the candles that lit it. What was this place, anyways? "So," she started out, giving a nervous laugh and a grin as she questioned the air, "Where am I again?" |

| Vampire Fish | "Could you possibly TAKE any longer!?" Axel exclaimed in a moody fashion as he tapped his black boot impatiently. "If it bothers you then you could help me." A hyper voice to the lower right of the redhead informed him. Emitting a grumble of frustration Axel kneeled down and yanked Calista's platform shoe in to his grasp, "You can't even tie your own shoes...What would you do without me!?" Calista rollwed her lilac eyes, "I can so tie my shoes, but you Axey-kun do not have the patience to wait." Axel twitched and muttered, "Don't call me that in public..." The teenage girl clapped her hand to her mouth and comically exclaimed,"Is Axel blushing!? I think he is!" Due to that comment, Axel tied her shoe a little tighter than usual "Let's go, Noctin." As Calista got to her feet, a soft 'mew' sounded from her left and something leapt in to her arms. "You, ready Hari?"She asked the tiny fox kit within her grasp. The fox, Hari, wagged its two black tails and blinked it's saphire blue eyes in agreement. "Cal.' Axel said in an unhappy fashion to the front. "Yes, Ax-kun?" She curiously questioned. "Get. It. Off. Me." He shortly said as he sounded out each syllable. The girl looked up to the crown of Axel's head to spot a Shadow sitting in Axel's flaming red hair. "Aw, Axel is a grumpy little hedgehog." She cooed as she pulled the rowdy Shadow off of Axel and placed it on her shoulder. Axel continued steaming as they walked down the streets of Traverse Town, looking for something. |

| Darkrooms and safelights | In the Blue Room of the Traverse Town's Hotel, Ame lay curled up on her navy-colored bed, one hand wrapped around her pillow as she restlessly tossed and turned, her sleep punctured by fragments of strange dreams- or were they memories? Shadows shifted across her vision, twisting into color to form a scene that played before her eyes. A silver-haired boy with bright teal eyes and a dark appearance stood in a great hall, everything narrowed down to the black weapon he had in his hands. One that ended in the outline of a heart, exactly like her own.... She caught the glimpse of a boy around his age with spikey brown hair and a look of horror and betrayal on his face. Who were they? She had never seen them before ... this had to be just a product of her imagination, but why did it all seem so lucid? The silver-haired boy spoke, in a voice that couldn't possibly be his own. "A Keyblade. But unlike yours, this Keyblade holds the power to unlock people's hearts-" The scene dissipated abruptly, clouding over to bring forth a new one. This had to be a memory, for Ame could see herself now, sitting atop the craggy cliffs by Dawn City's shore and looking out over the ocean, something she had done the day before she was taken to Traverse Town. But the vision flickered to widen the vista, and for the first time she saw that behind her, a tall figure in a black coat stood silently watching the red-haired girl- even though their face was completely hooded, the enigma's gaze seemed to pierce the space between them. The memory of her stood up, brushing dirt off her pants and turning around, a moment too late to see her cloaked follower disappear into a shadowy portal. The scene blurred again, once again showing something Ame had never seen before- or had she? It was the Third District, empty save for the motionless figure sprawled on the ground in the middle of the area, red hair fanning over her face. Herself, the day she arrived in this world, but during the period of time when she had not yet regained consciousness. Dark energy flared up from the ground a few feet away, and two people cloaked entirely in black emerged, though whether one of them was the same enigma from the memory before, it was hard to say. The figures approached the girl, standing above her just inches away from the bright keychain that glimmered under her half-clenched fingers. "Little lost Key-wielder of hearts," a low, undecided voice said, speech pale with lack of emotion. "Does she yet know what she can unlock?" "Either way, she will surely be of use," the other said quietly. The sound of a heavy door creaking was heard from above the steps, and the cloaked companions glanced up before silmultaniously fading back through their dark portals. Ame's memory-self stirred, sitting up dazedly as the vision darkened again, this time leaving nothing but black. Yet from the abyss, deathly-white figures, far too lithe to be human, slunk through the shadow and leapt at her, knife-like arms inches from slicing her skin- Amaranth snapped open her eyes, still shaking from her dream as she sat up in bed. She cradled her auburn head in her hands, sighing as she fought to keep hold of the many scattered visions sleep had given her. Memories ... ? Of someone with a weapon just like hers ... a "Keyblade"? And the cloaked figures that had been following her- what did they want? Had that all actually happened? Maybe she was just loosing it. Smiling wryly at that last thought, the grey-eyed girl pushed herself off the bed and let her feet touch the floor, which was nothing but darkness in the eternal midnight of this world. She traipsed warily to the other end of the room, for all her caution still managing to slam herself into her dresser before she irritably stumbled her way to the other side and flicked on the light. The room she now called home certainly lived up to its name- her walls were a soft blue, with dark blue furniture, a pale blue rug on the floor, and a navy-blue comforter with a pattern of waves on the bed. Paintings of dolphins and other sea-life hung from the walls, besides blue-shaded lamps. Ame always thought of the hotel owner to be a little ... neurotic. Grabbing her silver-gold keychain from atop the dresser that had just given her a new bruise, the Keyblader pocketed the trinket and walked outside to her balcony, sitting on the ledge and staring up at the sky. It was strange, seeing stars, and she never got tired of it. In Dawn City, the only stars you could see were the few faint, silvery ones endlessly fading on the azure horizon. Here, the stars burned a holy white across the velvet black of the night she had only read about in storybooks before. It certainly took some getting used to. Resigned to the fact that she wasn't going to get anymore sleep, Ame returned inside and made her way out to the hallway, and from there, the Second District. She strolled idly towards the great wooden doors, thinking of stopping by the cafe or restocking on her battle supplies. But after that ... then what? The thrill of being in another world had by now worn off, and she was now ready for something, anything to happen. Some sign that she had a destiny other than getting stranded in worlds were she was ripped off for a hotel room. {It's on, Pickle. OH IT'S SO ON.} Last edited by GuardianOfHearts; 05/10/06 at 06:26 PM. |

Rep Power: 12 ![]() | (( Aww, the group ish back :3 I propose a group hug D:... Or not <w< Oh and, hope yas dun mind I steal Leon and Yuffie for a bit... >3 Also updated my bio x3 )) Over the midst of argument and apparently objects being thrown here and there past him, he gave a long heaved sigh. Keeping his eyes shut as he tried to block out the two girls that were boldly attempting to kill each other with glares… And various other things as well. His gloved hands were crossed over his chest, clashing along with the necklace around his neck, whose lion pendant hung on the thick chain. He strongly resisted the urge to just knock them both with his Gunblade and go on with the mission by himself, but he knew he couldn’t handle the dangers by himself, and plus, it would take far too long anyway. Not like this is taking time either. He thought to himself sarcastically, opening his eyes as he stared at the two who were know locked in each others arms, trying to give the other a ‘noogie’ of death. “I’llish… Beash youff, juph yourff waaaatch!” “Baaakaaaff Ningaff Gurl!” Their words were all muffled and distorted due to their faces being contorted in the so-called attack. “Alright. Enough.” It seemed that at the older man’s voice, both stopped their dispute and immediately unlocked their arms with several curses, standing straight like a soldier as they faced the Gunblader. The girl on the right, apparently being the youngest, at least in appearance anyway, was clad in a mix of yellow and black with a broad grin on her face as she hid a shuriken in her hand that was meant for the girl beside her. This one was only clad in black, with just a hint of white here and there but not much, holding a more serious face with her arms crossed. “What do yas want us to do, Squallie-kun?” the short black-haired girl asked, receiving a glare from the other girl. That little… she stole my nickname for him! I’ll get you yet… Raynie squinted her eyes in anger and jealousy. “Both of you will go and find the Keyblader. I have a feeling he’s around Traverse Town, not sure though but it’s worth a try.” Leon replied, on the sidenote he wondered how in the world he dealed with these two, maybe he had the patience of a Saint but he highly doubted that. Raynie gave a smirk, zooming over to Leon’s side with a cat-like expression on her face as she looked up at him. “Oh-kay doh-kay, Squallie-kun! Just you watch, I’ll find her before that baka Ninja does!” she exclaimed with great determination. A small sweatdrop fell down the side of Leon’s face, “You do realize… Yuffie already left.” He pointed to the smoke that was left behind by the Ninja’s speed and the laughter that followed it. The black-clothed girl’s jaw dropped in surprise and oh so many other emotions. Her eyes flashed a dark red for a moment before returning to their normal Mako-blue hue. Leon was about to add something else, but it was far too late as Raynie had already taken off, shouting a string of curses as she zoomed past the Hotel and into the Second Destrict of Traverse Town. “They’re going to be the death of me.” He muttered to himself as he calmly took off in another direction. | Darkrooms and safelights | Strolling down past the Hotel, feeling slightly sullen {*kills alliterations. o.<}, Ame took her keychain out of her pocket and paused to study it, sparkling in the glow of the neon signs and distant starlight. It always felt warm, and strangely comforting. Yet it was a source of endless frustration to her, seeing that she knew next to nothing about it. Only that she could fight Heartless with her weapon- the ... Keyblade. If her dreams really meant anything, anyway. Her musings were cut off as a girl dressed in black rushed past her, little more than a blur in her haste. Ame watched her run off, thinking about Traverse Town in general. That’s the way it was here. Someone was always doing something. It didn’t help that there was really no set time, so people were pretty irregular. In particular, refugees seemed to have a hard time adjusting to a world were it was always night, but the redhead had little qualms about that. She had certainly lived with a similar aspect in Dawn City long enough. Forcing herself out of her melancholy, she hummed softly and continued her merry walk down the street, which was currently empty. But not for long. Darkness eclipsed several spaces in the ground, and Heartless rose from those depths, with airborne companions appearing in flashes of black above them. Several Soldiers and two Wyverns had decided to break the current peace and quiet. Stepping slowly back to a wall, body tensed, Ame flipped her keychain up and summoned her Keyblade, catching the gold handle as it materialized. Without waiting for her enemies to make the first move, she lunged forward and caught one of the armor-plated Heartless in the side, bashing it to the ledge and jumping over to finish it off. From behind, a red-tipped, clawed hand slashed at her and nicked her leg, causing her to retaliate by stabbing the Soul Key downward across its helmeted head, also knocking it back. Swiping up dropped munny as she ran, the redhead swung her weapon around and caught another Soldier off guard, effectively toppling it. Yet a moment later, she was thrown to the ground herself as a Wyvern rammed into her shoulder from the air. Talons bared, it swooped down to pierce her, only to be met with the silver metal of her blade as she parried the blow and staggered to her feet. Leaping up as far as she could (which, admittedly, was not very high), she slashed the Wyvern to the ground and twisted her Keyblade down to it. The Heartless dispersed in a cloud of black, leaving more munny and a potion behind, which Ame also scooped up. Yet the remaining Wyvern finished what the other had stopped, raking its talons along the length of her left shoulder. With a pained growl, the grey-eyed girl instantly grabbed at the bleeding cuts, stumbling back to have a Soldier leave two more scrapes on her side. Running to the far end of the District, by the exit, she sank to the ground and pulled out a potion from her pocket, downing it and grimacing at the taste. She was momentarily enveloped in a spring-green glow, erasing her wounds. Rejuvenated, she stood back up and dragged open the heavy doors, slipping through them into the safety of the First District. {557 Pickle. Beat it. =O I dare you EDIT: DON'T KILL ME HOLLOW! ;o;} Last edited by GuardianOfHearts; 04/29/06 at 09:50 PM. |
