Ed gave a half stare, not being in the mood at all for any battling. his gaze slowly turned to Ichigo, who was to the left of him. "You too...?" He asked Ichigo as they both glanced into the air. Something was wrong, and he could tell it at that moment. "You, little boy, with the blonde hair. We really don't want any fighting, and we're passing through." Ed said with a glare in his eye, looking to the one known as Kearo, who looked to be the leader of the group, perhaps.

"Ed, calm down, it's not here yet." Ulf stated as his dragon teeth showed widely, yet he cared nothing for it. "We have about half-an hour, so we should just chill." Ulf replied, knowing it would not get through his thick head, basically no matter what. Ulf then noticed eye contact between Ichigo and Ed. "No! Not here! Look, we're in public!" Ulf said with a glare.

The Elric noticed as well. "Wouldn't other people think of it as strange? Although you have that keyblade power, what you two is planning is not right." The Elric stated as he clapped his hands and made a wall between Ed and Ichigo. Within seconds Ichigo knocked it down. "Seriously you two! A Fusion!? Here!?"

"Fine, we'll move on. Sorry for the trouble we caused you three." Ed stated as he took a short bow, and started walking towards the left. Ichigo gave a half stare and kneeled down towards where Naruto was. "Little boy, know your place." He said with a glare as he stood up and followed behind Ed.

"Oh, little kid, call me shorty again, and I will kill you." Elric stated as he let out a wave a followed towards Ed, who had stopped surprisingly. "Huh..?" Elric asked dully as he looked at Ichigo and Ed. Ed slowly turned, and walked towards Ichigo and Elric.

    "Where...are we going...?"

Alejandro laid his hand on the brick wall. Nearby, he saw a small bronze plaque that read "Radiant Garden" and had autographs of several peope etched onto it, most likely the inhabitants. This must be the place. Alejandro sat down for a moment against the brick wall, still recovering from the minor jet lag after the long flight from Advent City. He surveyed the craggy blue landscape that was set under a hazy pinkish sky, then stood up and made his way into the outpost. This is where Cloud would most likely be, but the eerie silence of the place made him wary of his surroundings...

Suddenly, he felt a shaking in his jacket pocket. He felt around in it, then pulled out a small, tooth shaped jade crystal. Kefka's getting antsy again.

In his hand was the Divine Tooth of Atma, the charm that held Kefka in petrified stasis...most of the time. It rumbled and shook wildly in his hand. Sighing in exasperation, Alejandro reluctantly rubbed the stone a bit. The stone suddenly lit up in a bright green aura, and out sprung a miniature clown of sorts, cackling and springing around Alejandro. This was Kefka, the devious little imp that rested in Alejandro's pocket. Happy to be free, Kefka bounced happily off the walls of the keep.

"Heeehahahahaw! Ah, fresh air! It's about time I got some fresh air! Ohoho, what kind of mischief shall I indulge in today..."

"There will be no mischief on my watch." Alejandro declared, holding out the jade stone as if to warn Kefka of the consequences of causing trouble. Kefka suddenly stopped and looked at Alejandro, then he drooped down his head and sighed for a moment, then became hopping mad as he began to complain vehemently.

"Ohhh why can't I ever have any fun!? You party pooper! I'm not going to spend all day cooped up in that stupid rock! I hate hate hate hate HATE being cooped up! I need to be free! I need to use my energy! You know, keep off the belly fat once in a while!"

Alejandro shook his head, wondering if he'll ever be able to maintain control over the hypereccentric and hyperactive Kefka. He surveyed his surroundings again, and then came up with an idea.

"Well, since you insist on being out here, I might as well make use of you. Inside these walls must be the town of the Radiant Garden. Go search ahead to see if you can find Cloud Strife. He has spiky blonde hair, blue eyes, and a really big sword. I sincerely doubt that you'll miss him. Report anything else interesting you might find as well, and DON'T GET INTO TROUBLE."

Don't get into trouble. What am I thinking? Kefka IS trouble.

Kefka grinned brightly and nodded approvingly, then took a bow. "Your wish is my command, sir!"

Alejandro watched as Kefka bounced nimbly into the town ahead, then sat back down to gain his energy. He was startled by a nearby rustling, and he turned around to see who was there. When he looked, he saw that there was nothing of interest, and he breathed a sigh of relief and took it as a false alarm. He saw Kefka bound back towards him with something in his hands.

"You didn't listen, did you Kefka?"

"All I did was, erm...'borrow' some ice cream! Don't you appreciate my generosity and kindness!?"

Alejandro shook his head and took the ice cream. He looked at it with intrigue. It had been a long time since he last had a dessert treat. He took a bite of this strange, light blue popsicle. Hmm...salty, yet sweet...

"So did you find him, Kefka?"

"No sir," said Kefka, "but I did see some interesting folk in town..."

    "Go on," said Alejandro.

"There was a girl with one of those key thingamajiggies-"

    "Keyblade," Alejandro added. "Continue."

"And she was accompanied by some wierd old fairy guy who was complaining endlessly about some spoony bard or something. Pretty annoying, huh?"

    "No kidding," added Alejandro, sarcastically.

There are others? It had never occured to Alejandro that there were others out there, but then he recalled what Cloud had said about the keyblade wielders...

"Every soul has the potential to be a keyblade, and every soul has the potential to be a wielder. It all depends on if the souls themselves want to use that potential, whether it be for light or for the darkness..."

Who was this wielder? Why was she using her potential? Was it for light? For darkness? There was only one way to find out, and he hoped that his social skills weren't too rusty. Spending a year with little human contact might do that...

    "C'mon. We're going in."

"Way ahead of you!" Kefka yelled, and bounced out in front of him. Alejandro shook his head and briskly walked behind him. He kept his eyes open, bugged by the feeling that someone, somewhere, was watching him...

"Hmm??" Tellah's glasses giggled with curiousity as it saw a mysterious clown. "What, Tellah?" Avian's eyebrows raised, as she whipped her keyblade out cautiously. The mage remained silent, trying to gain control of his enchanted glasses. With a sigh of unbelief, he staggered, "I'm not quite sure... I think I saw a flying clown with an ice cream pop."

Avian began to simper, as Tellah's eyes grew wide. "I-I do not lie, see? I am positive I saw a clown! An impish fiend of trouble if I ever saw one! A-and I can almost imagine him stealing that pop! After that brigand!" With his fragile girlish robe-wings, Tellah soared for the spot of Kefka.

"Tellah! Tellah, stop!" Avian ran for him, but was hastily guarded by a flying hunk of metal. A thick buster sword. Avian pointed her keyblade to its thrower, atop a building, eyes cold and full of apathy. Slender but slick locks of blonde hair accomodated his crystal blue eyes, and he was holding another buster blade. Avian examined him, and immediately recognized the warrior. "Cloud Strife," Avian spat, eyes directed with flame. "Avian," he said coldly.

Tellah rushed for the two walking, when he dropped on his wings right in front of him. Turning to Alejandro and Kefka, he propered himself and straightened his glasses. "Hello, uhm, er. I am Tellah! Have you seen a spoony bard?" he said with a vibrant tone, before huffing towards Kefka. "You're wise for words, mister Disappear! You've had me following you! My friend-" Tellah cut himself off as he turned to and fro. "Avian?"

The large citadel of Radient Garden, once occupied by the famous (or infamous) scientist known as Ansem. It lay in the centre of the town, and it reached high into the sky, far higher than any other building in Radient Garden. It was not too long ago the focal point of attention in the very different world known as Hollow Bastion, which was in fact the very same Radient Garden we know today. Except Radient Garden was much more... Appealing to the eye.

At the very top of the citadel, a minuscule circle suddenly appeared into existence, facing downward on the town below. Just as soon as it had appeared, it expanded larger and larger, until it was of two metres radius in size. One could clearly see through the circle now, which was obviously some sort of wormhole. It's edges burned with a black fire, but its contents were nothing more than a large expanse of whiteness. Nothingness. Though something did emerge from this warp hole, it passed through into the real world as a being that suggested he had belonged to it all along. This was not the case.

'Radient Garden. This will be the first world to be subjected to the true power of nothingness... Not it's cheap imitation...'

These were the words spoken by the being, which judging by the tone of its voice suggested that it was male, and no more than fifteen years of age. Such was true, the enigmatic and underestimated Jinsei had arrived at last, but there was no fanfare to suggest his arrival had been anticipated. No fanfare from anything that truly existed that is. Suddenly the air began to blur in all directions when it suddenly snapped back to its original sharpness, but now more beings (not that they could be called such a thing) were floating in the air around their messiah; the Dusk.

'Oh, how unexpected.' Jinsei lied with a touch of humour.

He ran his bandaged hands through his long and dangerous black hair, which cascaded just past his shoulders and rested onto his short-sleeved navy blue jacket, which hung loosely onto his body and only just reached his dark green army pants. These pants ran all the way down (with numerous silver zips along the way) to his lace less blue and green chequered-style shoes. The only part of Jinsei's skin that was visible was his face, made up of a lightly tanned complexion and two easily distinguishable dark grey eyes. And the obvious ears mouth and nose.

'Now that a small portion of us have arrived, we might as well entertain ourselves until the rest decides to acknowledge my...' Jinsei was about to say "existence", but finished off with; 'presence...'.

The creatures around him jittered about to signify they agreed with what their master was suggesting, and with a swift motion Jinsei raised his hand into the air, an order which was hastily adhered to as the fifty or so Dusk scattered off in all directions. Along with this, a dull light shimmered in Jinsei's raised hand, and took form into a white and grey object. Apathy. The keyblade of non-existent truth.

'Now...' Jinsei murmured to himself, as he lowered his blade and pointed its tip directly at two other beings that were so far away from his current location that it was amazing he could actually see them. Avian and Cloud.
Without the need to recite the brief incantation, Jinsei performed his own unique spell, one that truly enforced the power of nothingness. The air around the two suddenly imploded in on itself, but due to the fact Jinsei was so far away, there was a fairly high chance the attack may have missed.

The knucklehead-ninja glared at the blonde-haired alchemist with a scowl, quickly taking a kunai out of his pocket, too fast for Suraya to even see it. And right as Naruto threw the weapon over towards the Elric boy, Kearo had caught the kunai with his bare hand, crushing it within his palm. "Don't be stupid." He advised him calmly, stuffing his hands into his black pant pockets. "We know you're stronger than him, but there's no need to make enemies." He continued, walking off passed the two.

The keyblader and her accomplice stood with widened eyes, then over towards one another. "Dude....did you see that?" Suraya questioned Naruto, reffering to Kearo's light-speed.
"He caught it! Th-then he broke my kunai! The bastard!" The fox-boy crossed his arms childishly, then sighed. "C'mon, let's go. This world's boring, anyway." He followed after Kearo, running at a well-balanced pace. Before taking off after her two friends, Suraya looked back over at the group of strangers, then smiled cheerfully. "Hey! I hope to see you guys again! It was nice meeting you!" She spoke with innocence, letting out a short wave, then dashing after her friends into town.

"You act cool and pass out? Figures." Ichigo stated quietly as he looked at Ed. "That way. They'll be here any minute." He said as he walked towards that direction, with his hands within his pockets. "Seems as if the main square is the target."

"Fighting already...ugh..." Ed said as he streched back. He slowly turned to the girl who was leaving. "Oh, see ya later." He said with a wave as he walked foward. "Who would've thought that this many heartless would appear in one area." Ed said with a grin, eager to fight at the moment. He streched out his left hand and in an instant, his Spirit keyblade appeared with in it.

The Elric boy stood firm. "Damn midgit, calling me short. I feel like beating him right now...but you'd just dismiss me..." The Elric said with a sigh as he walked with Ichigo, towards the main square, where heartless' shadows could be sensed by those of low skill almost by now.

"Meh, off we go." Ulf said as he ran past Ed, who was the only one left, still looking at the three. "You coming Ed?"

"Oh, sure..." Ed said as he shook his head and raced off. "Hope to see you again someday." He said, still grinning at the thought of a fight.

As Ed raced to the square, it seemed as if some kind of festival was starting, but with in a second, they were running in horror. Heartless. All appearing at a quick rate, faster than anytime before, yet at still a stable rate for now. Many different types, some ghost like, others flying, and some the strange as always weaklings. Hearts were being stolen, yet most of the humans got away as fast as possible, just as soon as Ed, Ichigo, Ulf, and the Elric boy got there.

"Ichigo!" Ed yelled out and Ichigo gave a nod. "Spirit Form!" Ed said and Ichigo cam flying into his body. A fusion of two fighters was the easiest way to fight. With in spirit form, Ed was at his greatest game. "Time to have fun." The fused voice said as the figure jolted, and a line of heartless died.

As fragments of space around them imploded suddenly, Avian ran for cover, distinctly leaping past Cloud and falling down into the blue cliffs of Radiant Garden. Cloud was a bit surprised as well, and followed Avian, pulling out another buster blade and ripping the wind past him. Avian fell into the great maw below, where a horde of Nobody creatures charged gracefully towards the two. Dusks.

Avian prepared for the fight, whipping her keyblade into action as she descended the onslaught. Cloud shortly reacted as well, buster swords flinging into the throats and torsos of the beasts. "You! Cloud, why'd you have to be here. Now. To see your pretty girl, Aeris?!" Avian slammed a nearby Dusk into another as she twirled her shiny key in angst of battle.

Cloud ignored her statement, and somersaulted into a pile of the white nothings, slicing and dicing with superb swordsmanship. "Hey, don't worry about what I do. Worry about what's gonna happen to us. Someone just ambushed us with some air bomb, and now, we're being overridden with Nobodies. Get with the program." Cloud mockingly reprimanded her as they fought in the cold of the city.

"You won't get away with this, spiky-boy!" the girl threw a jewel in midair, a purple amethyst adorned with a small set of wings. Suddenly, an obnoxious winged girl gripped tight on Avian and flew around the midst of battle. Eiko! "We'll deal with that creep soon enough!" Eiko yelled as Avian swooped for kills.

Kefka snickered to himself as he watched the distraught little sage look around feverishly for his companion. "Well well well! It looks like the little bearded buffoon is looking for trouble. Let's play around with him as a little warmup, shall we?"

Alejandro shook his head. Typical Kefka attitude. Suddenly, his attention was diverted by a fierce battle in the distance. A flurry of villanous creatures had descended upon the Radiant Garden, and it looked as if there were others fighting them off. He then noticed the outline of a certain someone he was supposed to meet...

    Cloud.

"C'mon, Kefka. We have to go take out those creatures."

Alejandro dashed off with keyblades in hand towards the ensuing battle. Kefka stared out, mouth agape, surprised that Alejandro would depart so rushedly. He looked back to see Tellah trying unsuccessfully to stealthily tiptoe his way out.

"Oh no you don't! You're coming with me!"

Kefka grabbed Tellah by the arm and began bouncing in behind Alejandro.

When Alejandro arrived at the battle scene, he saw that the creatures were silver and rubbery in appearance, almost if they were empty jackets floating in the wind. They're bodies lacked identity, their sole existence was to be nonexistant.

    Nobodies.

Alejandro quickly fended off two Dusks with a swing from Will of the Heartbroken, and then he attacked with the lighter, nimbler Giella's Grace. Good. Two down.

    Many more to go.

He suddenly looked behind him. It was Cloud!

    "Cloud! What's going on!?"

A Dusk suddenly leapt out, attempting to ambush Alejandro. Cloud shoved him out of the way, and one fell swoop from his blade was enough to finish of the Dusk.

"This is going on." Cloud replied. "The town has been bombarded by Nobodies for quite some time, and we could seriously use an extra hand with Sora out on a special mission...ah! Behind you!"

Alejandro whipped around with both his keyblades to attack the Dusk that had attempted to sneak up on him. The Dusk went flying back and into the ground, but struggled up on its feet, persisting in its violent pursuit of Alejandro. Suddenly, a screeching laugh sent it into a delirium that kept it confused long enough for Alejandro to vanquish once and for all.

    "Thanks, Kefka."

Kefka chuckled. "Hahaha! Nothing can withstand the power of meeeeee!"

    "Where's Tellah?" asked Alejandro.

"How should I know?" Kefka replied. "We were surrounded by Dusks, and I just leapt the heck out of there!"

Alejandro sighed. Great. Hopefully, Tellah would be safe, but now wasn't the time to be worrying about that. Alejandro looked over to Cloud.

"What's happening? Why am I here?"

"Destiny." replied Cloud. "The souls of the keyblades are gathering again. I don't know why, and for what purpose, but there are greater powers at work here, both good and evil."

    Alejandro stood in silence. Destiny?

The silence was broken by the appearance of more Dusks. The onslaught seemed to be unstoppable.

"Let's head to higher ground, Alejandro. We'll have a better foothold deeper in the fortress."

Alejandro followed Cloud as they made their way back into the Radiant Garden's inner fortifications. Suddenly, he looked back to see, in the air, a woman with a distinctly familiar weapon...a keyblade. Ignoring Cloud, Alejandro ran back into the fray with Kefka bouncing in from behind. Cloud looked back in shock. "Wait!" he cried, but his shout was ignored. Shaking is head, he reluctantly picked up his blade and ran in after Alejandro...

Kearo and Naruto were almost out of Suraya's sight as she ran after them, trying to catch up. "Hey, guys!! Wait!" She yelled out to them, but seemingly not loud enough for them to hear. Suddenly, a group of dusks surrounded her, standing in a flimsy stance, looking as if they were about to fall over.

"Awww...." She whispered to herself, seeing how she was completely out-numbered. This wasn't the first time she had seen the Nobodies. She had fought them once at Radiant Garden, where she had just came from. That was how the three of them started their journey together.

"Wanna piece of me?!" She yelled with confidence, summoning the Dark Lilium, her most favorable keyblade. A handful of the white husks then pounced at her, but she quickly made a counterattack, sending them flying back into the air. Her eyes were ful of anger, buut Suraya made sure not to envelope herself in rage, or her dark side would take control over herself.

Alejandro ran forward into a sudden crowd of malicious Nobodies. Taking his keyblades, he cleared a path using Heartbeat, smashing Will of the Heartbroken into the ground and creating a devastating shockwave that opened a path towards Avian, who continued her own onslaught of the Nobodies. Cloud ran up to Alejandro and readied his buster blade.

    "Ready?" he asked.

    Alejandro smirked. "Always."

With their mighty weapons in hand, Cloud and Alejandro went into Aegis Breakpoint mode. Weapons glowing bright, both warriors charged forth, furiously slashing at the Nobodies as they fell one by one. After a flurry of clashing weapons, the duo finished with a mighty slash that wiped out a good chunk of the soulless army. Cloud and Alejandro sighed in relief and smiled as they took a momentary break that would be interrupted by a new, more persistent army of Nobodies. Both Cloud and Alejandro shook their heads in disbelief, and Alejandro reluctantly lifted his keyblades in preparation for the next wave. Alejandro was drained of most of his energy, and he began to question how long he would actually last in this battle.

"This is going to be a long fight," he said to himself...

and then all the characters stopped fighting to buy reasonably priced ugg boots, and they got to talking and all went out for coffee and realised they wernt so different after all and thus the worlds were at peace once more and nobody's feet ever got cold in the winter.
