What's this journal thing?

Random RP idea~ Let's say that your character, doesn't matter who, found the internet or at least a website that they could join and create a journal. What would they say? What would happen? Would something crazy happen and they could record every little detail of it? Who knows! Anything's possible! The basis behind this is that ANY character that you have created from anywhere, whether it's a completely original character or one you made for a canon RP [anybody's fine just as long as YOU created it; sorry, no soras or stitchs'll show up here!], has found a site called Livejournal. They create a journal, but the internet kind of gets mixed up in something crazy about to happen outside of it. All of the characters will eventually actually met outside of this journal site, but there's no specific plot otherwise.

With that in mind, I'm going to create another journal roleplay. All you have to do to join is say that you want to on here. I don't have to look over a template and give you the okay that you can join. Just show interest! Simple, right? This'll take place on Livejournal while all of the OOC stuff'll be on in this thread. There's also no specific plot other than what I just said. We'll figure it out as we go!

If you're screaming 'WHAT THE CRAP HOW DO I JOURNAL ROLEPLAY DDDD:', I tried my best to explain it in this post. If you have any questions or I missed something in that explanation, feel free to let me know. :D

Yep I'm interested. Question - You mentioned meeting outside the LiveJournal website... What's outside LiveJournal? Earth? Our world? Or something else? If we bring in someone who can make fireballs, that'll cause a little trouble in the real world...

Heh, if we can do that, I'm definitely going to do that.

Edit: I can't access the Livejournal site you linked in your 1st Journal RP... I guess its cuz I'm in China. They probably blocked it cuz it has anti-communist ideas or smthing

Well, there would have to be one place where everybody eventually meets up. That can seriously be anywhere. 8D; It doesn't matter; everybody just has to meet up there. That can actually be decided in this thread, though, and that can be whenever. :d

There's some other journal sites that have the same system that LJ has, but some of them might actually not prohibit people from certain places. And, seriously? You're in China? DUDE. AWESOME.

Yep, China - The Land of Communism! It's not that bad, downsides is that wikipedia doesn't work here, and youtube was blocked for a while back.
Good things, I can buy any games I want for about 2 kuai each - 25 cents XD. Fake of course. If I go to America, I'm screwed over.

But I'll see if I can access the LiveJournal site. Living in China means that you have to know something about getting past the ban. I know quite a few proxy sites and alternate VPN connections that work.

If you can get past that ban on LJ, then yay! If not, I'll keep on looking for another site to use.

And, Arcana, you can post your template on here, if you want. It seriously needs to be on your character's profile page and it needs to be short and to the point, so it's easier for everybody to take a quick look at it and then know your character's background a bit at a glance. But, if you want to post it up here, go ahead!

Lol, ironically, it seems that China has finally decided to put a filter on the anti-filter sites... Nope, I can't get onto LiveJournal, but I'll keep trying. You don't need to go find another site, I'll just sit this one out.

Aw, seriously? >.<; I'd rather not have anybody sitting out on a roleplay, so I'll looking for those journal sites, too. It's not fair if you don't get to join 'cause of that sort of stuff!

I'm in a lot, too. XD;; I probably need to put some of my characters on hiatus... but boredom struck and now I don't know what to do with most of them... *headdesk* Yay for boredom?
