It had been nearly one hundred years since peace came into Konoha. One hundred years since the defeat of Orochimaru, Sasuke, and the Akatsuki. Their evil ambitions were wiped from the face of the earth.

Naruto Uzumaki, a beloved Hokage and Sannin, died a peaceful death, along with all of his companions, including Sakura Haruno. That age of shinobi has long since past. But some people wish it hadn’t.

It seemed that after all this time the evil that was thought to have past has survived until this day.

There were reports of a ninja from Konoha stealing away into the night and not returning for several days. His name was Zurugamaru. These reports came in a few years ago.

Now Zurugamaru has established a new village, the Night Village, and rebuilt the Sound Village. Zurugamaru’s power matched that of his predecessor, Orochimaru, but his intentions were slightly different. He wanted to rule over all of the countries, and learn all jutsus at once. Knowing this may take longer than a lifetime, he has found Orochimaru’s preserved body and from it, learned the Body Transfer technique. He has not yet transferred though.

The spirits of the great Bijuu had been passed on to a new generation. No one knows who holds which beast, and that causes apprehension.

Zurugamaru remains idle and in an unknown location. He seems to waiting for the right moment, just as Orochimaru did so many years ago.

As of now, the ANBU have increased in number and are tightening security. The same is for most other countries. It rains more than usual and that is a bad sign. There has been a new scroll added to the mission scrolls called Z-Mission. It contains only one mission: to find Zurugamaru. Everyone, no matter what rank, is welcomed to take the mission, for every shinobi is needed. All who have taken it have failed, and over half of them have died or mysteriously disappeared. Now only the most patriotic or daring accept it.

As a concluding statement, there have been recent rumors of another Akatsuki, but these have not yet been confirmed. They are also most likely nonsense.

Bio:
Over the years Hotaru has accomplished a lot. He's overcome the difficulties of growing up with no parents. He battled his way through the ninja Academy of Kumo, to finally get the chance to become a shinobi. He was appointed a team of three, three people who would not only become his best friends, but his family as well. His sensei, Daaku Raito, prooved to be an amazing teacher. He put him and his teammates through harsh training, and intense battling. But it all prooved to be for the better in the end. Hotaru has been on many missions, learned many jutsu, and gained many friends in the process.


And while on that trip to the snow village, Hotaru trained under a master of the snow element. Already having basic control over his water element, he soon learned the wonder of snow. Hotaru was now illegible to take the Jonin exam, which would allow him to become a Jonin instructor. But that was a few years ago. Hotaru is older now, and more responsible....teehee.

Personality:
Over the years Hotaru has matured.....a bit. At times, he can still act like the small genin he once was, years ago. But his mature and serious side has taken over the majority of Hotaru's personality. He still tends to act out in bursts of randomness, and can be a pervert still....but then again, who the hell isn't!?

In battle, Hotaru become completely heated, and goes crazy. He doesn't hold back anything, even on his own genin.

Weapon(s):
Kunai Knives: The basic ninja tool for all shinobi, mostly introduced to young Genin. A sharp daggerlike weapon to carve up enemies and opponents.

Demon Wind Shuriken: A shuriken shaped into the form of a windmill, excellent for cutting through the air and through enemies. Its rotation is what makes it such an impressive ninja tool.

Shuriken: One of the starter ninja tools used in various combinations. Shuriken are the equivalent of darts to be thrown can more or less immobilize an opponent temporarily. .

Techniques:
1. Raiton: Lightning Clone Jutsu
Similar to the Shadow Clone Jutsu, this jutsu has a base of which to clone. The clones start out as lightning, and soon gain the charactersitics of Hotaru. When destroyed, unlike the Shadow Clone Jutsu, the clones send an electrical charge through the person who destroyed them, which may cause a few seconds of parslisation. ~Lightning~ C-rank

2. Raiton: Dosshiri Lightning Clone Jutsu (Massive lightning clone)
Like the Lightnig Clone jutsu, this jutsu creates clones with a lighting mass. But unlike the orginal, which only creates from three to five lightning bunshi, Dosshiri Lightning Clone jutsu creates a massive amount of Clones. The number ranges from 100 to 1000. The most clone Hotaru has created with this jutsu is just around 200...so far. ~Lightning~ A-rank

3. Name: Dendou Bakuhatsu no Jutsu (Electric Detonation Technique)
Flashing a number of Hand seals, Hotaru causes all lightning bunshins that are under his specific control to explode into a burst of electricity, shocking anyone that happens to be near them.

4. Raiton: Hiryuu Chidori no Jutsu(Lightning Release: Flying plover Dragon technique)- After quickly making an incomplete chidori attack in his hand Hotaru runs forward and thrusts his hand up. This results in a lightning dragon attack that sweeps around the opponent and shocks them severely causing moderate damage. This jutsu has 100% accuracy when water is nearby, or it is raining outside.....or inside for that matter.~Lightning~ B-rank

5. Raiton: Myaku Baasuto no Jutsu(Lightning Release: Pulse Burst Jutsu)- This is both a taijutsu and ninjutsu skill that involves covering the base of the feet, or hands with electricity to cause a shock that disrupts the nerves in an opponent when they are hit. This can cause paralysis, and in some cases instant death……..~Lightning~ A-rank

6. Bukujutsu(sky dance skill, fly)-This is the technique that allows the user to fly, float or walk in the air while controlling his/her chakra. Daaku explains that anyone with sufficient power and the proper training can learn the ability. Hotaru simply controls his energy and pushes out from underneath him allowing him to fly. ~Suplimentary~

7. Raiton: Lightning yadama (Lightning Arrow)- Hotaru opens his palms, and concentrates on his chakra, forming an arrow in his hand. Hotaru makes a fist, and he can make any movement with his hand and send an arrow flying. Depending on the hand movement and power depends on the speed of the Arrow. This doesn't mean that any movement sends out an arrow. This jutsu only works when Hotaru concentrates on the chakra stored in his hadns. Over the past few years, Hotaru has been able to control the jutsu more, and it's power has been multiplied. Hotaru can now only say the jutsu once, and it will be in effect for little over 5 days, but doesn't drain his chakra unless an arrow is shot out. ~Lightning~ A-rank

8. Kisaki Furea Sashijou no Jutsu(Empress Flare Bolt Technique)- Waves o energy swell out from Hotaru as he uses the appropriate signs for the jutsu. Each swell of lightning charka ripples in layers that as Hotaru moves disrupt the internal balance of not only opponent’s charka, but also their nerve reactions. Getting close to up to 3 enemies whom are no more than 5, or 6 meters apart, Hotaru releases the lightning charka, and a seal-like ring locks opponents in place. Leaping, and doing an additional set of hand signs, Hotaru watches as red lightning streaks across the sky, and hits his enemies, using into the ring of charka, causing a blast of dark lightning energy ~Lightning~ A-rank


9.Rensa Raikou no Jutsu (Chain Lightning Technique)
A useful technique generally used in an attempt to take out a group of enemies by surprise. Forming electricity into both hands the Cloud Nin launches a continuous stream of Lightning at one opponent, if the technique hits one person it immediately launches itself at the next non-friendly person in range. The lightning chain specifically targets water that is found in the body, so bunshins are generally left untouched unless it's a Water Bunshin. The original number of targets this jutsu can initially hit is three. ~Lightning~ B-rank


10.Hando no Semeku (Hands of Torture)
Considered by most to be more of a torture technique then an actual attack the user can lay his hands on his opponent and send several thousands of volts of electricity into the target. Depending how many times a Cloud-Nin has hit the opponent with this will depend on what happens. One time of being hit by this technique causes minor burns, chest constrictions, blurred vision, and overall pain. An additional time of being hit by this any other time during the battle will cause on-site second-degree burns, partial blindness, and an inability to breathe. A third case of exposure will cause a third degree burn on the spot that the hands touched and will cause major orificial hemorrhaging cause by internal bleeding, and unconsciousness. The fourth exposure causes death, and pretty much leaves the area smelling like burnt flesh. ~Lightning~ A-rank

11. Dengeki no Jutsu (Electric Shock Technique): Hotaru fuses special kunai with his raiton chakra and puts them in the ground. Anything standing between two of these kunai will have a constant current of electricity running through them that keeps them from moving for two minutes. The knives can be up to 10 feet apart. ~Lightning~ C-rank

12. Kaizen Yuki Bunshin No Jutsu (Improved Snow Clone Technique)
Description: An improvement upon the first and somewhat inferior Yuki bunshin. Using advanced knowledge and chakra control this jutsu comes into light. Compacting snow and water together to form a very dense and durable clone, this new Yuki bunshin is no longer considered "weak" among anything else. The difference between this clone and its previous is that his clone is more compact, fully capable of withstanding more than one blow. It is also able to house items and weapons within its stomach or upon itself if the user feels like placing such a thing inside or upon them. ~Snow~ B-rank

13. Yukikeiji (Snow Apocolypse)
By manipulating the moisture within the atmosphere up far into the skies, Hotaru is able to make about fifty giant comets made entirely out of snow. These comets descend upon a targeted area, filled with chakra and ready to explode as soon as they make contact. This jutsu brings new word to long range artillery and is only used in the most dire of situations. These comets each explode with the force of four exploding tags. ~Snow~ A-rank

14. Nadare No Jutsu (Avalanche Technique)
This jutsu requires a very large amount of snow. By focusing 50% of his chakra into the snow directly infront of him,Hotaru is able to make a large tsunami of snow rise up into the air. This wave is able of destroying an entire army of ninja and has been forbidden to be used inside of Yukigakure or Hidden Snow unless there is no other way to defeat an opponent. This wave continues on its path of destruction, trapping anyone and anything caught in its path beneath the pure white depths. Only the user is able to avoid this technique by being directly behind the technique itself. ~Snow~ A-rank

15. Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu (Water Explosion Technique)This technique is a technique that forms a strong column of water to attack the oppoenent. Due to the force of the water the target will be fully enveloped by the water and at its mercy as it pulls them away. ~Water~ A-rank

16. Yukitama Renda No Jutsu (Snowball Barrage Technique)
By compacting snow into a group of twenty small snowballs, Hotaru is able to freeze them into a very dense state. Once this is performed the user is able to send this snowballs in a barrage towards any target they desire but once they are launched their direction cannot be changed. These snowballs each exploding with the power of an exploding tag. Usually this technique is used in a mortar sort of offensive, more useful in long range combat than upclose. ~Snow~ C-rank

17. Lightning Spout Jutsu- Hotaru forms two giant bubbles of water under the opponents feet that burst out of the ground and spray then from beneath with high pressure water blasts that knock the into the air. Hotaru’s last hand sign that activated the jutsu also makes sure that the orbs of lightning he threw also are a guaranteed hit. The water only attracts the electricity because of the impurities in the dirt. ~Lighning, Water~ C-rank

18. Thunder Rush
Hotaru runs full speed at the opponent, launching a barrage if punches before kicking the opponent into the air, launching kick after kick at the opponent as they move upwards, then axe kicks the opponent to the ground while punching them constantly until they are close to the ground. ~Lightning~ B-rank



Forbidden Jutsu:
1. Yuki: Senhappa(Snow Release: Energy Destroyer)- Similar to Hotaru's Lightning version of the Senhappa, Hotaru combines his element of Snow into the Senhappa. Unlike most versions of the Senhappa, this one is powered with Snow. Hotaru first charges up the Senhappa, and then fuses his element of snow into the energy, and when shot, acts as a form of ice beam. When hit, an opponent can be frozen, and or....frozen. ~Snow~ S-rank

Clan/Bloodline:

Nai Clan - The Nai clan of Kumogakure are an odd bunch. They are known to dabble in the dark arts of necromancy. Even if they are involved within the less than appreciated arts, Kumo can't help but allow them to continue on as they make up most of ANBU and such. They hold a bloodline known as the 'Death Pulse'

Bloodline : Death Pulse -A dangerous KG. When activating it, Shouten enters a state of calm with an aura that stinks of Death. When in it, his stats rise to high levels. His appearance changes slightly with his hair turning a midnight black with his skin turning pale. By activating it, Shouten is able to unleash the element of Darkness which lays dormant within him. There are a total of three levels for it.

Level 1(B)
The beginning stage. Although it is the lowest stage it is also considered dangerous since the user lets out killing intent which triggers a command in a person's brain to commit suicide if he/she has a weak will.

Level 2(A)
The middles stage is different for each member. Depending on the stats, they will enter a different state. Shouten is a speed type and he has the ability to create afterimages which by pumping chakra into it will make them solid temporarily.

Level 3(?)
The final stage has yet to be seen but it is considered dangerous by those who have seen it. It is rumored that the user uses the powers of the seven sins.
Kekkai Genkai Jutsu:

Level 1

Death : It does not mean the instant death of a person but rather it shows their death.

Erase : When in contact with a living being, Shouten is able to erase their will or confidence.

Level 2

Afterimage clones : By pumping chakra into his afterimages, they will be solid for a short while with the same abilities of the original but one jutsu is all it takes before it dissapears.

Copycat : As soon as Shouten creates an afterimage, by turning it onto a clone, it is able to do the action done previously. (For example, if Shouten punches an enemy with an afterimage behind him, it will do the exact same thing before fading out.)

Level 3

There have been no records of the level 3 Death Pulse however, there is only one recorded so far.

Reaper : Shouten is able to control the shadows in which they will form into a 'Reaper'. It is a summon in a way.

Element: Wind, Fire and Darkness
Bio:
As a member and heir of the Nai clan, Shouten was expected to be honourable and such. How he plummeted into darkness was beyond anyone. As a genin, he was one of the best. He was the fastest. The strongest. Everythin about him was perfect. The Nai clan somehow had a tradition in which the heir would undergo a trial. A trial which could either damage the mind of Shouten or could give him a grand power. The trial was quite easy and most had to take when they were chuunin and had gained the second level of the Death Pulse.

The first level manifests itself when the user's chakra coils enter it's growing state. The second level appears by repeated use of the first level. As for the third level, the user had to die. It was quite risky to say the least since it had a 10% chance of survival. They held onto Shouten and stabbed him repeatedly in the heart. He lay dead upon the floor but he was still breathing. How was that possible? Maybe because of the Dark chakra mending his heart at a rapid pace.

When one who can see spirits and such, can see a menacing figure over Shouten, injecting as much Dark Chakra as it could. Soon, his heart was healed and he awoke a different man. Kumo was never the same as half of the Nai clan was found with no souls and no memories.

His intentions for joining Zurugamaru are unknown at this time.

Personality: Quiet and Distant. He doesn't really care much of the world around him. Obsessed with his music and always stares at a person laced with killing intent when he is annoyed.
Weapon(s):

Haigara seems to look like a normal katana but it instead of a silvery sheen, it has a dark red blade with no handgurard. It's hilt is a dark blue covered in black leather. When pumped chakra into it, it's blade will grow and let out a flame of intense heat. However, Shouten has managed to release several forms which are not limited to dragons and phoenixes.
Techniques:
Goukakyu No Jutsu : Sends a large fireball
sub a) Goukakyu Hiri : Instead of one loop in front of his mouth, he uses two. One larger than the other. The fireball that goes through and ends up haped like a drill which is used to penetrate defenses.
sub b) Goukakyu Hou : An improved version of the Grand Fireball. It is slightly bigger and compressed into the shape of a round sphere. It is taxing since it needs plenty of chakra.
sub c) Goukakyu Shippuu : Instead of a fireball, it is shaped like a hurricane of fire which engulfs the enemy.

Housenka No Jutsu : Breathes out a barrage of fireballs.

Kaibun Tame Kaibun : Releases ashes into the air which not only impedes the sight of enemies but burns at the touch.

Ba-na-rei : As the name implies, Shouten releases a ray of fire which burns anything in it's path.

Kaze No Yaiba : A blade of wind.
sub a) Kaze No Zanbatou : By adding more chakra and changing the size into that of a Zanbatou. It is higly destructive but requires plenty of concentration and chakra.
sub b) Kaze No Yari : Same principles as the Kaze No Yaiba but instead of a sword it is used a spear and can be used for long range and close range.

Daitoppa : Breathes out a wind cannon.

Kaze Kunai : Laces a kunai with wind chakra.

Shippuu Kunai : Laces a kunai with wind chakra and when it makes impact, it releases air blades inside an opponent's body.

Kaze bunshin : Creates a clone made out of wind. When dispelled, it releases wind blades slicing nearby opponents or allies.

True Kage Bunshin : Literally a clone made out of shadows. Physical attacks can't hurt it. The only way to destroy it is via light.

Dance of the Dark : Shouten first touches a point in an opponents' body making a 'link'. Shouten unleashes his dark chakra and into the body of an enemy and slowly kills the spirit. Finishing it off, Shouten unleases a barrage of Dark Energy Bolts.

Dark Rain : Shouten unleashes a barrage of dark rays which circle around the enemy. Soon, they will fly up into the air and into the clouds.

Haigararyuu(Ashes Dragon) : By charging Haigara with chakra more than needed, it's blade will slowly melt off and turn into a dragon completely made out of lava. It will enter a rampage and devour anything in it's path until a jutsu of equal or more powerful strentgh destroys it.

Soudai Shippuu(Grand hurricane) : By sticking to the floor with his toes(like a ballerina), Shouten spins at an insane speed which causes a typhoon/hurricane/tornado depending on the spin speed to take in anything and once he stops, they are blown away.

Maelstrom Burner : Fanning the flames. By combining two of his elements inside his body, he covers his body in aura of fire which is followed by twisting around at an insane speed which gradually picks up speed wo the point a tornado is made. As the wind picks up, the flames gradually get bigger and bigger until it becomes one with the tornade hence becoming a Maelstrom of Heat.

Taijutsu:

Kakou : In order to use this style, the user needs flexibility and firmness. This style heavily relies on attack and speed. A normal punch can be used to create 'craters' inside a person's body, destroying it from the inside.

Kakou Sumasshu : Once Shouten enters an enemy's defense, he will initiate a combo where he will hit several of hte organs rendering the enemy stunned or in rare cases, dead.

Shuuryou Rendan : Shouten initiates this combo by ramming into the enemy. As soon as the enemy stumbles back, Shouten initiates several palm strikes finishing with one to the solar plexus. Normally, he would stop there but if the enemy is still alive, Shouten will do an uppercut and finish the enemy off by kicking him/her right in the neck.

Kakou Rendan : Shouten begins this combo by doing a heel drop onto an enemy. Once the enemy is about to reach the ground, Shouten cocks his foot back and kicks the opponent on the chin causing him/her to be airborne. Shouten ends this combo by grabbing the opponent and throws him/her into the ground.

Misucale Tempesta : When Shouten listens to certain songs, he is able to enter a trance which could deal damage in the most unpredictable ways similiar to the Drunken Fist style.

Dancing Lightning : A flurry of kicks. When Shouten initiates this, he uses one leg to rapidly kick the enemy while the other causes friction, heating his body and bioelectricity. Soon, his body stores so much electricity that he channels it into one final kick causing a storm of power in extreme cases.

Rampaging Earth : Shouten punches the earth, which causes a fist to punch the enemy from below.

Soaring Heat : Shouten jumps into the air and unleashes afterimages made solid by his bloodline. Each afterimage is filled with fire chakra and upon impact, it will explode. He finishes the move by kicking the enemy in the solar olexus.

Chi Burst : By charging chakra into his fist, he is able to release it the same way as the Hyuugas but the difference is that this move requires the chakra to be released in a wide area. When it is released, it makes a roaring sound which sends shockwaves.

Maximum Burst : Instead of one fist, he uses both of them to channel and fuse the chakra together to create a bigger blast of energy. At times, he will use elemental chakra to unleash different variations.

Maximum Flame : A flame elemental Maximum Burst.

Maximum Cutter : Wind elemental.

Maximum Explosion : A combination of Fire and Wind. It not only causes a wide explosion capable of levelling a small village but it can send near-invisible air blades.

Heat Haze : A flurry of kicks which are heat-based. One simple kick can leave a scorch mark.

Scorching Desert : By combining two of his affinities, he is able to unleash a flurry of blows which first burn the enemy, and combined with the wind chakra, it will increase the intensity of the flames.

Genjutsu: Can't use it but he can sense and dispel it.
