700 hundred years ago, within the world of Gaia erupted a dark creature from a spellbook known as Terendus. This creature stood 20 feet tall and was shrouded in darkness. Its intentions were purely evil and it was called forth for destructive purposes. It came to be known as Demitri. Causing much destruction, Demitri took over the most nothern part of the continent known as Tetra. The nothern part became known as the darkness country. It housed Demitri's dark emperor and his followers.

Demitri needed to be stopped and several groups had tried, but ended up with failure. A mage foretold that those that wish to face Demitri would need to journey to the Isle of Rikon. Several warrios banded together and made their way to the Isle that laid to the east of Tetra. Upon reaching the Isle, they were locked in combat. Through toture and a trail, four of the exceptional warriors were chosen to gain the power needed to defeat Demitri and also immortality to aging until Demitri was truly defeated. Unbeknownst to them, there was a traitor between them.

As they journeyed, the traitor gave away every position through a telepathic link with Demitri. Finally reaching Demitri's lair, they forced their way in, battling at all costs. They reached Demitri only to face the traitor. Through a long and hard fought battle, they acheived victory over Demitri. It wasn't over yet. Demitri's spirit roamed free and took control over one of their friends who had arrived with them. The traitor and Demitri used a spell from Terendus to turn the other three legends to stone. The warriors that had arrived with the legends, rescued the statues and escaped.

Bringing each warrior to a certain part of Tetra. One was situated inside the water temple in Asgard in the south. The people of Asgard are mainly intellectual, focusing most of their energies on pursuits of the mind, rather than any sort of material gain. Many of its denizens strive to become mages and sorcerers. The elements are highly revered in this land, and most of the denizens are committed to one element or another. Magical crystals are found in this town, and many citizens seek them out for jewelry, and to enhance their magical powers.

Another was placed in Morgus, a industrial town in the west. This town relies on it's connection to Asgard for trade. It is the main village and it has a large Market place. In the middle of this town is a colliseum that holds a tournament every 700 years. Fishing is the main resource of this town and violence is not wanted unless it's in the colliseum.

The last was placed in the kingdom of Hazroth in the east. The Kingdom of Hazroth enforces a strict military lifestyle. The males are taken into the military at the age of 9, and the women are schooled in politics all their young lives. Most other tasks, such as farming, building, and inventing, are reserved for the elderly, slaves, and those unable to fight. It is a nation that can only conquer or be conquered, for most other aspects of their country are weak. Slavery is common there, and takes care of most of the menial tasks. Most of their economy is driven by trading with other nations. Hazroth is rich with minerals and metals, many of which cannot be found elsewhere in the world.

Over 700 hundred years, Demitri had completely tooken over the north part of the continent and other cities amd villages. The descendants of the mage who foretold their gaining in power had found a spell that reversed the stone spell. The three legends have been released and now plan to meet together for the first time in years. Demitri has found out through the traitor. Will Demitri triumph again or will the legends and others finally defeat Demitri for good?

Nitemare is a twisted sadistic being that cares nothing of other, or really the world in general at all. Though pronounced as a he, the being can also be considered an it, as it doesn't have a body like that of a normal, or natural being. The look that Nitemare has on life is completely to that of the sword, and returning to the former power that it once contained, thus anything in the path of Nitemare can either die, be absorbed, or merely be influenced and taken over for its will.........

Originally made by normal human hands, Soul Edge was originally just a sword, but after being exposed to battle, blood and extreme hatred numerous times, the sword warped into a powerful demonic weapon and gained a dark soul called Inferno. As its blade continued to be soaked in blood it grew in power.

This corrupted demonic sword is the manifested reality of evil, darkness, corruption and everything in between, it holds such intense levels of dark power, that most whom have even grasped its hilt become possessed by the evil soul of the sword immediately, their bodies turning into nothing more than shells for the force that drives the blade. The energy that formulates it is a fermented dark power from all of the souls that it has eaten and added to its being. Physically and spiritually, the force of the blade is densely packed, having cause to rip through matter and energy and corrode them when enough damage is sustained. When cutting an opponent, it drains health instantly, causing the skin to shrivel.

By releasing the demonic blade, it can be controlled by the link that the suppressed, or un-suppressed blade has to the controller of the weapon, allowing the wielder to slice and dice opponents with out the use of the hands. Tendrils of dark matter, and a vaporous substance known as the evil seed flows from the blade, affecting the opponents nervous system, after some time, and also can fire bursts of matter warping darkness. The evil seed can take control of an opponents body..........

The immensely powerful spirit sword that is in Nitemare's possession. It was originally made from purified fragments of the cursed demonic blade Soul Edge to combat its terrible evil as pay back by a mighty king whom lost his son to the cursed blade and enlisted the mightiest sage in the realm to forge the blade, sadly costing the sage his life to do so.

This holy sword is the incarnate of purity and that of which has been going on for ages based upon the courage and soul energy of those whom have wielded the blade, and the pure concentration of what is good. It is a large weapon that houses an unimaginable amount of pure destructive force, having power to purge evil, but none whom have wielded, including Siegfried at this point have harnessed its true power. The blade has a physical and spiritual nature, able to fend against any kind of weapon. It radiates energy when used, and because of this when in a weapons clash, it will begin to drain energy from another weapon, converting its nature to that of its own, making the fight easier.

Soul Calibur does not need to be handled by the wielder to be used, and can fire destructive blasts of pure energy that crash and cause explosions. The blade has a tremendously jagged edge on it.

Background:
Siegfried was born on February 6th, Sir Frederick Schtauffen, a brave knight who was considered a champion among the oppressed peasants of his home, and a woman named Margaret who met Frederick while he was on campaign. He was given the name 'Siegfried' after the famous hero, and was taught swordsmanship by his father.

Frederick embarked on a foreign crusade and, due to lack of guidance in life, Siegfried unintentionally murdered his returning father while rampaging as the leader of a teenage band of thieves calling themselves "Schwarzwind", or black gale. Siegfried grew in despair and eventually convinced himself that anyone but he was to blame for his father's death. Siegfried had heard rumors of the invincible Soul Edge, and came to believe his father's killer could only be killed with that weapon.

After taking the life of a noble he worked for during a siege on his castle in Ostrheinsburg, he finally managed to come across the legendary weapon Soul Edge, lying beside the corpse of the defeated Cervantes de Leon which transformed into Inferno. Siegfried defeated Inferno, earning the right to wield Soul Edge himself. However, Soul Edge telepathically spoke to Siegfried, arranging a deal between the two; Siegfried would help the blade to restore itself gathering souls, and Soul Edge would resurrect his father Frederick. But Siegfried finally succumbed to the sword's power - transforming into the Azure Knight, Nightmare.

He claimed refuge in Ostrheinsburg Castle. During the following three years, he gathered together a group of followers: the golem Astaroth, Aeon Calcos, and Isalbella Valentine. Each of them aided him in Soul Edge's quest to devour souls for a rejuvenation ceremony to be performed in his chosen stronghold, Ostrheinsburg Castle. But as the ceremony was about to take place, the clan was quickly laid to waste. Both Aeon Calcos and Astaroth were defeated; and Ivy left the clan after learning the shocking truth of her past from the Fu-Ma ninja, Taki. Two young warriors confronted Nightmare: Kilik, owner of both the sacred staff Kali-Yuga and sacred mirror Dvapara-Yuga; and Xianghua, owner of Krita-Yuga, which revealed itself as Soul Calibur.

Nightmare and Soul Edge were not defeated, and because of this, Nitemare rethought his plans, seeing that numerous of the pieces of Soul Edge Were still missing, he simply took Soul Calibur as well, the blade being holy, but contained by Nitemare's power. Near this time, Nitemare went a journey with three others, with his secret intent on finding fragments of Soul Edge. Also unbeknownst to those he traveled with, Nitemare was also a traitor, giving away information to Demitri during his time with the other three now called legends.

In a battle to the death, though holding massive power, Nitemare wasn't able to use his powers to defeat the three against him, as Siegfried's spirit was surfacing, and forze out Nitemare's powers, only to later be crushed, but the battle was lost, and Demitri was also defeated. However, Demitri's soul merely fused into the body of one whom traveled with the legends, and after a short period of time, the Terendus was used to freeze the legend's souls, and their bodedi corroded over unto stone.............

700 years later, Nitemare is back at full power, and has been devouring souls, and still increasing Soul Edge's power as well as giving information to Demitri, though his motives are unknown at this point. The legend's of the past have finally been freed as well. There just may be hope once again, but as far as Nitemare is concerned, the world will fall unto darkness, and Demitri is merely a pawn like everyone else.

Personality:Stark is very lazy. Probally one of the laziest people you know but since the military did the expirements on him Stark has changed immensily. Powers: Able to manipulate and control gravity around him and areas.The military had expirements on Stark to prevent another Demitri attack or if one of the legends try to turn bad. Things didnt go so good and I was infused with some powers of gravity but they couldnt control me. Stark was deemed hazardous and suppose to be killed of before he deserted them and now im looking for Demitri to fufill what he was made for

Probally one of the laziest people you know but since the military did the expirements on him Stark has changed immensily. He doesnt talk much and he seems like he always has something deep on the mind. Who knows the pain and torture he went through but since then Stark is not the same. Things didnt go so good and I was infused with some powers of gravity but they couldnt control me. Stark was deemed hazardous and suppose to be killed of before he deserted them and now im looking for Demitri to fufill what he was made for
