[Shattered Redemption]

Back Story
The usage of online games and franchises to entertain those whom cannot handle reality, or just those whom like the experience of online gaming has taken the world through many the experience, and occasion of traumatic times. One would think that bringing the world into a state of prosperity using an interface that was completely online would be a bad idea, but over time the knowledge has increased, and with that the need, and want to continually surpass the system, or the insane notion to take over the system as such.

Since 2017 and the 3rd network crisis where the Internet crashed around the entire world. causing widespread chaos and affliction, history swarms to repeat itself, and there have been a grand total of 8 network crisis' since then. Involvement of the game known as "The world" in many names, expansions and trials has seemed to have a lot to do with these problems, because of the fusion of what seems to be more than just an online game though none of these rumors have been proven.

In 2029 "The World X:4 had to go offline due the actual company going bankrupt from the loss of funding to support itself. They had been sued by other companies, and split up by a law on monopolizing the online gaming business as they had either bought out, or caused the bankruptcy of numerous other companies in their effort to be the best at supplying the world with so called fun. To keep from completely being wiped out, an affiliate company came up with a quick play game called "Destined Divine", which was an instant hit, and the sponsor's name and details were never given. However this year, news of the return of "The World" hit the network, and the release of the game and it newly changed and supposedly advanced workings drove old fans, newbs, and online junkies alike to go out and try this version of "The World". Notion of the company who got CC Corporation back up and running was never revealed, but the staff has been changed slightly, and there are numerous knew executives, along with the dual runners of CyberConnect; Ryou Misaki and Chigusa Kusaka.

"The World: NeV"

The game has not changed much more than the previous games, keeping most of the servers and the like intact over the years, adding this and that to the GFX. Mainly the latest installment of the game is a fresh start, those play of their own accord, and that is the way to keep things simple. The servers are all completely workable, and the data inside the game is managed how it should be. Unlike other versions of the game however, this version cold be considered more quest and event based........

Invasion of the Vantratros

The ongoing event of NeV is based upon the Invasion of a group of creatures known as the Vantratros. These creatures are unlike a normal AI, or player, and have such powers as to steal data directly from a given character, poisoning their character, and making loss of data rather rapid. As per information on the forums, these creatures are not impossible to defeat, and have a type of random percentage of power that is used per battle. They do not have a certain appearance, only a tell-tale mark of a crescent moon and red star symbol on their chest.

Characters that are defeated by a Vantratros become weaker, and so the game can run properly are given the option to either lose 4 levels, or take the mission to defeat a Vantratros captain, which involves a field, or terrial dungeon type mission where either alone or in a party a swarm of powerful Vantratros(Van) for short, and then the captain must be beaten.

However other problems arose as the strain on data inside the servers became warped, and like previous versions of the game, things with characters seemed to be leaking into the real world.

Characters who were killed by Van either developed a strange sickness involving the deterioration of the mind or something from even more horrible stages. Comatose status........

System Admins have been working to find out the cause of this problem, but keeping things secret is not as easy as it seems.............

Game Information.

The classes in "The World NeV" Have been changed since the previous installment, and the Adept Rogue class has been deleted.

Class list

Double Blader:
A character class that fights using two blades instead of one. These swords aren't usually large, but the power behind each successive blow allows for damage to be increased easily. This class can use their two blades well together. They can strike quickly, but the balance that is needed to fight with two weapons instead of one causes defensive problems at times.

Xtreme Buster:
This class uses weaponry that is extremely heavy to fight with. This doesn't just mean swords either, it could be a large tree, or even a weapon with second weapons on it. Such a class has a lot of raw power, but in retrospect are rather slow compared to other classes in battle, and also the movement of a character is more restricted.

Injection Arm:
A class whom is able to use various weapons that are long and used for piercing. They can fight with poles, spear, and weapons like lances, or javelins. They are not the speediest of attacks, but eh reach and also precision used make for the most immediate attacks in battle.

Sword Brandier:
A character class that uses a one-handed sword or a dagger to fight. The have moderate speed and power, and can use their blade with relative ease to flip around and inflict damage. Their blades are also light weight so in a close clash, they tend to need to force out the use of more power when dueling.

Feral Battler:
This a rather odd class that uses clawed weapons like katars on their hands to battle with, or fans with blades on them. They move about in a wild mannerism, enabling them to twist and turn in every which way while fighting an opponent with extremely high speed attacks. They have little defense, but are able to move in fluid patterns to avoid a lot of damage.

Specter Reaper:
A rare class that fights with a long bladed staff, or scythe in battle. They have long range and strength that allows them to knock a\enemies away before they can inflict damage, but at close range they can have trouble keeping enemies at bay with such long weapons.

Martial Bane:
Physical combat is the key to victory with this class. They use weapons such as a gauntlet, or blades attached to their feet to battle, and are able to deliver swift blows to opponents. Their defense is pretty sound as well.

Elixir Mage:
A class that uses magick spells to heal others and themselves. They have rather poor defense, but their spells can raise the stats of other members in the party and themselves. They fight with rods, or staves.

Steam Gunner:
A Character Class that uses weapon like a gun, or rifle to shoot enemies. Te shots can deliver fast damage and from afar rip through defenses. There is usually a blade attached to their weapon, but at times instead of a mere rifle, or gun, characters in this class have rare weapons that are giant cannons that fire focused energy from them.

Warlock:
These characters cast spells from either a spell book that is rune plated on a staff. or a mystic chakram that floats behind them and enables the use of spells from their hands. Physical damage from a user like this is very low, but once a spell is cast, it can turn the tides of a battle very fast, and leave massive damage inflicted upon a foe.

Xth Shooter:
A class rewarded to specific characters when they create their characters by a code input from apparel and name. This class is capable of using two small pistols of many sorts, or laser blasters that sit on the shoulders. They fire high rate attacks , but as a down fall the shots are weaker the farther away they get, but inverse stronger up close. The laser blasters have high power regardless, but have no extra weapon. The pistol type weapon users get a weapon slot for a blade that fuses with their gun.

Rules
This is pretty much an rp for anyone to join, which why for veterans, noobs, newbs, or anything in between, making a template is simple. I won't make a long list of rules, because the usual stuff in implied, such as no GM, or power-playing, and after the actual role play starts to use this thread for OOC posting.

However during battles, things change. Please try to be accurate, and to make things simple if multiple fights are involved, state in OOC at the bottom of your post who was attacked, and how.Continuing from that kind of information, slight power playing is allowed during fights. An example is saying that you kicked someone, or something of the sort and it connected, because the fight will flow better that way. Observe below...

Age/Appearance
Seru has the appearance of a partial specter. For the most part the body is non existent. Seru appears to be nothing more than a floating suit of upper armor. there are no legs or anything below the area that is where it's knees should be........

Starting at the head, Seru's face is covered by a helmet like mask that is hardened with a material that appears to be like both bone, rock, and also energy all at once. The long black hair flows down to the base of the Seru's neck, and at the top of the head is parted so the horns are able to stick up with their curve and not be covered by hair from the head.

The makeup of the armor reflects the entire body itself. There is an obvious skeleton motif being used for structure, but there are quite a few traditional Chinese elements being used, such as with the shoulders and how they stack upon each other. The large black spikes on each side of the shoulders, and then again on the sides of the shoulders are sharp and can be used as weapons to ram into players with if needed, but they also set off the strong arms of the armor.

Like the rest of the shell like body that Seru has, the arms are made up of a solid, yet energy based substance of bone that taper down into skeletal fingers that are sharpened like claws.

The entire armor of Seru is symbolic. Upon close inspection you can see that there is a skeletal monster's face placed on the armor itself. It is augmented in the middle. The eyes are the most noticeable aspect, as these are the gleaming blue jewels lined with yellow underneath on the chest. The rib-cage near the lower area is the face's top set of teeth. The pelvis is the lower jaw, and the ab sash and flap of the armor is representation of the tongue. Though not always present, or completely visible to other players, Seru has a set of phantasmal wings.

Persona
(Seru is rather displaced by personality. It doesn't seem to have a set persona compared to how others would act in any given situation. Seru talks a lot and acts as if there is never anything going wrong, but it can be off quite a bit sometimes. One could say that Seru is a bit inclined to have an attitude problem and says a lot of very distasteful phrases.......)

Class/s
(Seru's appearance and form doesn't hint at any of the known character classes in "The World NeV", but based on what has been seen of Seru in battle and the enormous cannon that it uses, along with some thin blade with a roaring aura around it, Seru gets classed as a Steam Gunner, and a Sword Brandier.)

Weapons

Fragment Sabre-
This blade has a very sharp edge on it, and it so lightweight that Seru seems to be able to use it holding it between two of its fingers. The blades mysterious and sleek design matches that of Seru itself. The entire weapon seems to be only partially physical in nature as it is actually harder to see than a normal weapon. In the light it sometimes appears as if only a part of the blade is present. On top of the odd appearance of the weapon it is held together by some from of energy, and Seru doesn't even need to hold this weapon to send it hacking away at foes.....

The blade itself can slice and cause an array of damaging attacks, yet pulses of energy move a flit around the blade as well, and these alone can acts as blades that cut and cause pain and suffering to enemies struck by this blade.

Fragment Shot-
This massive cannon materializes from a single metal plate that moves from Seru's wrist, building upon itself and forming a weapon of literal mass destruction. shifting itself around the arm of Seru almost up to the shoulder, the plates expand and contract, firing pulses of concentrated elemental energy at foes depending on Seru's choice of attack. An elemental burst is merely one selection of attack that Seru can chose from however. By tapping the plate above the wrist, the cannon will fire shots of energy of an unknown substance that seems to erase matter, having power so strong that it displaces and disperses the matter it hits.

Not only does this cannon fire blasts of this pure, and compact energy, but the plates themselves, spin rapidly, and can be fired as sharp blades to dice enemies apart.

History
Ryou Misaki isn't the kind of company head whom sits backs and makes all of his employees do everything. When problems arise he makes sure to handle the problem himself, or at least be involved with any way that can be used to fix something gone wrong. Thus he created the player for "The World NeV" named Seru. This was done in secret and none knows of whom this character is, yet Ryou still remembers the days when he fought alongside all of his friends as Haseo, the Terror of Death.....

Seru is an enigma character in the game whom operates like any other character does. Just in secret ways, and does things that other characters don't seem to be able to. Okay, so Seru seems like an AI to some, but the way it acts makes for the question of if somebody is controlling it, or not. Inside the game, Seru has done numerous things to make itself known, respected, feared, hated and the like. It is more of a round about character, keeping to itself, but not so that it has not made any "friends"

To some, Boa might come off as beautiful, to others she could come off as a monstrosity. To some she might be considered both, as she is something that when looked upon is not normal by nay means in nature, yet who has the right to define the term "normal" as is??

Boa stands at a height of 5'10 and 3/4 inches. Her body type is on the slim side, yet still toned from what is visible as she seems to be wearing no clothing so to speak, but she is not naked. She looks to be about 18.

Her face is more than average, but based on how you look at it can come off as a bit scary. Her eyes and overall facial expression seem a bit cold, most likely because of the membrane of substance that is covering her face all the way up t the cheeks. Boa has long hair that extends down her back to her waist that is a dark chestnut brown color.

Moving down to her overall body, her frame is well built, and not overly revealing unless you look at it that way. Because she is covered in some substance, Boa's skin in most areas is fused with a grey metallic covering, that is formed over her entire body other than a small space from her neck between her breasts, and spots on her lower back, and legs.

Boa's arms seem to have a thicker more focused form of this material than the rest of her body, as the arms have spikes protruding from them, that go to the wrist, and dull on the hand, but her fingers are also all clawed, and these sharp claws can rip through even sharp metal and stone.....

Persona
(She can be a bit crude at times, though her personality is a bit warped, she tends to flow with active valor in daily activity, which is definitely something that reflects upon her early child hood up to her present age. Boa isn't conceited, nor over confident, she just seems to believe that she will be victorious, even when the odds might be against her, which may be a bit off.....)

Weapons

Floral Halliphax-
This is the set of dual guns that Boa uses in battle. They are small guns that are actually shaped like a twister of thick flowers. The handle that curves down is three stems; that of a magenta Rose in the middle, a green Lilly on the left side, and a black Lilly on the right. The intertwined stems are all partially translucent, which allows for the liquid like energy substance that flows through them to be seem as she moves the guns. The buds of the three flowers line up, and when the guns are used, they fire rapid shots of energy that have a dominant effect of breaking into defenses and paralysis. The shots can be charged and fired off as a pulse of multicolored radial energy from all three flower buds at once, but normally the shots cycle from flower to flower.

Natural Alnaphar-
A set of blades for her gins that Boa won after fighting in a tournament. These blades and her guns are actually part of a set unlike how many other Xth shooters just combine weapon parts. Teal colored light flows from the bottom of her guns as this weapon. From a distance it doesn't look like much of a weapon and the same goes for up close however when used the mist like energy can cause huge gashes and rips from a tiny cut. The secret is that when looking directly at the blade you can not see the mist covering leaf shaped multitudes of metal and substance that make up the weapon. The mist can invert and the blades can flow free, tripling the length of the weapon........

History
Boa is rather infamous inside the game for her fierce demeanor and ambushes. For a player of her status there are quite a few enemies she has made even though everyone knows that she is a skilled player. Her past in "The World" is rather violent, as she was one to pick a fight with anybody for nearly any reason. For no particular reason she likes to kill other players, and fight monsters that are much stronger than her in supposedly secret areas.
