Hello my Nightmarish Halloweenians!

IF you're in my Nightmare Before Christmas Fanclub than you can join this. This challenge is only exclusive for the Nightmare Before Christmas Fanclub members. IF you aren't a member of the club and you would like to participate you must Private Message me or +:Brandy:+. You need to talk to one of us first to get permission to participate if you aren't a club member. The easiest way would be just to join the club. But like I said just talk to one of us. Here's a link to The Nightmare Before Christmas Fanclub if you're interested in joining.


What we are going to do in this challenge is a series of bloopers. We will be taking scenes or making up scenes for the Nightmare Before Christmas movie. An example of what I'm talking about is a Harry Potter blooper topic that I started on another forum. We would take scenes from the books or movies and mess them up. What we were doing was making a joke out of it. Here is one example of what I'm talking about:

Example:

Setting: Forbidden Forest
Characters: Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Hagrid
Description: They are looking for the monster that's been attacking the unicorns
Director: 1...2...3...Action!

"Ye see tha over there Harry?" Asked Hagrid
"See what?" Replied Harry
"I think he means the silver stuff on the trees." Replied Ron
"Yup. Tha's unicorn blood there. Wha evers been attacking these unicorns is pretty vicious. I wan you three to look for the blood on the trees. It's a trail and it should lead you to the culprit."
"Okay. But where's Hermionee?" Asked Harry
"I don't know she was here when we first got here." Said Ron, "Should we go look for her?"
"Nah, Don' worry abou' it. Hermione can take care of her self. Never seen a finer witch anywhere." Said Hagrid beaming.
"HELP ME!" Screamed Hermione
Hagrid looked stricken. "WE'RE COMING HERMIONE." Hagrid yelled back
The three ran to where they had heard the sound of her voice. When they found her she was laughing.
"What happened?" Asked Ron frightened with his wand out
"Oh, nothing." Grinned Hermione, "I just wanted to see how scared you would get if you thought that I was in danger. The look is cute on you Ron you should wear it more often." She grinned
"Oh boy." Sighed Harry

Director: CUT!
Director: That's it! I'm sick and tired of this. That wasn't in the script.
Hermionee: Sorry director. But I have to be so serious all the time. I thought just this once I could have a little fun.
Director: Fun? Do you know how much patience and will power it's costing me to not quit this job. Better yet quit directing all together?
Ron: No, but I'm pretty sure you wouldn't mind enlightening us.
Directer: *scowls*

This is not an ongoing story like in most role plays, in fact it is a competition to see who is funnier. There are going to be three judges. Me, +:Brandy:+, and a third person that we are still currently looking for. The winner of each challenge will receive reputation points from one of the judges.

Me and +:Brandy:+ have the right to refuse your entry if we feel it isn't appropriate, we can also deny you participation for any reason if we deem it necessary!

You have to be a member of the Nightmare Before Christmas Fanclub! If you aren't then you must Private Message me or +:Brandy:+ before you post!

All entries must be at least a paragraph or it wont be judged!

You must use the same format that was used in the example. You at least have to include the setting, characters, and the description so we can get an idea of what you're blooper is about.


Have Fun! This is meant for the club members enjoyment, it isn't serious. There is no need for anyone to hold any grudges for any reason. It's all for kicks!

Judges can't participate!

I will edit this post when we get the third judge and some challengers. If you want to be a judge you must submit an entry and send it to me or +:Brandy:+. Judges can't participate in any of the challenges, so think twice before you submit an entry. The rules will be changed if necessary. I will also post the winner of the challenges on this post. to be a judge, all you have to do is submit a bit of work for me and spyells to look over [via pm to both of us] and we will narrow it down to two. then we will post their work on here to be voted on by the members, and the person with the most votes gets it.

Like she said, if you want to be a judge you can't participate in the competition. So think twice about it before you submit your work.

I'm thinking about joining this but can you answer this question for me:

So we're just taking bloopers out of the movie or we roleplaying...that part kinda confused me.

If you clear this up with me, then I'm good!

You can take a real scene from the movie and mess it up, or you can make up your own scene. It's all up to you. I hope I made that clear enough.

question 1: are judge positions still open? if not do not bother to read questions 2 and 3.

question 2: i have no internet at home so Saturday/Sunday are out of the question for online time. will that effect anything if i were to apply as a judge?

question 3: what do you want us to submit for you to look over exactly an RP post, a poem, a short story, a chapter from a fanfic or what?
