I made a new layer, then clicked and dragged my pic onto my new layer. But now it won't show up.

Do you have the little eye thingy turned on for the layer?

Still can't get the different layers to show up in the animation viewer, btw. . .

take a selection tool, mark the image and then drag it.

The image your trying to use is probably an index, so you have to mark it and then cut i out.

Okay, now it shows up, along with the white surrounding it. I cut it out, but the white is still there when I move it onto the background.

edit: nevermind, I figured it out.
