Hey everyone, I'm here to tell you how to make one of the type of sigs I make! This is the sig I submitted into my clan's banner assignment. If you want to know the program I use, it is Adobe Photoshop CS2.

Here is the sig you are going to be making:


1. Click File>New... and set your width and height(I used 400x150, but you can use whatever you want.) Then go to Edit>Fill and use black or if your foreground color is black just use foreground color.

2. Using grundge brushes, brush white on the sig, then brush black on the sig.

3. Pick a stock or 2 and drag them onto the canvas. On one of the stocks with the most color, dupilcate it and go to Filter>Blur>Motion Blur and use the settings: Angle: 45 Distance: 50. Then dupe that and move it to a different spot on the sig, do the same again as many times as you want until the sig is covered. Merge all of the motion blur layers and put it under your stock layers. Set that layer to overlay.

4. Duplicate each stock and set the duped layers to soft light. Go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur and put it to 5 on the duped stocks. Then Merge Down them to the originals. Create a new layer on top of all layers and go to Image>Apply Image. Set that layer to soft light and go to Filter>Sharpen> Sharpen More. Use a white grundge brush and brush the areas that need to be lightened(if needed).

5. Take the lasso tool and set the feather to 15px and draw around one of your stocks on the stock layer. Add a layer mask by clicking on the square with a circle in it below the layers pallette. Do the same with the other stock.

6. Take your gradient tool and use the settings in the pic. Draw a line down your sig. Set the gradient layer to soft light and 50% opacity. Put this layer below the stock layers.

7. Now for text. Get the vertical type tool and type in what u want. I typed "LUG" with Japanese symbols in front and after it(I got that font from dafont.com). Right click the text layer and click Blending Options. Use these settings:

8. The last part is the border. Create a new layer above all and press Crtl+A. Go to Edit>Stroke and use these settings: http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/2048/9bg6ze.png (for the color I eyedropped a light color)

Photoshop... Fireworks... Programs u can buy... if that's what you mean. They cost a bit over 100 if you look good u may get one for cheaper... or u could get it illigally. But yeah. Once you do, join Leveled Up Graphics... you'll have a blast there.
