Animation Effects

I always get pm of how tooo make good effects, soo here is tut how too make really nice effects also if you have an effect you want to share you can post it here the first one is

snow and petals effect-

snow and petals effect is easy too do so, if your a n00b then this is very easy too do

first save this effect i made with some brushes


then goo open it at photoshop use your magic eraser and erase the blue on all the layers, then just copy it the first layer and merge it with your animation first layer, and then goo too back and copy the 2nd layer of snow and paste it on the 2nd layer of yoour animation get it, once you get too layer 5 on the snow, redo the whole thing agian start from layer one and soo on.
Too get the petal effect use the hue/staturation and change the color too pink too get too the hue/staturation go too
enhance---->adjust color---->hue/stauration
if done right you can get your animation too be like this animation i done

Black effect-

The simpilest thing too do out all of the effect only use this effect when someone gets hurt, pretend someone gets hurt and you need too use this effect, first take the layer with the sprite that you want the black effect on and duplicate it and the bg has too be transparent, now take that duplicated layer and put it on exclusion after that merge them together, now make a new layer fill it with black by using the paint tool, now take the layer with the black put underneath the layer that you just merge toogether and you should get like a x ray type of looking stuff here is the example

Disappearing, Reapearing -

this is for kind of advance people but it is not hard if you are ok, first take your layer with your sprite and duplicate it and use that layer the duplicated one and go too filter---->pixelate---->fragment, once you click it you will see like multiply version of your sprite, then go back too your first layer and duplicate it agian and drag that duplicated layer and make it your third layer, now on that layer click ctrl+f two times, that would make the fragment filter be use two times, now goo back too your first layer and duplicate it agian, and drag the dupliacted layer and make it your fourth layer, now on that that layer click on ctrl+f 3 times, now goo back too your first layer duplicate it and drag the duplicated layer and make your 5th layer and press ctrl+f 4 times, now make 2 new layers and dont doo nothing now goo preview it and you will see it dissappear in a nice way remeber too set the delay on it 1 sec when using this effect since it will look nicer

tooo make it repear doo the same thing but backward like duplicate your first layer agian, and drag but now press ctrl+f 4 times, and do the the duplaicate thing agian with your first layer, and drag press ctrl+f 3 times, i think by now you got the process duplicate, drag, press ctr+f and count it down, so after three comes 2 times, then 1 times, for zero duplicate the first sprite drag it and just leave it as it is thats all here is the example

Blurs-

blurrs are actually one of the best stuff for using when making effects soo here is how too use some of them properly


Motion blur- this effect been used many times, here is how too use it when your about too end something copy the last layer of your animation goo too
filter---->blur ---->motion blur, after you click that slect the angle you want and move the degress up by 10 and press ok, now paste the same layer you copy agian go back too motion blur an move up 10 more, doo the same thing over agian in till you have 8 layers if you want and it will give your animation a nice effect too end it and re start it you also could do this on a text which would make it look nice

radial blur- this is like a zoom effect blur, too this click on the layer you want this too be one it and goo too filter---->blur--->radial blur, just fool around with it in till you find something you like and here is an example

ohhh. but you don't go to enhance----adjust color---hue saturation cuz it's not there.. you go to image----adjustments-----hue/saturation. but that doesn't do anything except change the color of the layer....i'm confused. bah i give up
