| Plat. | What makes PS better than GIMP? I only have had GIMP for a short while, and I always here and see great things from PS, but doesn't GIMP do most of the same things? |

| Been there, destroyed that. | Gimp =/= PS. PS is more advanced and usually comes out with better results. |

| space for rent | GIMP can do everything PS can but takes a lot more effort. From my personal experience the whole setup is confusing with every tool and setting having it's own pop-out window and the program itself just seems to hate you. haha like PS has a lot of helpful assistants and clearly labeled tools while GIMP just has everything all over the place and trying to multitask feels impossible. |

| judge magister daniel | also if you're actually going to go full out and say that gimp=photoshop, in the real world it doesn't even matter. Even if they are the same, even if Gimp was better, it wouldn't matter at all. Why? Because photoshop is a commercial product. It has technical support, industrial support, commercial support, it's part of a set of 10-something other creative programs. If Gimp fucks up, you haven't got any license or warantee or anything, you've just got a broken gimp. If Photoshop, or any of the other Creative Suite programs for that matter, screws up or malfunctions, Adobe's got answers. so quit with the idealism and start thinking realistically |
