Well you should you get to know photoshop (basic controls), then look up some helpful tuts.

This is for me to do exactly that and learn my way around. I can learn things better by diving in. So this is for people to challenge me and see what I can do, and to help me when I fall so I can learn.

^Sure thats one way. But I'm telling ya you'll learn ALOT more just from using one good tut.
Like so I didn't know how to get depth at all but when I look up this tut on depth
No concept of Depth

Some Concept on depth

Cnc will help but it just shows whats wrong with you tag how to improve upon it , not really how to build up on skills. It doesn't teach you,(well very little) how to do new things on the program.

Well look on some other graphic forums they have really good tuts, or google some tuts.
