Not before.
So which one is it?

Like I've said, and you said it yourself.... you have to read it all in order to understand it all.

You can read the Bible without sitting down and reading every single verse. I skipped whole books, to be honest. Bible has some good stories, but is also full of shit.

Find me four hundred Christians that have read the entire Bible, verse by verse. And I mean your average, not senior citizen Christian, not the old retirees that want to make one last effort to get into heaven.

So, in a straight answer. Have you read the whole Bible? Even if you havent analyzed it all?

I for one dont think the Bible should be sold =/ but anyway so you are telling me, that out of 6 billion plus people on earth, I can not find over 400 people who have read the whole Bible?..... hmmm.... okay, but I already have anyway. Whether they understand it or not i know a lot personally... hundreds and have met many many others who have read it all.

Except the Psalms, which bored me. It wasn't even a straight read, a book today, a book tomorrow, randomly picked.

No, I'm saying that people that don't study theology usually have other stuff to read. I haven't met anyone that treats the Bible like any other book, and stay at it for weeks until you're done. They read a couple of verses, and go to sleep.

I myself am not completely atheist. I have no problem believing in a divine creator if it happens to be true, but if not, I really don't care. Never significantly made a difference to me anyway. I see it, the only way you can completely understand something like this is to completely eradicate all possibilities of a god or deity existing through your own research. However I'd like to note that individuals should always be doing this in completion, instead of viewing just one side; which, in my discussions with others, has shown me that most Christians, especially teenagers and younger individuals, have done just that: only viewed one side. Though we all know this ... so I won't repeat much there. lul

Primarily this one side is generally the Christianity, or other major religion of choice. It sits as somewhat of a paradigm with at least 75% of families (in America, at least) having religion introduced to the children when they are young. Though this also happens to atheists, and more and more of it is happening. I've seen that not only have atheists started to directly parallel most other religious individuals in terms of stubbornness, but fight it at the same ferocity ("it" being the religion at hand).

My views on atheism--a term that I really don't like to use--are that if there is no god, we have to understand that we as a species grow and evolve and shed older incorrect beliefs. Atheism to me isn't some depressing system, either. If we're all organisms sharing our life on the planet, then I feel extremely grateful I had the chance to experience it and have the time to really understand it.

But I also don't think that because I might not believe in something that I'm somehow different from anyone else. We're all human and are all interconnected and the same, in deep ways, imo.

Well, isn't that one of the duties of Christians? To spread Christianity around the world?

Kinda hypocritical, really. "Thou shalt not kill!" Look at the Crusades. India. America. China & Japan. Many countries screwed over cuz people were forced into Christianity.

As you can tell, I'm Athiest XD

I believe in spirituality, which is the base of every religion

knowing right from wrong and helping others is better than having a certain set a rules tell you that if u do this you go to hell, and if u do that u go to heaven. Ill eat pork as much as i want, i dont see any thunder striking me down.

I'm not Athiest, but i dont believe in religion i either.

a moral of life was not guided by a set of rules. freewill is an essence

I myself am a Christian.I dont really care about Atheists. How was the first human created? Why does the Bible exist?People have their own answers to those problems. Some say its science and some say its God.We would never know would we?But still......did someone just have the time to put fake beliefs into billions of peoples heads?I dont think so.For the atheists.Do you believe the world is going to end?

I'm perfectly OK to lay the blame on mindless sheep whose only intent is to follow their pastor's words, whatever they say. They are just as responsible for all the killings as those who carried them out.

The major problem I have with Christianity is that it requires you to follow the teachings of an inanimate object, which is stupid. It also limits your viewpoints on life, which is sad.
