Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Okay Humanity is not perfect, it has never been perfect, and will never be perfect. Its human nature to lie about things, cheat to do better at something, eat a lot to live, laze around, and want to be rich. It’s what keeps you alive. God gave you these things to do just that survive. It’s when things are not used for survival but as a want that turns into a need is when it becomes a sin. Think of it like if you love something and that something replaces God then it’s a sin. Things that you think are wrong are things you shouldn't do. It’s as easy as that. That gut feeling is best thing to go by for choices. Such manipulation where your act benefits the less fortunate is possible but complicated. It all depends on what you have done benefits uncorrupted humanity such as a murderer on the run or if you help a person escape violent prejudice. It’s when it benefits the first one is when it becomes a sin. WWJD and what would my grandma think is all you have to think. ''Would Jesus cheat on this test?'' ''Would my grandma approve of me looking at his/her paper?'' ''Would Jesus kill this man?'' ''Would my grandma think this man deserving the punishment or pointless death?'' That's it. |

| Blaaargh! | Would Jesus lie to save a few dozen Jews from being tortured, abused and brutally murdered? You're the Christian, you tell me. Would my grandma? Pretty sure she would. |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | If it was God's will yes. Grandma would try to stop any kind of human death that is not justified by a reasonable person. To answer your question I would lie to save the people yes. No one deserves death no matter what their crimes and if the person did nothing or at least nothing known to me then death is not just out of the question but a crime against humanity. I yield to any comments. |

| Blaaargh! | Then we have no conflict. You'd lie to save people, I'd lie to save people, and both of us would do it a thousand times if need be. My comments were really directed at Axel owns with the nazi thing, and you just kind of appeared out nowhere <.< |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Well, for the Grandma and WWJD question, Grandma is a human being, likle the rest of us. I personally believe she would lie, or simply not answer. But as for Jesus, he wouldn't have to lie, actually the Bible says he can't lie. He's perfect. |

Of course the Egyptians were some pretty harsh slave-drivers, but you see God delivered Israel out of there, so obviously He didn't approve. | |

ALSO: indentured servitude(which is paying off ones debt by physical work) is not slavery. It's paying off ones debt, with physical work. Its the same as working for a few years to pay off ones mortgage. Just more direct. Quote:
