To me as a Christian, it is what they are doing, not who they are (even if what they are doing is who they are)

With me it is just like any other sin.

Because if somebody lied to me I am not going kill them and hate them for, nor would I do the same for someone who is homosexual.

As I said before in most major religions it does say in one place or another that homosexuality is something sinful, however in the Christian Bible doesn't it only show up once in the Old Testament? Or am I wrong?

Because in that case it's not a sin according to Christianity (or at least some translations), because the rules in the Old Testament (except the ten commandments which are repeated in the new testament) were done away with due to the fulfillment of the prophecies by Jesus.

If you question whether or not it's a sin, it means you have the ability to form your own opinions on matters, and not rely so heavily on the Bible to form them for you. If anything, it shows a strong curiosity to learn more about matters such as religion.
