According to the bible, only humans have souls and if you don't have a soul you don't go to heaven or hell. Animals just become one with the earth or something like that.
But from a psychological sense, every living being has a soul, even plants and such. I mean, cmon, what if someone had a venus fly trap as a companion, and wanted assurance that it was going to a better place when it died. Why do we deserve a better place more than animals. Animals do not "sin", because they do not know how to sin and only live by instinct. Doesn't that give them the right to go to heaven?
Or, if anyone has watched the Simpsons, you've heard all about doggy heaven and hell...

I think that all thinks with souls have an afterlife, and I guess animals cant sin so they go to heaven or if they dont go to heaven they are reincarnated back to an animal

i am not sure if animals go to heaven cuz in the bible it says that animals do not have souls so there for they cant go to heaven or hell because they are souless creatures but if u go to heaven i bet u could ask god to recreate your pet for u
