Anyway, v_a, this forum disproved the Trinity, of course, but it has also disproved the belief that Lucifer and Satan are the same thing, and it has disproved the modern idea of hell, continuously, I might add.

Pardon my ignorance/zeal, but how did you dispell the Trinity? Or Hell, for that matter? And what does everyone here seem to have against Christianity? I can understand having a distaste for it, but most people seem to have some sort of burning hatred of the faith.

Jesus refers to himself time and again as inferior to the Father. He will return to his Father and his God, neither he nor the angels know the time of the Second Coming, and so on and so forth.

Or Hell, for that matter?

Read Hell topic. Hell is a vague term, and I only use it for the modern idea of Hell. We have shown that the term hell is used instead of the correct terms, such as Sheol, which is grave, Hades, which is the state of invisiblity and unconsciousness, Gehenna, which was a physical place, etc. The Bible says that after death, sinners die.

And what does everyone here seem to have against Christianity? I can understand having a distaste for it, but most people seem to have some sort of burning hatred of the faith.

I deal with christians every day, no problem. The annoyance is at christians who keep bringing the same topic for the 5th time after it's been disproved.

im not atheist, so i cant say why, youll need one of them to tell you.

and i already told you. trinity says father, son and holy spirit are all equal, but the father cant be equal to the son. the trinity didnt even exist until the thrid century, whena bishop thought of it.

as for hell, its wasnt exactly disproved, it was just proved that the bible didnt say much about it, so we dont know what its like.

oh and pho, if you dont mind, could you tell me what lucifer and satan are? i know their different(andi think their wasa thrid one, the fourth one being leviathan, i think) but what are they

Wrong, don't sugar coat it, we prove the Bible says sinners will die, not be tortured. The world "torture" apparently doesn't even appear in the Bible.

Lucifer was a Babylonian King, Satan is one of God's angels and his job is to tempt man and be his accuser.

I think I'll chock the Trinity contradictions to human error or perhaps a misinterpritation (Sorry, I'm just stubborn. What you're saying makes sense, but I've got a whole childhood for your logic to contend with.), but I'll look into the matter of Hell.

Doesn't God also proclaim that everyone's equal in his eyes? I'm thinking moreover that the equalisty of the Trinity refers to the rights of it's three points, not power or status or something.

You're probably right, although the witch thing doesn't really apply. That's human error, and was brought about by individuals for their own twisted reasons. Unless, of course, the religion becomes corrupt along with the people...

Humans are fallable. It's not really a secret. They can understand, but they can also screw up. I don't have complete faith in God, assuming that there is a God, but I believe that he's at least better than humans (which, since Jesus was technically a human, kinda disproves the whole Holy Trinity thing...Ugh...I'm confused...)...
You know what, forget it. I don't know enough about my own religion to keep this up ._.
