Judaism 101 - An encyclopedia of Judasim that contains information on beliefs, holidays, and more.

Schauwecker's guide to Japan: Shinto - This site introduces the beliefs, customs, and worship practices of the Shinto faith.

Sikhism - This web-site covers the origins, philosophy and way of life for the followers of Sikhism.

The Baha'i Faith - Description of the Baha'i faith, its beliefs, and sacred writings.

The Hindu University - Look along the left column for links to basic information on the Hindu religion.

What is Christianity - Discription of Christianity and its traditions.

Zoroastrianism - Basic information about the Zorastrian beliefs.

It's always a neccesity to learn about the world's major religions. There is no way for understanding one another if we do not research it. <3

Well, it is where the idea of Purgatory came from. And it'd be kind of silly for a 'brew to look up Zoroastrianism if they want to find info on their religion. D:

o-o Purgatory is Catholicism, not Judaism. Or, at least I don't think Judaism has a belief of Purgatory. I know Catholocism does, but I don't know about Judaism, in all honesty I don't think I understand exactly what it is they believe about the afterlife even after reading their link. x-x

Perhaps, I don't really know either. I do know that Zoro influenced many beliefs and changes in doctrine for the religions in the area. They did supposedly inspire the angelology and demonology of Judeo-Christian belief, as well.

They do, seeing as catholocism almost mirrors judism in both there faith(both, majorities, are extremely devoted to there religion, to the point that outsiders are seen as evil) and strictness(by that i mean in both ancient, catholics and jew, governments had a death sentance for not following the text correctly).

I read somewhere in the old testament about purgatory so maybe it was there, or maybe it's just a bad translation.
