Something hit me as I was watching it last night, huey, the smart kid on the show, he explained a bit of the TRUE history of christmas. Let me relay some of it's points to you;

1. Christmas is not a protestant or catholic christian holiday, it's pagan.

2. The story of Christ's birth is VERY strange. Jesus was born at the end of December, in Jerusalem no? Well, do you realise how cold the palestinian winter is? It would range like, 7 degrees at nighttime in the winter there, and yet, there were three wise men that trekked a journey to see him in that cold. Another part being, what the heck would a shepherd be doing outside with his flock not only at that time of night, but in those temperatures, it's completely insane.

3. Last point, what the heck does Santa have to do with anything anyway? The christian view/form of St. Nick was taken from the muslims, who was originally arabic, not white.
1- yes, that's why in my house we don't actually have Christmas trees, that's why at my church we called call it Easter, we call it Resserrection Sunday. and that's why we don't celebrate Halloween.

2- Schalors say Jesus was actually born in the fall, no the winter.

3- Santa! Yay somebody asked the same question I always wondered. But I found the answer. Santa was man from Turkey. He was a very kind mand who gave his hand-made toys to children in his village. When he died children were not told and the parents told thier children that he moved. He moved to the north pole where the elves wanted him to live so they could help him continue to make toys for people. This stupid lie spread and all of a sudden parents all over the place were tellling their children this lie.

Spring, actually, or so I've read.
