I am not sure if this is for this section (please moderators move this topic if so) but this may just be the first contest show that may be worth watching.

Big prize for Godless contestants seeing light - The Irish Times - Fri, Jul 03, 2009

Four spiritual guides from the different religions will seek to convert at least one of the 10 atheists in each programme to their faith.
Those persuaded will be rewarded with a pilgrimage to the spiritual home of their newly chosen creed – Mecca for Muslims, Jerusalem for Christians and Jews, and Tibet for Buddhists.

1. Shouldn't they be called agnostics?
2. Couldn't they fake it?
3. Buddhists and Jews don't actively convert people.

I find this pretty insulting. It is their choice to not believe in God. They are forcing their religion onto them. If anything, this will just make them turn away from God even more.

Exactly what i thought, it won't be that hard to pretend. And dogen, most of it is, but national geographic is pretty good, discovery was good too before it had all those car and bike programmes.

I dislike this idea because it's inevitably putting someone's beliefs on sale and making their belief (or lack of belief) superficial.
