Default What is it called?
What is called when you believe in God, but you believe that God uses science to create things. (for example: God created the Big Bang.).

That's kinda ironic, bielving that, since science and God are two completly seperate things.

Saying God created the Big Bang is another way of saying God created the universe.

I'm pretty sure it's Christian, because you're still bielving God created everything.

That's only assuming that the God you refer to is the Biblical god, and even then to be Christian is to accept Jesus.

So then which god are you referring to? The Christian god, or some other god?


Possible religions that find a mesh between science and religion? Bahá'í, Hinduism, liberal Christianity, Buddhism, and probably many others.

What does this have to do with alchemy or atheism?

I'd say that this area of thought is simply 'christian science', the poorly attempted merging of two idea systems, essentially saying that science is right, but God is the source. From this train of thought came intelligent design, utter horseshit that says that nature's design that is useful to Man proves the existence of God, basically a Christian-style dumbed down version of evolution.

There's a video on youtube, just search intelligent design.

I know what you mean, though you describe it mediocre.

What you mean is the belief that the Big Bang is the cause of the universe as we know it, but that it is created by God. Meaning he started the fire that caused all the existence in life. Evolution exists, except the act of God that created the Big Bang was the source of it.



The name? It could be Intelligent Design, actually.
