Rep Power: 1 ![]() | The greatest need for each of us on planet Earth is to know for certain that Heaven will be our eternal home. What if in your lifetime you gain fame and fortune, and enjoy every comfort and pleasure, but then die and end up in Hell? Would you call that success? Of course not. The good news is that life need not end that way. Jesus invites you to be saved today and share His Heaven eternally. There are not many ways to Heaven. There is only one way to Heaven. Jesus didn't say following Him is one of a bunch of ways to get to Heaven. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to The Father except through me." Can you trust the Bible? Absolutely! Bible prophecy proves the divine inspiration of The Word of God. The Bible is different from all other religious books. The books that form the foundation for other major religions and cults interpret the present or deal with the past, but the Bible, when written, was 25 percent prophecy. From Genesis to Revelation, countless prophecies were given, and most have been exactly fulfilled. This confirms the authorithy, validity, and divine inspiration of the Bible. There are ten prophetic signs that precede Christ's second coming. 1. The knowledge explosion (Daniel 12:4) 2. Plague in the Middle East (Zechariah 14: 12-15) 3. The rebirth of Israel (Isaiah 66: 8-10) 4. The Jews will return home (Jeremiah 23: 7-8) 5. Jerusalem no longer under Gentile control (Luke 21:24) 6. International instant communication (Revelation 11:3,7-10) 7. Days of deception (Matthew 24:4) 8. Famines and pestilence (Matthew 24: 7-8) 9. Earthquakes (Matthew 24: 7-8) 10. "As in the days of Noah..." (Matthew 24: 36-39) Say "yes" to Jesus today because of the reality of your sin. "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked..."(Jeremiah 17:9) God looks down at the human race and sees that every heart is desperately wicked. He tells us that "all have sinned". (Romans 3:23) There are two ways you can deal with your sin. You can ignore Christ and pay for your sins eternally in Hell, or you can receive Christ as your Savior and be forgiven of every sin. The wise choice is to receive Him now. Say "yes" to Jesus because of the reality of death. The Bible says "the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23) Someday each of us must die. It may be a long time from now, but it could be today. "Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth." (Proverbs 27:1) Don't risk dying without a Savior. Turn to Jesus right now. Say "yes" to Jesus today because of the reality of God's love. "But God proved His love for us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) God loves you! That is a compelling reason to take Jesus as your Savior right now. Say "yes" to Jesus today because of the reality of the cross. The best known scripture in the Bible says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) Think about that. Jesus willingly died on the cross to pay for your sins. Don't even consider saying "no" to Him again. Receive Him now. Say "yes" to Jesus today because of the reality of your oppurtunity. "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." (Revelation 3:20) This is your great oppurtunity to be saved. As Jesus knocks at the door to your heart, invite Him to come in. Don't wait. Do it today. Say "yes" to Jesus right now. If you want to invite Jesus into your heart, pray this prayer: Dear God, I confess that I'm a guilty sinner and that I need to be saved. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay my sin debt. I believe Jesus has been raised from the dead. Please forgive my sin, come into my heart, and save my soul. I now receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() | Well.... I'll be the first to tell you, I do believe in the Bible 100%..... and it is important for us to learn accurate knowledge of the Bible and not just asked to be save, not just believe in Jesus, but also do God's will. I dont believe in a firey hell or that every good person that accepts Jesus goes to heaven. Or that Jesus died on a cross though as those arent exactly Bible teachings.... Do believe we are in the last days..... but please be warned, you are going to get a lot of pain in this thread lol... as there are many atheists in this forum who will tear your work apart lol |

| EVIL TEDDY BEAR HAY | This thread is oddly suspicious. On a more relevant note, I'm also looking for "truth." So far religion doesn't have what I'm looking for. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() | ^ lol well back on track. You say you are looking for truth, yet religion doesnt have what you are looking for? What do you mean by that? Are you looking for something to suit your needs and wants? or something that has strong basis and proof of reality? |

There's more to what is around us than we think. And by that understanding I'm just looking for something that does have a strong basis on reality and physicality. Religion could be right, maybe. But so could something else. The chances are the same. Except the non-religious point of view has much more backed evidence and understanding. The truth on the religious side is non-examinable. We can't find reason to believe it because it's something that is expected to be simply "Believed." That's what I mean.

Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() | I get you..... The religion Im with isnt like that though. We highly discourage blind faith. Just believing or following what others say.... Rather we encourage lots of research and constant testing to see that we have it right. For me and all others in this growing organization that is universal thinking. We feel we do have strong proofs all around us, but that are not readily seen or accepted by others.... But I get what you are saying pretty much. |

| EVIL TEDDY BEAR HAY | Well the truth is always around you, you just have to realize it. And in a way I think you share that same experience with your religion, which is why there is a truth for everyone. But meh, there is of course one truth. But we don't have much to go off of since it already happened and no one knows. lul |

I searched it up on Wiki, just to see how valid God\s word is, and what's the first prophecy fulfilled? "In Genesis 6, God is quoted as saying "My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years."[1] The oldest recognized people to have lived are a 122 year old female and a 119 year old male." First thing that comes to mind; what's the miracle here? Second of all, apparently He lied, cuz that lady became 122 years. Two years off, God. 712 DAYS!! You're such a terrible liar...
