Default Evolution VS Creation

An old favorite. Which one do you believe in (and what variant) and why?

=P I'd post what I think, but I want to see what others have to say. This should be fun.

EDIT: It just occured to me that this is somewhat similar to the other thread I created about Creationism in schools. Sorry staff, if you feel it's necessary, close this thread.

*sigh* this again?

These threads never get anywhere ._.

Most of the people here besides a few christians believe in evolution.

What'd there to argue? No one ever takes the other's argument seriusly..

You could say the same about this section in general, really.

We can debate points of view, though. And these threads are always fun. It's not like I'm begging you to post here anyway. If you don't feel it's worth yours or anyone else's time, move along.

And anyway, your statement about the majority believing in evolution, while correct, perhaps, doesn't take into account the forum is always changing. We have new members joining practically every day, and we have people leaving as well. I want to see if anyone had anything new to say.

lol this again? yeah. These are just that, arguments, you cant expect anything more from KHI.... even when you dont want to argue, people will keep saying to.... yada yada... and as was said before, most of the people on here dont believe in God or a god, or creation. Its mostly evolution. So yeah this debate will be more of an attack from each side than a discussion.

Fine, no playing around. Why do ostriches and emus have wings

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comd...ndflippers.jpg

Why do we find dolphins with hindlimbs?

Why do animals that thrive on darkness have eyes buried under the skin?

We find dolphins developing legs on an embryo, but the shark doesn't develop these structures. Why?

Again, Smooth, if you feel it's a waste of time, then don't post here. Move along and do something you consider productive. Your post is pretty much spam, you're not contributing anything to the discussion. Also, rarely does anyone "attack" each other here, and if they do, they're punished.

I did try a structured approach to the discussion where mass chaos and disrespect for each side wasnt allowed, but that failed... >.>

Well i'm posting my opinion on the subject.

:D

I think that the whole "Creationism vs. Evolution" subject is one of the biggest wastes of time (IRL too).
No one considers what the other side says, they're so convinced they're right it's useless to try and prove them wrong. It's no fun at all.

just my 2 cents.

peace.

Speak for yourself. I, at least, fully consider I might be wrong and such when debating on such matters. I'd love to be wrong, personally. It's just a lot of the time arguments from creationists, are, forgive me, rather unconvicing.

Well maybe you are just one of the few and thats good. However, if you look through the other threads, its more of an attempt to prove the other side completely wrong without being willing to actually think about the other sides point. Its more a "okay you pointed this out, now let me find something to completely demolish your idea" not "okay you pointed this out, let me look more into it to see where you are coming from"

But who knows maybe this thread will work... or maybe it'll be the same as the previous dozen.

Ask me? I believe there are certain types of evolution, yes, but as for life as we know it to exist, I believe in creation

Maybe you can contribute and help this thread NOT be like that then.

Everybody knows dandelions, right? Well, did you know they reproduce without fertilization?

Why, then, do they have flowers and produce pollen?

So uh, gaiez, I found this: National Geographic is wrong and so was Darwin

lulz. I'm in the process of reading it right now, and already see inaccuracies. I feel intelligent. =D
