You have the right to say good things about him, but he doesn't have the right to say bad things about him.

Makes perfect sense.

^It's jolly good reasoning, if you ask me.

It's not my fault that you're going to just go by and believe what people have told you about God. Perhaps you think you believe he is almighty and wonderful because of how he has so graced your life? No. If the Bible and everyone told you he was as evil as Satan, and Satan was actually good, you would believe it. Try thinking for your own self. Honestly. I'm sure you understand things in my life better than I do, eh? Look, I have my own views on God. You can keep yours. I just suggest you seek yours for yourself. Now, do not think I would be entirely ungrateful if he existed and I could speak to him, but also do not think that I would be entirely grateful to him, either. Why I say what I say to God is of my own personal business and you think you have the right to tell me what I can or cannot, should or should not say to him? That my manner is uncalled for or disrespectful? My manner is no less than serious or what it should be. For me. Your own dealings with him are your own, but try not to take control of mine.

^You obviously dont know me. I do think for myself. Dont judge who you know nothing of. I didnt say you can or cant do stuff. I am saying just go about it in a different tone. To be honest you werent even the person who I was directing the first post to. Question is.... Whyd you take it so personally? You can say whatever you want... even express your disdain... but in a respectful manner. Even if you may not believe in Him... show respect for those who do.

Personal attack.

I don't have the right? That's a personal assault on my liberties. I don't care if it's a forum. Saying that I don't have the right to do something with religion- You think that's okay? It's like bible-thumpers who preach and moan about being saved. You would think that if God loved his children as much as you seem to preach, he would accept them a lot more than is apparent. I'm not saying you're a person who does this, but those who attack people are hypocrites. Listen to one and see how they act on the side. Where Jesus teaches forgiveness, most of these people seem to still leave that to Jesus.

Why did I take it so personally? Well, I think you're reading that it upset me. It really did not offend me as much as you seem to think. As you were so quick to point out, 'you obviously do not know me.' Are you feeling guilty or something? Because I really didn't take it all that personally. But here are some reasons why I might in any way shape or form seem offended: You singled me out. It's not even relevant to the fact of whether or not you know me. You think you have any right to express your own feelings about said person or entity, and yet the next person cannot do the same. Brilliant.

According to you, he is not only your God, but everyone else's. And as such, you are on a no different playing field than anyone else is on. And don't forget that God has had no greater personal contact with you than probably anyone else on earth. And in that sense, how do you know, according to him, if I have a right or not to say things as such? If he's as holy as he should be, can't he understand? Hmm? The creator of all living things. He loves us so much. Sent his own son to die for us to be saved. Created the earth. What developed into our brains. Yet he can't even comprehend reasoning. That doesn't sound right, if you ask me.

And by ordering me to go in a different tone, you are telling me that I'm not allowed to say it in that manner. And that, well, correct me if I'm wrong, signifies that I don't have a right to say that. I think that's a load of crap, personally.

As far as your "first post" is concerned: It was generalized to everyone who was "disrespectful." Considering the placement, attitude, and time of which you said that, do not even hope to think that I'll believe I was not meant to be included in your revulsion of these certain people who posted 'disrespectfully.'

In short, I hope this appeases your questions or concerns, because really.. Your hopes for me to be in a more 'respectful' manner are futile. I'm really not all that inappropriate, even by your standards. And did I imply that you couldn't "ultimately" think for yourself? I think not. Read it over again. It was obviously towards your religious viewpoints. If you were raised in the middle east, I highly doubt you would be a Christian. And I don't want to hear or read an attack about that comment. If I do, it will show obvious ignorance. Just read it, and think about it. I'm not telling you that you are wrong. I'm not telling you that you even have to think about any other religion. I'm just saying that because of how you've been raised, meaning the kind of religious environment, I doubt you started out as a Buddhist or Muslim and converted to the divine grace of God. I'm not saying you didn't, either. But I can only hope you understand what I'm trying to say to you here.

Oh, and if you don't want to be judged- try not to do things that would cause that. I even try to not judge, so if I did indeed judge you as you suggest, well- I can promise you that you must have been being very average and predictable. But I don't know.

...I didn't read this argument, but it seems to me like Prodigy owned you, whoever you are.

Concerning what I'D ask God, I'd have to ask why my life doesn't seem to get any better. *sigh*
