| I Feel So Epic. | It's kinda pointless to talk about now since it happened a couple months ago, but I still want to talk about it. The Christian Trials are basically a part of the new Confirmation program that my church started on a couple years ago, of which I have been on the team in charge of leading the confirmandees throught this right since the beginning of the new program. What basically happens is that the confirmation students hold a trial. A student vollunteers to stand trial for the crime of being a christian. The prosecution tries to prove it by dressing them up as a saint sort of figure, calling on family members, teachers, friends, and one time, even the priest assigned to our parish. Then the defense tries to do what ever they can to disprove it. Once both sides have been heard, the Jury hands their verdict and punishment, which the defendent must carry out, save for death. It is almost entirely done by the confirmation students, and we even had our archdiocese bishop act as one of the judges, the other two being students. So what does everyone think? |

| I Feel So Epic. | The Christian Trials? It's supposed to be a reflection of how Jesus was put on trial and executed for supposedly conducting blasphamy against the Jewish faith because of his ministry. It's supposed to make them think about what the true meaning of being a christian is in the world today. |
