Court Case: Evolution vs. Intelligent Design

Imagine you are in a court house. There are two sides: the plaintiffs and the defendants. A judge sits at the front of the court and a jury of peers at the side.

The case? The theory of Evolution vs. The concept of Intelligent Design. The plaintiff “Evolution” accuses the defendant intelligent design to be flawed in reason and lack of proof whereas they have proof and more reason to believe in Evolution. The defendants “Intelligent Design” stand firm that what they believe also has proof.

(Evolution in this case will be the Plaintiff because it’s a newer concept that creation and thus Challenges the idea of intelligent design)

Which side will prove to come out on top? Have more proof? Logic? Etc. which side, will YOU choose?

Now there can only be a limited number of participants. (PLEASE FOLLOW ALL RULES!)

Every participant must choose one side to firmly support. Only a LIMITED NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS can participate. The side at the end of the sign up that has the least amount of supporters decides the number of people for each team for equal opportunity. ( the number of people on that side will equal the number of people on both sides)

Sign up is on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis. This may be a public thread but please be respectful and follow the rules. Those at the end of the sign up and are extras WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COURT CASE! A list will be posted in the court thread as to who the participants are on each side. Anyone else who is not on that list you are welcome to read but PLEASE DO NOT POST! (mods. As you do with other threads please do not be partial and enforce these rules on this thread too).

However anyone that wishes to at the END of the court case in the JURY RESULTS thread can post as they wish as part of the jury which side you may choose to vote for. (end of case decided by me)

THIS IS A CIVIL mock COURT and must be treated with the respect as a regular court of law with the professional attitude to go along with it.

(FURTHER RULES/REGULATIONS WILL BE POSTED IN THE ACTUAL COURT CASE THREAD)

For now- POST YOUR NAME or SCREEN NAME and THE SIDE YOU WISH TO FIRMLY REPRESENT here in the sign up thread.

NOTE: YOU CAN NOT CHANGE SIDES DURING THE COURT CASE. However at the end of the case you may change your mind if you wish to what side you support while the jury (everyone) makes its decisions.
