As a matter of fact.... it doesnt say that at all....

it gives us a choice... and as for hell, there's been debate over this before, but the Bible speaks nothing of condemning ppl to hell. Hell in itself is never spoken of in the Bible. There is a sheol and gehenna. Both having nothing to do with a firey tornment or torture... that was Babylonish teaching that was adopted by false Christians after the apostles of Jesus died and other pagan teachings infiltrated the Christian congregation. The Bible has just been twisted over the years and ppl dont care enough do to their own research to see what it really says

Umm I think it does, why is it that if you believe in other religions you'll go to Hell? D:

Or if you don't embrace Jesus and his "sacrifice", you'll go to Hell because you were born a sinner?

lol yeah forget the plants... according to the Christian faith... animals died before Adam and Eve (contrary to what those guys said). Thats 1 way how Adam knew exactly what death was.

yeah the Bible God's word also says to prove things for ourself, what is truth and what isnt. Christians are told not to follow anyone blindly but prove for themselves what is truth.
unless they are called prophets or apostles or elder leaders of ones church/sect.

Wow. Good job. This makes Christians look stupid, and wanting to brainwash small children into our school of thought.

Is that smart? Hell no! Let people make up their own decisions, dammit. This is brainwashing at it's finest. Though, in all honesty, I'll give these two props for at least starting young at small children. That way, they can get the whole "Bible is teh ONLEH TRUTH!11" thing into their head at a young age.

Meh, this is just idiotic. Somebody should just go kick 'em both in the nuts, and be done with it.

Am I the only one who finds the idea of God making, say, a white shark, with a design specifically made to kill other animals, and then told him "Here, eat some plankton", extremely hilarious?

What those guys did was wrong... yes.... and yet... in lots of schools they teach evolution as truth.... hmmm why should 1 be wrong and the other acceptable? it should be the choice of each person do decide for themselves...

maybe both ideas should be given as an option? not forced or told as fact, neither, but let the reader or student use discretion and decide for their own self?

Er, no, because the class they teach evolution in is science, along with gravity, electromagnetism and relativity. You can choose to not believe in Einstein's theories of relativity if you choose to, they don't force you to take them as facts. However, since you cannot separate ID from a god or a god-like figure, it's a religious idea, therefore illegal to teach in a public school.

For an idea to have merit it cannot be based on proofs against the opposing idea. For example, ID would not become more viable if evolution were to be suddenly debunked. ID needs its own objective proof, independent of whatever it claims to go against the theory of evolution.

Lastly, we're not even talking about ID per se, this is biblical creationism. If you want to teach christian creationism, this is the list of other creationisms you have to teach by law:

Aaragon, Abenaki, Acoma, Ainu, Aleut, Amunge, Angevin, Anishinabek, Anvik-Shageluk, Apache, Arapaho, Ararapivka, Arikara, Armenian, Arrernte, Ashkenazim, Assiniboine, Athabascan, Athena, Aztec, Babylonian, Balinese, Bannock, Bantu, Basque, Blackfoot, Blood, Bosnian, Breton, Brul, Bundjalung, Burns Paiute, Caddo, Cahuilla, Catalan, Cayuga, Cayuse, Celt, Chehalis, Chelan, Cherokee, Chewella, Cheyenne, Chickasaw, Chinook, Chippewa, Chirachaua, Choctaw, Chukchi, Coeur d'Alene, Columbia River, Colville, Comanche, Congolese, Concow, Coquille, Cow Creek, Cowlitz, Cree, Creek, Croat, Crow, Crow Creek, Cumbres, Curonian, Cushite, Cut Head, Da'an, Devon, Dihai-Kutchin, Diyari, Dogon, Duwamish, Egyptian, Elwha, Eritrean, Eskimo, Esrolvuli, Eta, Even, Evenk, Flathead, Fijian, Fox, Fuegan, Gaul, Gooniyandi, Gond, Govi Basin Mongolian, Grand Ronde, Gros Ventre, Haida, Han, Haranding, Havasupai, Hendriki, Heortling, Hidatsa, Hindi, Hmong, HoChunk, Hoh, Hoopa, Hopi, Hunkpapa, Hutu, Ik-kil-lin, Inca, Innu, Intsi Dindjich, Inuit, Iroquois, Isleta, Itchali, Itelemen, It-ka-lya-ruin, Itkpe'lit, Itku'dlin, Jicarilla Apache, Jotvingian, Kaiyuhkhotana, Kalapuya, Kalispel, Kamchandal, Kansa, Karuk, Katshikotin, Kaurna, Kaw, Kazahk, Ketschetnaer, Khanti, Khoi-San, Khymer, Kickapoo, Kiowa, Kirghiz, Kitchin-Kutchin, Klamath, Knaiakhotana, K'nyaw, Koch-Rajbongshi, Kolshina, Kono, Kootenai, Koyukukhotana, !Kung, Kurd, La Jolla, Lac Courte D'Oreille, Lac Du Flambeau, Laguna, Lake, Lakota, Lao, Latgalian, Leech Lake Chippewa, Lemmi, Lower Brul, Lower Yanktonai, Lowland Lummi, Lummi, Malawi, Makah, Mandan, Maori, Maricopan, Martinez, Mayan, Mazatec, Mednofski, Menominee, Meryam Mir, Mesa Grande, Mescalero Apache, Metlakatla, Miniconjou, Mission, Moallalla, Modoc, Mohawk, Mojave, Morongo, Muckleshoot, Murrinh-Patha, Nadruvian, Nagorno-Karabakh, Na-Kotchpo-tschig-Kouttchin, Nambe, Namib, Natche'-Kutehin, Navajo, Nes Pelem, Neyetse-kutchi, Nez Perce, Ngiyampaa, Nisqualli, Nnatsit-Kutchin, Nomelackie, Nooksack, Norman, Norse, Northern Cheyenne, Nyungar, Oglala, Ogorvalte, Ojibway, Okanagon, Okinawan, Olmec, Omaha, Oneida, Onondaga, Ordovices, Orlanthi, Osage, Osetto, O-til'-tin, Otoe, Paakantyi, Paiute, Pala Mission, Papago, Pawnee, Pazyryk, Pechango, Penan, Piegan, Pima, Pitt River, Ponca, Potowatomie, Prussian, Pueblo, Puyallup, Qiang, Quileute, Quinault, Red Cliff Chippewa, Red Lake Chippewa, Redwood, Rincon, Sac, Saisiyat, Sakuddeis, Salish, Salt River, Samish, Samoan, Samogitian, San Carlos Apache, San Idlefonso, San Juan, San Poil, Santa Clara, Sartar, Sauk-Suiattle, Selonian, Semigolian, Seminole, Senecan, Sephardim, Serano, Serb, Shasta, Shawnee, Shiite, Shinnecock, Shoalwater Bay, Shoshone, Sikh, Siletz, Silures, Sinhalese, Sioux, Siskiyou, Sisseton, Siuslaw, Skalvian, S'Klallam, Skokomish, Skyomish, Slovene, Snohomish, Snoqualmie, Soboba, Southern Cheyenne, Spokane, Squaxin Island, Steilacoom, Stillaquamish, Stockbridge, Sunni, Suquamish, Swinomish, Tadjik, Takhayuna, Tala, Talastari, Tamil, Tanaina, Taos, Tarim, Tasman, Tatar, Tesuque, Tlingit, Toltec, Tpe-ttckie-dhidie-Kouttchin, Tranjik-Kutchin, Truk, Tukkutih-Kutchin, Tulalip, Tungus, Turtle Mountain, Tuscarora, Turk, Turkmen, Tutsi, Ugalakmiut, Uintah, Umatilla, Umpqua, Uncompagre, U-nung'un, Upper Skagit, Ute, Uzbek, Vietnamese, Viking, Vunta-Kutchin, Wahpeton, Walla Walla, Wasco, Wembawemba, White Mountain Apache, Wichita, Wik-ungkan, Winnebago, Wiradjuri, Wylackie, Xhosa, Yahi, Yakama, Yakima, Yakut, Yanamamo, Yankton Sioux, Yellowknife, Yindjibarnd, Youkon Louchioux, Yukaghir, Yukonikhotana, Yullit, Yuma, Zjen-ta-Kouttchin, and Zulu.

^ exactly lol i knew you were going to say that thats why maybe evolution shouldnt be taught in schools either. let each learn on his own if he would like either creation or evolution or both. and as for evolution having proof... it doesnt have that much, its more theory of a broken puzzle....

Oh, sure! Let's do that with Einstein's theory of relativity while we're at it. That time dilation stuff is too complicated. Electromagnetism too; that stuff's just guesswork anyway!

See where I'm going with this? Whether you personally put stock or not in the theory is your personal stance; the scientific community gives it as much credibility as it does electromagnetism. Modern Biology is based around the theory of evolution. The medicines you drink, the genetically modified food you eat, it is all based around this theory in one way or the other. Taking evolution away from biology is equivalent to taking gravity away from physics.

Lastly, you claim evolution has no proof. I have no intention of showing you proof, because frankly, your beliefs are too far ingrained in your mind for me to do a damn thing about it. We've replied to every disagreement you've had with evolution, and then some. You still think it's bunk. What do you want, Smooth? What thing could any of us show you (within the theory of evolution) that would make you consider it? If you can't think of a few things, then clearly we are wasting our time, since no matter what evidence and proof, you will never believe otherwise.
