Do a search for "666" and "616" and look at the bottom for the piece of parchment. If you disregard that article, you're also disregarding anything that would explain where 666 came from as well.

if you do more research on that... you'll find that there are so many historical, and Biblical inaccuracies in that article. Not only that, a lot of the sources used for that article were books written by men who had just put in their a lot of their own opinions, assumptions and not very educated probabilities.

Point out one such relevant* historical inaccuracy. And also show that the parchment is a falsity.

*relevant in the sense that the inaccuracy is dealing with the 666 or 616.

Aren't we arguing apples and oranges? I mean isn't this argument the equivelent of calling Jesus, 'Jesus' rather than 'Yehoshua' and saying one is wrong? Just my initial thought. Please correct me if I'm incorrect.

More like comparing a McIntosh with a Red Delicious, and then saying the Red Delicious isn't an apple. Both are apples and are just fine to leave it at that. But to discredit one is rather silly.

Both are numbers used to represent Nero (who could quite easily be seen as the anti-Christ to Christians at that point in time). However, 616 was the originally used number, but 666 gained more popularity and eventually overshadowed 616, up until specifically the parchment was found that actually uses 616.

welll just one thing, okay sure maybe his name might come up to 616 and w/e else... the Bible says there were many antichrists and will be many. So sure he may have been AN antichrist. Also that part of the ancient writtings may have contained the 600 10 and 6 but it wasnt a part of the Bible, the Bible says 666 though in other terms. But thats pretty much saying that the Bible is based on numerology. which it isnt. its based on symbolism a lot of the time and literal dates and digits when it comes to numbers. But converting a person's name to that would not fit in.

No one will know necessarily who the Antichrist is until he is revealed, he being the devil, not the person. So why are we arguing over who it is going to be and the number. Perhaps we should be worrying about how we are and where we will be going instead. There is more to this picture than just the Antichrist showing itself.

except that the Bible says that there are many antichrists, anyone who is against him in essence

No, we are all imperfect, sinning doesnt mean we go against him... it means we make mistakes.... going against him is a deliberate action anti... against or not for..... you can be christ's followers and still sin because thats how it is, we are imperfect he knows we make mistakes. But if we make it a point not to serve God or follow Christ and follow the word then thats what antichrist in essence is


Life is not a movie, though many movies are made from true experiences... however, you know those "end of the world" type of movies? like everyone litterally dies, or very few survive? and when they see things actually happening there is mass pandemonium and confusion, people dont know what to do and so on..

now in the days of noah (so the Bible goes) it says that ppl were given ample warning to come on God's side and enter into the arc. However they laughed at Noah and said he was crazy yada yada... the day comes that Noah and his family enter and God shuts the door.... right at that momemt ppl then realize... "oh crap! they were right".... but it was too late, cause they didnt listen to warnings.....

thats what jesus said it would be like today.... now the Bible says the same would happen, ppl would have warnings, but once the governments declare war against the religions and to outlaw and destroy them... thats it, the book is sealed and the door is shut so to speak.... everyone who didnt listen and had a chance to before, well too bad... cause as much as they beg and cry like in noahs day... that wont change a thing... cause its their heart that wont be right.

anyway, now dont go on to say Im wrong or right... im jus sayin.... thats how the Bible tells it
