| Perfect I N S A N I T Y | Approaching 7 billion. :3 End times, I don't really care if it happens or not, if it is true or not, because if it happens, it happens. Plus, it'll be really exciting if the world does reach its last days. :3333 |

| Perfect I N S A N I T Y | Eh, the way I see it, my time on the planet is just a big ride of entertainment. Life isn't really that important to me if something like the end of the world happens. Since my chances of living are probably 0 anyway. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | ^ actually no... the Last days are based on world conditions... and even the Bible says that many will prosper, be happy, etc etc and there will even be a time when all things seem to be perfect, like all the worlds major problems are solved... but its just a sign of the times... the last days. Its one of the tactics satan uses to make people believe its fiction... that everything is okay, and that we can be complacent Thats just my view I know many of you wont and dont have to agree with Last edited by Forever Atlas; 07/18/08 at 01:40 AM. |

And for mankind to systems come and go before the world wars there were many changes in the world such as the fall of Rome in 456 A.D., Constantinople a milenium or so later, the French Revolution and the beginning of questioning of the divine right of kings of the Illustration and so forth. Also dates as the year 1666 have been considered the end of the world. So only God knows. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | ^ yeah, and that guy, Better Tomorrow, what he's talking about.... I dont know... because I've seen quite a few of his posts... he keeps saying things that are his own opinion as FACT saying this and that have been proved without backing it up with something.... At least others who dont believe what the Bible says say its what they believe or their opinion, or at least they give some extra proof that shows why they say what they say. The Bible is AGAINST ASTROLOGY says it plain and clear....... If Better Tomorrow has his basis for this claim, I would like to see it. The Encyclopædia Britannica notes that astrology is a “type of divination that consists in forecasting earthly and human events by means of observing and interpreting the fixed stars, the Sun, the Moon, and the planets.” as·trol·o·gy Audio Help (ə-strŏl'ə-jē) Pronunciation Key n. The study of the positions and aspects of celestial bodies in the belief that they have an influence on the course of natural earthly occurrences and human affairs astrology c.1375, from L. astrologia "astronomy," from Gk. astrologia "telling of the stars," from astron "star" + -logia "treating of," comb. form of logon "one who speaks (in a certain manner)." Originally identical with astronomy, it had also a special sense of "practical astronomy, astronomy applied to prediction of events." This was divided into natural astrology "the calculation and foretelling of natural phenomenon" (tides, eclipses, etc.), and judicial astrology "the art of judging occult influences of stars on human affairs" (also known as stromancy, 1652). Differentiation began late 1400s and by 17c. this word was limited to "reading influences of the stars and their effects on human destiny." Deuteronomy 18: 10-12 - There should not be found in you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, anyone who employs divination, a practicer of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer, or one who binds others with a spell or anyone who consults a spirit medium or a professional foreteller of events or anyone who inquires of the dead. For everybody doing these things is something detestable to Jehovah, and on account of these detestable things Jehovah your God is driving them away from before you. There were many nations that practiced astrology back in the ancient days. Babylon, Egypt, Assyrians, etc. they all practiced these things... and they were all also condemned by God. |

| Knight of Zero | Well, to be fair, it's not saying astrology is bunk, it's saying it's forbidden. Necromancy, magic and so on. |

Sure it is.... its also warning of where it leads to and what it involves.... of course once again you probably wont recognize any of this as being valid or whatever, but its what I believe. All these things are related to the spirit world of Demons.... which the Bible tells us what they do through these things and the danger of them... it says: Quote:
But the Bible did say not to put trust in it and showed that it wasnt even useful and the people who practiced it (astrology), could not predict reliably anything. Quote:
Still today astrologers have not proved any more effective in predicting significant events. Even after studying more than 3,000 specific astrological predictions, scientific investigators R. Culver and Philip Ianna concluded that only 10*percent were accurate. | |||

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Okay, so yeah, thats what I'm saying, the Bible isnt saying that people cant seem to perform these powerful works etc as with magic and stuff... but its the source of their powers... and the history behind it, and the fact that its not accurate as the point of the Demons is to mislead. |
