No, that's not what the preist is doing at all. Nothing is intended to happen as a result of Communion. It's just showing appreciation.
Ah, so indeed, those are not the flesh and blood of Jesus, it's just tasty bread and wine.

Froad are you a catholic? as they have a word for what happens. "Transubstantiation" : the changing of the elements of the bread and wine, when they are consecrated in the Eucharist, into the body and blood of Christ (a doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church).

Also i wish to speak about prayer. Prayer is thanking God and talking to him.
Whats the difference between that and to cast a spell to talk with an avatar of an element?

Anyway, Wicca is just an alternative choice. Every religion has its rewards and disadvantages. Christians have Heaven and Hell, while I (differs for every practitioner) believe in the Flowering paradise

I know what Transubstantiation is. I just eat bread and have some wine.

Do you know what symbolism is?

I think that its good that your reading about another religion then you can understand them
i am pagan...which is basically the heirarchy of wicca...
if more people learned the religions they bash it would all be better then one religion persecuting all others that dont believe in the same thing

Lol, my parents have forbidden me from even researching Wicca. . .

I really haven't gotten into the conversation, just because it's better to see others' views.

Wicca seems to do a lot of good for the world, and little bad. That's enough for me to like it.
