Me, I have been drumming for 6 years and I have recently joined Darkfate, a gothic metal band, as a drummer. I am also playing for a grunge band - called SIL.
I also growl for a death metal band, but it is rather an "unborn child" - the band does not have a name, but we just gather and jam with the bandmates.

i play violin, my friend alison writes music and does saxophone/piano, and then we have a clarinetist (sp? lol) and an oboe.

we never really get to play anywhere cause alison writes mostly classic/jazz type music. we were in a talent show once though.

I have been starting a band for awhile, all we need is the bassist to buy his bass. but yea we will be called The Rain!

I write lyrics and occasionally play violin for my friend's group, The Glass Jars.

I'm in these:

- Jazz Act 1.: Which is a school jazz band that plays higher level music. I play the trumpet in it, and have played some piano.

- Jazz Act 2: Basically the same as Jazz act 1, but it plays easier music. I mainly play piano here, but I 've played trumpet.

- Jazz ensemble: 2 Trumpets, 2 Saxphones, 1 Keyboard, and 1 Trombone. I play the Keyboard, and I love it! We mainly play at school events.

-Symphonic Band: It's a higher level high school concert band. I've played the Baritone, Alto Sax, Bari Sax, and French Horn. I think I'll be playing the French Horn all next year because our only ones graduated this year. :<

-Freshmen Band: It's a low level concert band for high school freshmen. I've played trumpet, baritone, and French Horn.

-Salem Church Band: It's just a normal church band. I've played Alto sax, Bari sax, piano, and Violin.

I'm in the process of band forming. I've been over at my friend's house a good bit this summer, and we intend on starting one once I get my bass, since I can play some solid basslines. Also, I'd be the vocalist.
