Hello Forum Friends, This is Gildragon

Welcome to the thread where you the public. get to suggest songs to Gildragon himself! (for me to sing)
Truth be told I plan on doing at least one song a month maybe a 2nd every now and then. I do both silly songs (which are normal songs but done in a way to make you laugh or even just the song itself can be funny) and I also do songs which are a serious performance.

and I'm looking for suggestions for both Silly and Serious.

If you are unfamiliar with my songs you can check them out in various threads scattered throughout the performing arts section. or by going to my youtube channel:

Bear in mind. this isn't necessarily a REQUEST thread but a suggestion thread. I'm not gonna sing every song that you suggest just because you think it would be cool for me to do. I have to be able to pull it off.
Feel free to make songs outrageous like Barbie Girl, or Serious as Serious and touching as You Raise me Up.

Remember though its only me, and a camera with no video editing software (...yet) so everything has to be done in one shot.

I will take all suggestions seriously and try to review them by the original artist before I consider singing them.

a couple of guidlines. I'm a Bass. not a Tenor. so don't pick anything that goes TOO high. (unless I'd use my falsetto). Also while it seems my tradition for serious songs to do slow love ballads I wouldn't mind doing something completely different Genre. Finally, when you suggest a song, pick songs that you think I'd actually be able to do.

That being said. if at all possible suggest more than one and if you can provide youtube or other links where I can listen to the song, if its a newer song there is a good chance I haven't heard it.


songs can range from any genre, from the radio, froma movie, musical, disney, or whatver, so suggest away!

I'm still all for "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. The raspy voice isn't really necessary, but I still think it would fit your voice perfectly.

I still think Journy's "Don't Stop Believing". Not Glee's/Nick Pitera's version though, since you don't have a girl to sing with.
