Default HELP ME WITH MY AUDITION
Hey,
im continplating of auditioning for a role the role is of a spoilt rotten, selfish pricncess who gets everything she wants. Its a major sin ging role, and heres where u come in.

For the audtion i need to sing a song that symbolises the character.

If you have any suggestions of a song i could sing that would be greatly appreciated.

Thats not bad, but i need sumthing that symbolises the characters persona a bit more. Spoilt. Girl thats never ever ever wrong. Showered with gifts all her life. Loud, obnoxious.

Damn, that's exactly what I was going to suggest. Ah well, if you don't know the song, here's the video. I think it seems to fit perfectly into the character And break a leg!

Personally I would suggest "Where are the Simple Joys of Maidenhood." from Camelot

for several reasons

Typically at an audition you should sing a song that's ACTUALLY from a musical/play ("I want the world' isn't)
Its shows a better vocal range and peformance ability
and if you can capture it right, this song will make people laugh.


(its in the subtext though)
