Hello, what is everyone's opinion on the show Guys and Dolls? I've heard mixed reviews and also I was wondering what are some good parts that I should consider? Any info would be helpful!

I've yet to see this. I have looked everywhere for a copy on DVD or somthing and I can't seem to find one.

Try Barnes and Noble. I got my copy and CD for christmas and i think it was from there.

Yeah it is, the 1st half is pretty slow and boring, IMO except for the very opening scene. The 2nd half is very, very good though.

never saw it, but I saw a commercial for the Broadway show the other night. it looked good, but am I dying to see it? not really. if I get the chance to see it I will.

yeah, I'd try Barnes & Noble and see if it's there.

I had my auditions the other day and I think it went okay. I'm only a sophomore, so I don't really expect to get a speaking role in this show (although I had a lead role in the fall show). I will update with my part when the cast list goes up. Should be Monday, February 9th, if anyone cares.

Awesome. You're doing Sweeny Todd?!!?!?!?! I love that show! I don't think our school would be allowed to do a show like that. In our last show, people were offended by a character saying the word asshole. So, no Sweeny Todd for us. And yeah, let me know.

That's a good choice. In my Musical Theater class, we are studying Guys and Dolls. It's really great.
