Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Sublime come to mind. Not too familiar with the genre beyond that.

But uhhhh Less than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Catch 22, and Streetlight Manifesto are some epic bands. Mighty Mighty Bosstones are good too.

Ska isn't totally dead it's just gone back to the underground. I know many DJ's who still do ska. I';s just not mainstream like it used to be.

there's like 8272726 ska bands in my school alone..
so yeah

True punk is dead on the mainstream like ska. There are alot of bands out there that still hold the roots but they are more underground now. More bands tend to go emo on everyone then anything

there was this one band in my school and i think they were ska. their music was awesome; they were huge in my school; a lot of people liked them. they all graduated thou...

Ska is a mixture of Raeggae and Punk. Very good genre. Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, etc.

Heck yes, I do! I'm pretty much a ska freak, and I do enjoy reggae, as well.

I pretty much enjoy the same bands as those that were listed here: Less than Jake, Might Mighty Bosstones, Sublime. I even like No Doubt. (The old No Doubt, not the new, commercial No Doubt) They made some great songs even before Tragic Kingdom.

Thats only 3rd wave.

Before that there was 1st wave and second wave with different sound of music.

Like 1st wave was more like jazz and reggae.

^That's true, kinda like the Specials, The Slackers and Madness...actually they were second wave. First wave was even earlier than them.

My uncle's in a ska band.

I went to a concert and the Mighty, Mighty Bosstones were special guests and the first thing I thought when I saw them was "The Madness".
