Hey everyone! I like hard rock songs but I don't know names of them or bands, can anyone suggest any good songs?

Any track from Linkin Park's album, Hybrid Theory. Then you have some; Limp Bizkit, Karnivool, Drowning Pool, etc. etc.

Most of those aren't rock......

Author, are you after Rock or Metal*?

*Note - as a way of making life easier, all "non metal" genres are grouped into metal for the sake of it, ie:
Industrial
anything ending in "core" (grindcore etc)
EBM
Darkwave

^Agreed. Rush is like... da' best rock band there eva' was. So awesome.

Their latest album rocks, too. <3

Some good songs from there are YYZ, Far Cry, Earthshine, and MANY more. They're all awesome >.<
