MTV Awards(VMA's) Reviews

Anyone watched the awards last night? Overall I thought it was just plain boring....-_-

Highlights

1) Beyonce's and Panic At The Disco! performance was flashy but still the best shows I've seen.
2) The guys from Jackass were still alive and funny as hell doing some stupid shit as always.
3) Rock, R&B, and New Artist awards were the ones to look forward too for the night. Some were surprising but I was relived when Nelly Furtado didn't win and perform cause it was getting annoying plus overplayed.
4) Tribute to Hype Williams. All I can say is...wow. They showed a video vanguard of all the vidoes he ever made and with so many artists. Busta Rythmes and Missy Elliot performed old songs from the past: "Rain" and "Let Me See Where My Eyes Can See". Hope to see more great videos from him.
5) The lead singer for Taking Back Sunday was drunk off his ass when accepting the award.
6) Panic At The Disco! won for video of the year. There has been no wrong doing and no distractions for the entire night UNTIL the last 10 minutes. YAY!! When the guys went to get their award some random guy goes on stage and promotes his website until he was tackled to the ground and carried out. Oh well...

Lowlights

1) Jack Black talks about bringing the thunder but all I see are cloudy skies.
2) *****cat Dolls accepted their award and did their speech for about 10 minutes.
3) K-Fed and Brittany did a skit insulting the "baby in the front of the car" thing and it was just sad to see them even more pathetic than they already are anyway.
4) Is Furgi from the B.E.P annoying than usual? I think so.
5) Do I have to hear more about the Earth's doom from Al Gore than there already is? I feel scared than it is.
6) That girl named Sara something comes on stage and pisses off Paris Hilton about how thin she is. Do I care? No and it wasn't even that insulting to go and say "OOOOOOOOO!!" It was just stupid and random.:huh:
7) J.Lo comes on stage and say that there will be an MTV3 but its for Latino music and you know what that means...more Reggeton. I could care less but whatever.

I watched it it was pretty much good I want them to show it again and I was fine with the winners and stuff I would give it a 9/10 if I rated it. But the only reason I know that it was coming on was because my cousin told me at night when we were watching tv and then we said," Oh yeah it is coming on tomorrow".

- Jack Black was NOT funny. I was dissapointed
- Britney Spears and her entire family are stupid rednecks
- Fergie is a but-her-face
- Panic! at the disco sucks
- P. Diddy is an arrgonant b*****d
- MTV has gone Emo
- MTV 3? wth? No one even watches MTV en Espanol.

I'm not watching anymore MTV if emo bands continue to win againts Red Hot Chili Peppers and Shakira.

I'm going with the bandwagon, Jack Black wasn't funny. But Beyonce's and Shakira's performances was nice.

Anyways the best thing about the VMA's was the Beyonce performance. I was a bit disappointed in Panic At the Disco's :(

Even with Stadium Arcadium being as weak as it was, it trumped PatD in any and every way imaginable. That it didn't win a single award is unimaginable.
