^ Those clips are so good. Can't wait to see the film.

Speaking of which, I have my tickets for the film already. 8:30pm session on July 11th, sitting in prime seats to make things even better. Not many people here in Australia know that the movie premieres on the Wednesday now, instead of the Thursday. Probably due to the fact that almost every film comes out on a Thursday down here.

I'm not too worried on getting tickets. I'll probably get them two days or so in advance just to be safe.

It's not out anywhere yet. >.>

Anyway, the movie itself has gotten mixed reviews from critics who were at the world premiere over in Britain.

Reviews of the film were mixed. The Telegraph headlined their review "Potter film is the best and darkest yet". Imelda Staunton's performance as Dolores Umbridge and Helena Bonham Carter's as Bellatrix Lestrange were widely acclaimed; Staunton was described as the "perfect choice for the part" and "one of the film's greatest pleasures", "com[ing] close to stealing the show". Bonham Carter was said to be a "shining but underused talent". Variety also praised Alan Rickman's portrayal of Severus Snape, writing that he "may have outdone himself; seldom has an actor done more with less than he does here."The Sunday Mirror, giving the film four out of five stars and called it "a dark and delicious delight [and] a must see movie".

The Times of London expressed disappointment that the three main actors were not able to fully advance the emotional sides of their respective characters, weakening the film. The Hollywood Reporter wrote that Phoenix is "quite possibly the least enjoyable of the [series] so far", and that despite "several eye-catching moments", "the magic – movie magic, that is – is mostly missing". The review also criticised the underuse of the "cream of British acting", including Maggie Smith, Bonham Carter, Emma Thompson, David Thewlis, Richard Griffiths, and Julie Walters.
I can actually see it being the least enjoyable so far, even though I still have high hopes for it. It is only a little over 2 hours long, and they have crammed so much in it, making the film itself very rushed. Still, only about a week away, and I'm still excited nonetheless.

EDIT: Also, excellent Azkaban clip.

The movie is scheduled to come out on July 13th (My Birthday xD) of next year. There hasn't been much information on it lately, which is sad. But here's a tidbit of info I saw on mugglenet yesterday.

Hopefully soon we can see a trailer for the movie, or at least some more images, or something. Still, I know I'm going to be one of those people who waits overnight to see this movie.

This is open for discussion on the movie, so please do so. And in the future, if I see anymore threads on this movie, I will hurt you, because I did it first! xD

I should be fine with it, currently rereading the fifth book in order for the seventh book! As long as they don't make it where Voldemort appears on plantform 9 and three quarters.(sp?) From the looks of it they got as J.K Rowling puts it...spoiler box for anyone who hasn't read the book: [Spoiler]A Desfense Against the Dark Arts teacher with a personality like poisioned honey.[/spoiler]

Also quoting Sirius and Lupin.

Well, the movies have always dissapointed me, so what's one more? I'm still going to be checking it out, there are scenes from the trailers that intriuge me; that, and my desire to pick apart the movie is the base for me wanting to see it. =^^= But if it's only two hours long, that's probably going to make it even worse, isn't it?

Well, it'll definitely seem rushed, that's for sure. Harry and the gang will be at Hogwarts in about 20 minutes. So, somehow they're going to squeeze in Dementor Attack, Grimmauld Place, and Hearing in about 20 minutes. Then, I'd assume there would only be about an hour of Hogwarts before the Ministry Fight/Prophecy Explanation (And if the Prophecy is dumbed down in the movie, I'm going to have a fit.)

Unless Wikipedia is lying (which is highly doubtful, as the running time has a source page next to it), this movie will be very rushed. Nevertheless, it's a Harry Potter movie, so I'll be enjoying myself regardless.

^XD, I loved that!!!

I'm really excited about this movie. My mom and I recently rewatched the first four to refresh our memory and that rekindled my fangirlism. We're gonna wait about a week for the crowds to die down though. ^_^

I'm really anxious to see the Snape flashback scenes, but I've heard that they're really short. T_T
