Basically the kids in Japan start 2 rebel against the adults. Not going 2 skool and all that type of stuff. so the japanese government or wutever. made a new rule or law or sumthin called battle royale. they send a selected class of students 2 a deserted island. each person is given a bag of survival materials and a different weapon. they have 2 kill each other until one last person is left and that person is the winner of battle royale. thers alot more 2 the movie so if n e one else would like 2 explain it better feel free.

Yea I think The Condemned The Condemned (2007)

Was the remake of it. Correct me if im wrong. I mean I never saw the movie. And I didn't want to just for the sheer fact that I don't think wrestlers are good actors. And I was afraid to spoil the awsomeness of the movie. If its not the remake it's still pretty damn close.

I was about to say...that didn't look much like a remake due to them being wrestlers to start off.

I'd say Battle Royale heavily heavily influenced it, but thats about it.

The only thing the US version will do better is the special effect/visual gore.
The remake will have bad teen actors, add unnecessary sex scenes, butcher the dialogue and narration, remove all trace of intelligent political commentary and satire and last but not least leave a disappointing taste.

Might be a bit redundant at this point.
I don't see how they can increase the quality of a film that already exists.
