I really don't care for Naruto. It isn't that it is a bad show, it just isn't a great one in my opinion. Before you accuse me of hating something I know nothing about, know that I have seen about 10 episodes, which is enough in my opinion. My real problem though, is that everyone else seems to think that it is the greatest show ever. Why do you think this?

Yes
I dare not flame you. But I do not hate Naruto nor do I disrespect it but the idea of this "jutsu" being toyed around with for entertainment isn't really too grand. Like trying to understand why Ninjas were in the original Batman with Adam West. Some appreciate this "Ninja" form but I'd prefer not to get into it.

The bad thing about being an anime fan is that you can like it, then when other people start to ghey it up, your seniority vanishes because so many people like it.

Whenever something new comes out kids go crazy because we don't really see that much anime imported to america. And for some the only way you will see it is if you go to china town.... No offense to any asians Just putting that out. But remember i'm speaking for U.S. citizens. Its just that people don't really exploit ninja's in shows that much so for some when Naruto came out.... It was like this
Kid1- Ohh you heard about that Show Na-Ru-To
kid2- Yea but i'm not gonna watch it, it seems corny
kid1- Fine ok
Later On
kid1- Omg that was hot, i wanna see more
Then when that kid goes to school....
kid1- Have you heard of that show Naruto, its pretty good...
*or it could be the other way around*
But soon word gets out and people try their luck with the show. Some may tend to like it where as others may oppose it, either way people are making their money and kids have new Ninja Headbands.
Ahhhh the way of the world.

Most ninja are too poor to afford REAL weapons so they used the nail-removers as a sub.
The Japanese are stereotyping themselves? Is that possible?

I rather be tortured by nails screeching on a chalkboard than watch Naruto. That's my opinion. I laugh at my neighbor who lives across the street, who is 17 or 18 years old and wears a headband from the show. He is mega obsessed and thinks that he is cooler than everyone else, but he is just the opposite.
I know that you might think, "This eevee has no room to talk, look at her username!!!" Yes, yes, but I have grown out of pokemon and I am no longer obsessed with it. In fact, the reason why I want to get 1,000 posts is to change my username. :\
