Ehh Phillies ALWAYS lose opening day, for as long as I can remember, so I'm not worried. Lidge looked great, especially against that rookie kid (don't remember his name).

I just got the MLB package so I can see every game so I'll be able to see my Mariners. They should probably win tomorrow with Felix Hernandez on the mound, we'll have to see how Francisco Liriano pitches tomorrow. Go M's!

Also... the Phillies are getting rocked right now. They only have two hits. I stopped watching it because it's such a slaughter but whatever, they should still be good this year.

Cubs just wrapped up their series with the Astros with Kosuke Fukudome having his best game as a Cubbie so far.

And that's horrible news about Nick Adenhart. And he had a wonderful game last night.

That really does suck for the Angels. They really needed him this year. He was really talented.

Anyway Chris Carpenter looked like the Cy Young performer he was back in 06 with his start today. 6 2/3 innings of no hit ball. The one run he let up was unearned. So excited that he is finally back.

I feel worse for the Adenhart family than the Angels organization though. Only 22 years old.

Yeah that's a bad situation. I feel bad for his family.

Dang the Angels are having terrible luck with their pitching this year.

Well on a brighter note, Mariners won today, I'm happy about that, Jerrod Washburn looked incredibly strong today.

Yeah this is really sad. Of course it's a great loss to his family, but it's also a huge loss to the MLB and to the Angels because as you said, he had great potential. RIP.

Well the Cardinals had a great week. Went 5-2 with a sweep of our division rivals the Astros. Even more though Puljos had a 7 RBI game, and we had 2 pitchers take a no-hitter to the 7th inning, Carpenter took it too 6 2/3 and Loshe took it to the 9th inning.

Nice.

BTW who would've thought that the Mariners would be tied for first in the AL with the Blue Jays at this point, I know it's early but the Mariners are playing some great ball.

EDIT: Lycanthrope is probably gonna kill me for talking about the Mariners againXD
