There was a time when strike tags were a privilege to people who were intelligent enough to quote someone who used them in his posts and copy it, or simply ask people who knew enough about the [code] tags used in such a forum to find out how to use them.

Now it seems the whole damn forum is littered with all kinds of people who try to make semi-witty remarks by using them, albeit most of them don't even manage to incorporate them into what they're trying to say properly.
