| Enigmatic Soldier | Ok, The BCS games are a long ways away, but the College Football regular season is practically finished. This is my opinion of who should go in the BCS National Championship game. Alabama is leading Auburn right now 29-0 in the 4th and Florida is blowing Florida State, so It's safe to say the winner of the SEC Championship game will be going to the National Championship game no doubt about it. Now, comes the opponent, and whether it'll be Texas, Oklahoma, or Texas Tech. Tech is leading Baylor 35-28 right now. If I understand this mixed up BCS system; It doesn't matter what happens to Texas, if Tech wins, Texas is out of the equation because Tech handed Texas their first loss, and if Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State tonight, they'd get in the title game over Tech because they embarrassed Texas Tech 63-14or whatever that score was. If Tech is to win and Oklahoma loses, regardless of the blowout, Tech would get in jumping to the top spot of the Big 12 South and going to the National Championship game. Now comes The Rose Bowl which could possibly be an Ohio State/USC rematch provided that Ohio State beats Penn State for the Big Ten Championship and USC is walking all over their division, so they're a lock-in for The Rose Bowl. I think I have that one right. Ok, from here on, I'm confused. Depending on my predictions, the Suagr Bowl would be the loser of the SEC Championship game vs. ? The Fiesta Bowl would be the loser of the Big 12 Championship game vs. ? And finally, The Orange Bowl would be the ACC Champions (North Carolina IMO) vs ? Can anybody explain this system and who faces who? |

| Hi kids! Do you like violence? | Eh, the BCS has been shitty for the last 5 years. They try to pair up teams traditionally instead of trying to have good games. Seriously, last year was USC vs. Illinois and Georgia vs. Hawaii. Both were a blowout. I would'nt be surprised if was pretty stupid this year as well. |

| Other PSN: SilverJ-17 | I really don't like the BCS system too much and I think it should be freakin' playoffs. I mean, how sure are you that the undefeated Ball State Cardinals isn't better than Alabama or Florida..? lol.. j/k.. but still.. Though, I just wonder where the Cardinals are going to be, since they're practically the only Indiana team in this. On a side note: Lol.. I can't believe it.. first the Bulldogs, now the Cardinals.. Is it just me or are the smaller Indiana schools becoming better than usual? |

Missouri won't go to a BCS game regardless how they perform in the Big 12 tile game. Quote:
Of course, these are only predictions, it ultimately ends up being which bowl picks who. We should know for sure by the 7th. Last edited by JuttingRock; December 2nd, 2008 at 08:25 AM.

| Spanking the monkey oh yeah | I don't really care to much for the BCS, but at the same time I don't think playoffs will work. What you do is take top 2 teams and let them play. Playoffs would be ideal, but I really don't want to see college football pretty much end up going to the same way as every other sport. |

Anyway the only reason people talk about a playoff is because their favorite teams get left out of the BIG game.
