| Fuck Your Life | Discuss the 2008-09 NBA season here. Currently, the pre-season is going on, and tip-off for the 08-09 Season is October 28. The teams that I will be following the most this year are the Chicago Bulls (of course), the Los Angeles Lakers, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Portland Trail Blazers. I've got potential starting lineups for these teams. Trail Blazers: C - Greg Oden (Sub - Channing Frye or Joel Przybilla) PF - LaMarcus Aldridge (Sub - Ike Diogu) SF - Travis Outlaw (Sub - Nicholas Batum) SG - Brandon Roy (Sub - Rudy Fernández) PG - Steve Blake (Sub - Sergio Rodríguez) OKC Thunder: C - Chris Wilcox (Sub - Mouhamed Sene) PF - Jeff Green (Sub - Joe Smith) SF - Kevin Durant (Sub - Nick Collison) SG - Desmond Mason (Sub - Damien Wilkins) PG - Russell Westbrook (Sub - Earl Watson) Chicago Bulls: C - (They need a good center that won't let them down) PF - Drew Gooden (Sub - Tyrus Thomas) SF - Luol Deng (Sub - Andres Nocioni) SG - Ben Gordon (Sub - Larry Hughes) PG - Derrick Rose (Or Kirk Hinrich, since he's captain) Lakers: C - Andrew Bynum (Sub - Chris Mihm) PF - Pau Gasol (Sub - Vladimir Radmanović) SF - Lamar Odom (Sub - Luke Walton) SG - Kobe Bryant aka Mister MVP (Sub - Joe Crawford?) PG - Derek Fisher (Sub - Jordan Farmar) This year, I expect the Lakers to go all the way again, facing either the Celtics again or, possibly, the Cavaliers. Also, I think Greg Oden will take Rookie of the Year. I also expect the Blazers and the Thunder to be beasts this year. |

| Fuck Your Life | I plan on following the Sixers, calm down Ed. I'm also interested in the Rockets. Artest will be a great asset for the team. T-Mac Yao Artest Another Big 3 for the West. |

| Fuck Your Life | Well, tip-off began today. It's half-time for the Celtics and Cavs, with Cavs holding a 50-43 lead. Bulls just started the second quarter, and the Bucks lead them 30-29. |

| Fuck Your Life | Well, a stupid trade was made by Detroit. They sent their All-Star player, Chauncey Billups, and reserve Antonio McDyess, to Denver for Allen Iverson. Dumb and retarded trade if you ask me. Detroit says their next trade target is LeBron. Dumbasses. |

Rep Power: 8 ![]() Level: 32 EXP: | I don't follow the crowd or jump on the bandwagon. I'm a hometown guy always and forever. So I'd follow them. >.> And they aren't horrible....... With their win against Washington, they are 5-4. I say they'll be 6-4 after tomorrows game with Toronto too. |

| Fuck Your Life | Well, Celtics took a whupping from the Lakers (woot) and the Warriors. Lakers are kicking butt, as usual. I'll be rooting for them all the way. Cavs are looking good as always. My Bulls are looking okay, so I'll continue to root for them and future Rookie of the Year D-Rose. OKC Thunder. Wow, just wow. I had high hopes for this team with their starting lineup, but they're just disappointing as hell. 3-25. What an atrocious record. Looks like they'll be the 07-08 Heat of this season. Rockets are looking solid with their big 3, but they need to put Ron Artest in the starting lineup. |
