this is not gonna be a boring Finals, if we ended with Spurs vs Det/Boston it would've been, the Lakers are the only team that knows how to play offense.

I would love to see the Celtics win but hard to say. I think they need to win game 1 thus removing some of the momentum the Lakers have built up. You win 1 of the 2 in LA you have to make them come into your yard and beat you which Boston is really good in Boston this year.

i'm sorry i'm a Laker Fan and besides the fact that Gasol will be on Perkins and Lamar will be on KG, Gasol is the least aggressive of the 4 and that really scares me, now way am i feeling confident about Gasol being able to dominate Perkins, let alone KG in this series.

The Key will as always be Lamar Odom and Sasha Vujacic if they play well the Lakers should win.

I feel pretty confident this series is going a long ways, Lakers missed a ton of shots they normally make, and Boston has superior rebounding, should be a real close series.

The Lakers were never in a dominant control that entire game. Boston had better rebounding. The Lakers missed too many shots. Hence Boston 1-0.

^its pretty hard to be in dominant control on the road in the playoffs i think the lakers did everything they could've hoped except rebound.

A word to Boston fans: Unless you've been a Boston fan before the 07-08 season, Get OFF the bandwagon. Half of you probably are only rooting for them because they did so great this year. Most overrated team ever in the history of the NBA.

Anyway, Lakers will bounce back in game 2, and will murder Boston at home after that.

Kevin Garnett will be the one to grace the cover of NBA 2K9.

^last year's Mavericks were the most overrated team, they won 1 more regular season game than this Boston team and didn't make it out of the first round.

Boston has proved that they are a good team.

I mean seriously, come on now. They ONLY became a good team with the arrival of Garnett and Allen. Before that, Paul Pierce couldn't do JACK with his team.
