Second Green Day is no longer as good as they once were. Their best album was Dookie.

really? seriously really? Cause i mean come on there are tons of bands better than green day let alone better singers/guitarists, better drummers, as well as better bassits.

They're an okay band. I don't think there's anything too special about them. The music is mediocre and the lyrics are alright.

I listen to the old stuff sometimes, newer stuff is definitely eh material.

Warning is actually their best album =D

And American Idiot got hated on because people are morons. The political aspects might be weak, but She's A Rebel and Letterbomb are two of the best songs they've ever written. As a punk anthem American Idiots (the song) works quite nicely, and Holiday is one of the catchiest songs I've ever heard.

Boulivard of Broken Dreams is the only moment where the album really falters, and, ironically, that was the main single. I typically accept that as the reason why people hate on one of Green Day's better albums.

Yeah I've heard it, it's not too bad but I still prefer the older music. Honestly I listened to the whole Foxboro Hot Tubs disc 1 time and that was it. I dont think I'll ever listen to it again. Mother Mary was good, but I dont think I'll listen to the rest again, for a while.

Ehhhh, nothing really special about them. They were alright back before American Idiot (gag), but even still, there are way better and more inventive punk bands, like early The Ataris, case in point. and saying that any of them are good musicians is just kind of a moot point, because everyone knows to make good punk music, you have to be really bad at the instrument you play.

i liked Holiday from their American Idiot cd. but my fave song by them is When I Come Around.
