Luca Heard the doors to the theater lock around the corner." Fe listen to me..... I'm not gonna lie... and i will tell you the truth since no one is around for me to be embarrassed but me.." I kinda..." He thought" No... I always feel as if your right there with me no matter what. And I feel so different when i'm with you. I feel happy... So i guess what i'm trying to say is that I think.... I think i Lo.."

" HEY WHAT ARE YOU KIDS DOING OUT HERE? YOUR SUPPOSE TO BE IN THE THEATER FOR THE MEETING" A thin tall man in a military uniform stood before them, his rifle in his hand, waiting for an answer" This school doesn't have room for People like you.. Besides, it's not like there is gonna be anyone to miss you here anyways.." The man raised his gun at Fefe, looking at luca with his eyes" You! on your feet, get into the theater" He then turned to Fefe" You too! Follow him" The doors to the theater were unlocked from the outside, Luca was forced inside, he didn't turn around to see if Fefe was ok, fearing she would be shot if he did.

Luca sat down in the back as the soldier exited the theater, the doors locking behind him. The headmaster was beginning to talk.

" First i would like to welcome all of our guests" He Motioned to the men behind him" These are all ranking officers of the National Military Unit of this province. They have come to visit the school today, and here of your exam.... This is the 78th annual exam of it's type. We hold them every 4 years, so that every student takes the exam only once." the headmaster stopped and coughed for a minute before continuing.

" You are going to be deployed into various parts of the surrounding world, and you will have 1 month to find your way back. Graduation is in 30 days from now, so to all those who would be graduating then, you will have to pass this final exam to graduate." The headmaster took a drink of water, he was quite old so it was not normal for him to be talking for such a long period of time. He continued.

" You will be split up into teams of 8 people each with people from various age groups on your team. meaning that there will be at least one senior, junior, sophmore, and freshmen on your team." Now i will be listing off the teams, so listen closely for your name." The screen behind him flashed up with a list of 30 teams scrolling down it.

Luca looked over at Fefe, pointing out their names" Hey there is us!! Zieth Comacoda, Luca Spears, Himatoma, Hono, Felish Harrington, Mika Winter, Levi Relic, Kevin Kilser" Well at least he was with Fefe and his other friends.

"Listen, Fe....about what i was going to say back there... I ... am a little confused right now, cause of this mix of emotions i'm in.. But i do have one last confession..." Luca paused, thinking about what he was about to say. He just wanted to tell her he loved her... But the words kept escaping his mind every time he opened his mouth. " ... I have something to tell you... Fe,.. I lo.."

"And those are the teams, so everyone please report to your assigned room and meet the rest of your team there"

Luca had been cut off once again. He felt as though it wouldn't mean as much to say it now.. Maybe she wouldn't believe him, or maybe she didn't feel the same... It seemed that every time he tried to show her, something else always came up." Just forget it" He whispered to her, falling back in his chair.. He was so afraid to tell her, so afraid of what she might say, how she might react.".. It wasn't important anyway i guess.." Luca lowered his head, standing to his feet " Come on, we better get to our room to meet up with the rest of the team"

Fefe looked at him and sighed. She leaned deep into her seat, she didn't like the whole idea of what was going on, and she didn't like the fact that guy had a gun to her face, she had a right mind to kick his ass, but Luca was there, she didn't know how to respond. After the assembly was over, Fe had this sinking feeling in heart, like something was going to happen, and it was going to go wrong. She stood up and grabbed Luca by the arm. Zieth and Shiro wouldn't mind if she borrowed him for a bit.

"Follow my lead..."

As the huge crowd of students started to exit from the theater, Fe had held Luca's arm tightly pulling him through, the crowd seemed to go towards the dorms, but Fe led Luca to another direction. She took him outside to the gardens, where they would eat during lunch. She loved it here, cause it was the place where she met Luca. She smiled and started to let his arm go.

"The snow is beautiful...But the way the flowers thrive from it...Is even more beautiful..."

She knew what Luca was trying to say the whole time they were together, and she was happy he didn't get to finish the statement. She wanted to tell him first.

"Luca...I love you..."

She whispered as she wrapped her arms around him, and hugged him from behind, resting her head on his back and smiling softly.

Alex looked up shocked at the headmaster as he spoke. What kind of sick game was this? Did he really think he could do that? Well of course it wasn't like the parents could sign a waiver or something, but still, he didn't think it was right. He sighed as the kids were filing out of the theater. He walked up the stairs to the stage and looked at the headmaster with a disgusted look on his face. "As for you. I have a special job for you. Here's a map, a pocket knife, and a special key. What this key is for, i will not tell you. Use it however you wish. Now, one of these men behind me will take you to a nice little location by helicopter. I want you to stay there and assist children taking the exam." The headmaster handed him the knife, map, and key and then smiled at him. One of the militia men stepped forward and looked at Alex. "We must leave before the children. Let us go." the man said. The man had an accent, but Alex couldn't make out what type of accent it was. He nodded to him and put the items in his pocket.

Alex followed the man out the theater as the kids went to their assigned rooms. He passed Luca and gave him a half smile and a small wave. As they walked through the halls, Alex was filled with a nervous sensation. He knew this wasn't going to be good. As they walked outside, a helicopter came into view. "Are you ready?" Alex took one last look at the school, and then quietly got in the helicopter. The man got in the driver's seat and gave Alex a parachute.

The helicopter soon took off. "Here...take this" said the man as he handed Alex a pill. Alex took it from him and examined it quickly. "TAKE IT!" said the man. Alex quickly popped the small pill in his mouth and swallowed it. He looked at the man next to him. "So you have a name?" he asked the man. "Just call me Sir..." said the man in an annoyed tone. Alex yawned. His eyelids started to get heavier. It was then he realized what the pill was exactly. It was a sleeping pill to make Alex sleep. And he couldn't help it. There was nothing he could do. His eyelids continued to get heavier until all he saw was a black oblivion of nothing.

The wind blew through Alex's golden hair. He slowly opened his eyes as he looked down at the ground as it started to get closer....and closer....and it was then that Alex realized he was falling through the sky. Alex soon began to panic. He didn't know what to do. He would die in a matter of seconds. Then he remembered the parachute. He quickly pulled the string as the ground was getting closer. It didn't work. That was it. He was dead. Nothing he could do. He pulled it again....and again...but still nothing. The ground was less than a mile away and Alex felt as if he was going at least 60 MPH. He would surely die. He gave the string one last tug that ripped it off of the bag. However, at that same time, the parachute came flying out. Alex sighed from relief as he slowly reached the bottom and looked around. He was definately part of this "exam".

All Hono heard was "exams" and that was all she needed.She wanted to know what kind of exams they were taking,but not that it mattered,as she was not gonna take them.These exams are exactly what forced Leon away.The only thing she knew was that these exams must be a kind of nightmare.

On her way out of the auditorium,she grabbed Shiro's hand and pulled him into her Dorm 13 then into her room.
Hono told him to gather anything that was necessary to keep them alive for a few weeks.She grabbed her backpack and started packing her bullets and other weapons.She then grabbed some food that she stored in case something like this would happen.

"We have to leave now."She looked down at the ground and tried to hold back tears."Remember Leon?!This is not good.We have to leave now,"Hono said very sternly."We cannot let them do this!"
Hono now had a wild look in her eyes and pulled Shiro out of the Dorm Building.She kept holding his hand and ran switfly and quietly,and went unseen,even with Shiro at her side.She led him to an unseen building buried in the ground.

"This is a type of basement.They dont use it anymore and it is empty.When I dont show up for classes,this is where I am.I am perfectly sure this place is safe enough and we can stay here for a little while.Just listen to what I say and you should be fine."

Mika never made it to the theater for the begining of the meeting, she was still looking for her book which she found in the dorm room hall. After she returned it to the libary she got there just in time to hear where she would me going. Waiting for all the students to get out of the theater she was the last one out.Mika slowly walked to the room she was assigned not really wanting to go. She didn't know the people who was in her group so she would have to met them there. she got to the room wondering what was going on. when she was in the room she sat on a table in the corner waiting for someone to talk.

Ooc: Sorry but I have to ignore that last post from xayenort.. I AM taking the exams..

Ic: Shiro stood up from his chair and noticed Fe stealing Luca away again. Shiro wondered how long Fe was going to keep Luca away from his friends.

"She must not realize that his friends enjoy hanging out with too," Shiro said aloud, slightly embarrassed that he was stressing about a girl walking away with a male friend, and that he was jealous of the said female. Shiro walked out of the huge oak doors and towards the teams designated room, which just happened to be the Dorm 15 common room. Shiro really want to leave, to be alone, but he found that this would be to difficult without Luca and Zieth noticing. Shiro was sure that Fe wouldn't care. She seemed to only really care about Luca and Zieth. It seemed she had no feelings for him at all. As Shiro entered the room he noticed that a yound girl by the name of Mika was sitting in a chair and Rick was leaning against the far left wall. Rick looked unpleasant and Mika looked plain bored, or scared, or maybe nervous, but Shiro couldn't which. He took a seat about two chairs away from her.

"What are we doing Rick?"

Luca couldn't believe what he was hearing. Was this real? For a moment he had convinced himself he was in a dream. So there he stood, his arms wrapped around fe, her head on his shoulder as she hugged him. " I ..." he was in shock. What could he say? everything that came to mind seemed just not suitable for her, not good enough in his own opinion" ..You..." Words just seemed not to fit together as he stood there, trying to tell her how he felt as well " .. Sorry... i'm kinda... new when it comes to stuff like this.." He felt stupid" .. Fe.. I love you so much... I'm so sorry i didn't tel you sooner and.. " He wanted so badly to continue but things were just so hard to put together. Luca felt so confused" I didn't think you liked me at all ... so i just kept quiet..and." Once more he stopped".. You know what" A smile crossed Luca's face".. It doesn't matter anymore"

He continued to hug her for a moment, embracing her tightly. It was one of the best moments of his life, if not the best.

It seemed like 5 minutes or so had passed until he let go of her, placing his lips on her forehead and kissing her"... thank you fe... for everything.."

Over the intercom he heard one more time " all students report to your assigned classes" Luca wanted to so badly to stay there hugging her and spending time with her, but he knew the consequences would be severe if they neglected to show up to their assigned class and take the exam.

Luca slid his hand into hers, raising her chin with the other and kissing her softly, smiling as he pulled away shortly after" .. come on" He spoke almost silently" We better get going before we get in trouble. The last thing i need is for you to be in trouble for me" He kept smiling, pulling on her hand slightly, beginning to walk towards the class which they needed to meet the rest of the team in.

Luca was so happy at that moment, he felt as though he could take on the world and win. coughing heavily, he clenched his chest for an instance, then it stopped. He turned to Fefe for a moment" I'm fine... i swear, don't worry about me" He knew what she had been thinking about. He didn't want her to worry about him over a little cold he had acquired. Slowly he began walking towards the classroom again, knowing he would have 30 days straight to spend with her.

Shiro waited in the common room. Rick hadn't told him anything he didn't already know. The girl sat quiet, never whispering even a single sound. Shiro watched as the minutes ticked by. He wondered how long it would take the others to get back. It had already been 20 minutes, but no one else was showing up.

Shiro figured that Luca was probably making out with Fe by now. No. That was to far fetched. They were probably just crying to each other about things that were going on in their lives. Zieth had also not walked through the common room door yet. Shiro really had no idea what he was doing. Possibly showing up Alex some more. Shiro slightly chuckled to himself.

"My life sucks," he thought as he laughed.

Fe leaned against him, her face rubbing into his shoulder. She sighedm when the realization of her and Luca being together might mean. Before they were at the classroom, Fe stopped and looked at Luca. She smiled and kissed him softly.

"Let's not tell anybody just yet, okay?"

She said it quickly so that way he wouldn't respond, she quickly let go of his hand and walked into the classroom. She sat in front of Shiro and looked at him. She smiled at him then gave a little frown, he seemed to be upset.

"You okay?"

She said looking at him as she turned around in her seat.

Shiro looked up at Fe. He had just been scanning his shoes for any signs of possible ant uprisings. There were none from what he could tell. He heard her ask a question but didn't answer.

"Why is she talking to me? Shiro wondered, "She doesn't know me and I don't know her.

Shiro sat in his chair quietly. If Fe was back that meant Luca was sure to follow. It was as if the two were inseparable as of late. Shiro wished he had someone like that for himself, but it seemed he was always destined to be the friend instead of the love interest. This bothered Shiro. What didn't he have that other guys did? Why were they so special? Surely he was just as good as anyone else, and then Shiro thought about what he was fighting with himself about. He wasn't any better. If anything he was lower. What made him think he was so great and almighty? Why was he better than them?

"I'm fine," Shiro sad sullenly.

Fe looked at him, and her head quickly sunk in, as a look of irriatation came on her face. She rubbed the back of her head and sighed.

"I know..You don't know me..And you probaly feel like I'm a threat, but I'm perfectly harmless, and I'm actually pretty nice to people, and I want to get to know you, if that's not to much to ask?"

She smiled and then turned around to face Luca, she smiled at him and then quickly turned her head to the board, where a couple of notes were written, she started to write them down

Shiro ignored whatever Fe had said. He didn't really care what she had to say at the moment. He just wanted to leave. Nobody really cared if he was there or not. He had been ignored all day by his friends. Why should he stay if his friends aren't going to act like friends at all. Shiro wished there was someone around he could get a hug from. A hug would help. Any kinda of attention from anyone would help.

Shiro slumped down in his chair. He made sure his knees were directly in the way of Fe's line of view to his face. Now if she turned around she would just see his knees.

Shiro felt like an odd man out. He felt like he was slowly slipping into a spiraling case of manic depression, and if that was the case, he knew he needed help, but where was he going to get it from? He didn't really see anyone who could help him. Everyone seemed like they would be to caught up in their own affairs to worry about someone else's. What was he to do?

A mouse scurried in the corner of the room. It looked as if it was attempting to pull its leg out of a mouse trap. Shiro stood up, walked over to the trap, surveyed the damage, picked up the trap and released the poor animal.

"There you go little buddy," Shiro said aloud to the animal, and strangely enough, to Shiro, it looked as if the mouse nodded in approval of what he had just done. Shiro set the mouse on the floor and, for how bad its little leg looked, it scurried fast as lightning towards the hole in the wall. Shiro looked out the window at the untouched snow that rained down from the heavens. He laughed quietly to himself.

"Thanks little buddy," he said to no one in particular. Shiro proceeded back to his seat and sat down. He was happy now, but still wondered what was taking everyone so long.

"If the rest of your squad doesn't come soon we will have to start without them," Rick said as if answering the questions in everyones heads.

Shiros mind raced for a few more minutes, touching on every subject thinkable from the number of pencils stuck in the ceiling of the small common room, to the new flavor of Mountain Dew. It was a good flavor. It had Master Chief on the front too. That was a plus.

All Luca could think about was being hugged by Fe just now, hearing that someone actually loved him. He strolled in calmly, glancing around to see that barely anyone was in the classroom. Behind him, two freshman also walked in the door. Luca smiled at Fefe as he walked passed her, still exuberantly happy about their previous encounter.

Luca still was curios as to why they would take freshman on the exam. I mean, they just got there. They would only get in the way since they didn't know how to do anything yet. Then again, to get into the academy you did have to have some type of martial training, unless you knew some other skill, like medicine. medic's were revered as the saviors of the battlefield. If you wound up with a medic on your team, you were sure to be ok. Sadly, Luca wasn't sure if their team had a medic on it or not.

Slowly, he trudged over to where Shiro was sitting. He hadn't been able to really talk to him all day, his mind had been stuck on Fefe for all of this morning, and it was still somewhat stuck on her. He felt like he was neglecting his friends. he spoke up a little softer then usual.

" Sorry about today man, i have just been a little busy. I know we haven't been able to hang out much and all, but hey now look, we have 30 days to hang out together, so i kind of hope that will make up for it. I kinda wanted to talk to zieth about that this too... but i haven't seen him since class this morning. Have you seen him anywhere?" Luca was really kind of worried actually. Zieth was usually everywhere before everyone else. But for some reason he was not in the room with the rest of the team.

"Anyhow... I think we need to talk to everybody about some stuff... cause my tiny tiny bit of medical training isn't going to be enough to help us all if we are severely injured in a fight. We need to find out if anyone here took any medical classes .... and we need to find out as soon as possible."

Luca already felt like the leader, he didn't want to be one... but he was making his self out to be one" Not that you guys have to do what i say or anything, i was just throwing it out there for you guys to think about."

Shiro watched Luca walk through the door. He looked happier than usual, but who complains about someone looking happier. Luca walked over to Shiro and sat down next to him. Shiro listened to what he had to say and then responded accordingly:

"Yeah man, I think it will be great, these next 30 days. Only thing is we'll be lost but who cares? Remember when we used to go out into the Woods outside the school grounds in freshman year and get lost for days. This'll be just like then, except to the top of the hardcore meter."

"I haven't seen Zieth since class either. I figure he probably was held up by Alex to do even more speed demonstrations. He was showing him up this morning. I figure the teacher probably doesn't like that very much," Shiro finished with a laugh.

Shiro agreed with the argument that they need to see if anyone had taken any medical classes. Shiro so far was the top candidate, seeing as when he came to the school his first two years classes were all based on being a medic. Shiro had originally wanted to be a medic but his was always told that he had the makings to be a better warrior, so in his Sophomore year he had all his classes changed to warrior training classes, and with the help of his friends he was able to become one of the top three in his class. Shiro found it odd that the school would put the top three seniors of the school all in the same group.

"That must mean that the sophmores and freshman really blow hardcore," Shiro thought to himself.
